ASUS Rog 13.4 Rocks
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have owned several ASUS products in the past and have been super happy with their designs and performance. I already have a man ASUS gaming rig and laptop, however, I was in the need for something a bit more mobile while still providing the performance I am used to and this i9, NVidia GeForce graphic powerhouse with 1 TB of SSD storage has delivered. The detachable soft keyboard is super convenient when storing away yet the sleek design and ease of use with the multi-color backlite make this device not just functional and powerful, but incredible to look at. The installed back kickstand is a wonderful welcome feature. The touchscreen and high resolution is just more ice on the cake. I am super happy I was able to score one of these beasts.

ASUS hit this one out of the park!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best in class and we couldn't be happier with the product. Excellent display that rivals and maybe exceeds OLED performance. Plays games at ultimate settings without fail and without excess temperature. It will also play Witcher 3 set at highest (not Ultra) quite well in performance or Turbo mode without rebooting. The fans are quite, but it is a gaming PC so expect a little noise. Battery life while gaming is as expected 1-2 hours max. Battery life when streaming is about 7 hours, while doing normal tasks, I am seeing 8-9 but this is really dependent on how much work the PC is doing per task. This PC design allows for great cooling, excellent keyboard feel and function and portability. Thanks for making a good one ASUS

Gaming Tablet… Oh so close…
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really had high hopes for this one. It’s a form factor I’ve been searching for for a LONG time. It’s a well made machine for what it is. But for the price, you can get a better laptop. But if you really like the Tablet form factor it’s the best you’re gonna get. This thing as a top spec processor but the underpowered RTX 3050Ti. It ran older games just fine but the power and cooling is shared between both CPU and GPU, so they’re both underpowered on more intensive tasks. Also understand that if you’re doing this, the metal chassis will get VERY hot. Asus does offer a mobile 3080 GPU that wil free up the CPU and provide a performance boost. The problem is price. At $1500 for this mobile GPU dock (that needs to be separately powered), you’re entering high spec PC build price territory. The biggest gripe is battery life. I was able to get about 40 minutes while gaming and not much better (55 minutes) streaming videos on the web. You will need to keep the power cable nearby. That was my breaking point. I had my iPad doing the same exact task (streaming video on chrome) and while my iPad was chugging along no issues, the Z13 was on 5 percent. If the battery is that bad for a minor task like video streaming, I might as well get a desktop because I would be tether to a power cord either way. I love the attempt because I love the idea of a powerful Gaming Tablet, but honestly with the terrible battery life I might as well spend the money for a better spec gaming laptop, or a Desktop. I had to return it and begin my search again. Will be missed and hopefully the next generation will have more power or lower price point.

Incredible 2-1.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Incredible and versatile 2-1. Plenty of power to run top games and use as a computer for multitasking. This beast handles everything I throw at it. The display is fantastic and everything looks great on it. The kick stand works great and allows for many angles. Wonderful that there is an sd card slot and m2 expansion port. The other ports are great also. The lighting effects look really cool on the back. Docking one star because battery life could be better to use as a tablet replacement (though it is not surprising given the power of this tablet)

Great Windows tablet in a very cool package!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was searching for a laptop with high end specs but easy to travel with. I did not start out even considering this tablet. I had searched out different laptops and specs online, was looking mainly at gaming laptops for the high end memory and graphics. This tablet did not appear in any of my searches. However, when viewing what I thought I might want at our two most local Best Buy’s, I did not like the weight or cases on my selections. A sales rep asked me if I had considered this one. It has the speed and memory to do everything my old large, heavy laptop did (and more), but in a much more mobile package (like my Surface Pro I use for work). Really, it is a Surface Pro on adrenaline. The keyboard is magnetic and detaches, like the Surface. Touch screen, which some people don’t think is essential, but I am used to and would miss. Although I would have loved 32GB of RAM, the 16GB is adequate with the additional dedicated memory for the graphics card. (I think it may be available in 32GB if ordered, but may be only from ASUS). It is mobile, like my surface, but less expensive and in a much cooler package with the color changing keyboard and case. (Yea, I know. You don’t buy a computer for how it looks. But if you can have it all, Win-Win!) I may miss the dedicated num pad at times (like tax season) but so far I haven’t. I love this computer!

Fast! Capable and light weight
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This i9 is just what i was looking for since I travel a lot and spend much time on planes and carrying the laptop on the backpack. It is fast, there's 16 cores and 16gigs of RAM and makes multitasking way easier. I used to have a MSI creator Z16 i7 11th paired with a 3060, the Z13 with an 12th i9 and 3050 handles everything much better (graphics are very close in fps terms), and if I need more GPU in th future I'm planing on getting the XG mobile with a 4090. I give this a 5 star since it's working as described and not overheating, silent, good graphics and plenty of storage in a 1TB ssd. Cons: none, but i would appreciate a higher resolution like 2k or 4k since this is very capable, but that's just a though and I don't need it. Maybe another usb-c port. For the price, I find this a no brainer.

Great tablet/laptop for gaming and anything else
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works as intended. Battery time is about 2 hours and 40 minutes fully changed on medium settings. In performance mode it will give you much less time. However the processor is fast, the tablet performs great when connected to a socket which makes it a great portable option for business travels. It's also great if you want to play games while on the go. The design makes it have breathing space since all the hardware is behind the screen while in laptop mode. All in all I am happy with the purchase. I just hope batteries make a breakthrough in the next 10 years so we can have a more powerful and longer lasting battery. I recommend buying a Usb/ethernet/hdmi/dp port hub and this is basically a portable desktop. And if you can afford it then get an external gpu and you can upgrade the graphics output as long as its something better than a 3050ti.

My favorite on-the-go powerhouse! A joy to use!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tablet/laptop has far exceeded all of my expectations....it's quick and quiet....not nearly my idea of "heavy" like many of the reviews I have read have suggested. I originally bought this as sort of a companion to my office workstation desktop since my job requires me to be out in the field alot and on-the-go for things like last minute conference calls and meetings. I loved used ArcGIS and other mapping software in the field and ended up purchasing a used Microsoft Surface Pen for marking up maps while out on a site. Within a week or two, I found myself enjoying this device so much more than my workstation (which has 32gb of RAM and an even newer/stronger GPU!) that I often set it up and continue my work on it at the office, without even turning on my desktop! When considering this review, I've thought about the many reviews I read prior to purchasing this device: PROS: Slim, portable and snappy performance. As someone who games a few times a week (at most), I've found performance on games like COD, Far Cry 6, Elden Ring, etc. to be exactly what I need ! CONS: Battery life is what to expect from a tablet/laptop that is meant to be pushed to the limits. However, besides the times that I'm in the field for 2-3 hours at a time without a backup power or battery source, I generally have a way to plug in the device to power...so it hasn't been an issue for me. OVERALL: If you're like me and wanted an all-around device that can supplement a work or home workstation desktop....something that can be taken on the go for work and gaming, without sacrificing the power and speed of your workstation, this device is for you. And as I said earlier, I still genuinely get excited to power it up and use it....it's just that great!

Innovative Piece of Hardware; but lacks
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this tablet for over a year now and I consider it one of the most expensive purchases I've ever made. I don't regret it but I do think that the better pathway into the Flow and Ally ecosystem is with the Flow X models rathert than the Flow Z tablets. They're cheaper and afforded the same if not better configurations that the Flow z13 while still giving you the benefit of using the XG Mobile if you so chose. The screen looks really colorful and bright and is another one of this tablet's strongsuits. However, I would not recommend this laptop due to its price to performance, $1800 for a 3050ti laptop gpu is by all means robbery but if you have the money and like innovative tech then this is for you.

Great performance with not so great battery
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Being that this is the best performance youll get in this form factor. There is no competition. I know we turn our noses up to the battery life but who in there right mind get a gaming rig for battery life. May as well buy a Lamborghini know you're house has 100 miles of residential area around it. You bought this for raw power and own it. So with that out the way this computer is amazing but 4 stars only due to the power limits that asus inposes on use to keep from frying this puppy. If we can get the options to tinker with the thermals and voltages the 5 stars all day. Since the price has come down substantially i think this is a worthy purchase; especially if you're looking at a surface pro.

Asus Rog Rockssss
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent product!!! so far I love it, I don't play games much to be honest, but I really liked the relation price/performance for this device, I do video editing at home, so for me the battery limitation is not a problem, but it does have a small battery!! Anyhow, I love this PC/Tablet format; and it also looks so nice ! BTW, it also works perfectly with my Lenovo Docking station ;-)

Impressive Innovation
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently had the pleasure of getting my hands on the Asus Flow Z13 2022, and I must say, it has completely exceeded my expectations. This 2-in-1 laptop/tablet hybrid is a true game-changer. The design of the Asus Flow Z13 is sleek and modern. Its premium build quality exudes elegance, and the 360-degree hinge adds versatility that I've come to love. Whether I'm using it as a traditional laptop, a tablet, or in tent mode for presentations, it adapts seamlessly to my needs. The 13.3-inch OLED touchscreen display is a real stunner, with vibrant colors and sharp details that make everything look stunning. Performance-wise, this laptop packs a punch. The 12th Gen Intel Core i9 processor with RTX 3050 Ti, coupled with ample RAM and fast SSD storage, ensures that multitasking is a breeze. Whether I'm working on spreadsheets, editing photos, or streaming 4K videos, the Asus Flow Z13 handles it all effortlessly. One standout feature of the Asus Flow Z13 is its stylus support and it is incredibly responsive and accurate, making digital note-taking and drawing a joy. It's a worthy investment that has exceeded my expectations in every way. Asus has truly knocked it out of the park with this remarkable device.

Surface Pro athletic brother
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great Laptop/tablet system. I never bought a surface because it has more than 1 use. The battery last for 5-6 hours for me on eco mode which is not ideal but I rarely need to use a computer for more than 4 hrs straight. Which is really good for a gaming focused laptop, rgb lights and all! Also the battery replacement is not difficult and I have a battery bank that can charge it no problem.

Good Laptop, Terrible Battery
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Product was overall very well made. I was thoroughly pleased with the performance of this laptop which I use for work. However, with roughly a year of use, the battery abruptly stopped holding a charge. A week later the battery has expanded damaging the rest of the laptop. Unfortunately, this issue only arose soon after the 1-year battery warranty expired leaving me to deal with this battery defect out of pocket. Fairly disappointing considering my long history and satisfaction with ASUS products. I will be much more weary of ASUS products moving forward.

iPad Pro + Steam Deck + Microsoft Surface
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this thing so far: Functions like an iPad Pro, can play games like the steam deck, and can do many tasks like a Microsoft Surface. I use it for both school and gaming. Cool design. This is not a high end gaming system although it has a 3050ti, don’t expect it to run crysis 2 on full settings. I was playing midnight suns for a little bit and it was choppy in some animations. Battery lacks in luster, especially when you are gaming. But this has been so useful to me that I can’t tell you not to buy this thing! Love it! Would buy another.
