A good first, or casual gaming pc.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this as a replacement to a 5 year old custom loop I built. Messed it up doing maintenance, so I wanted something simple to start over with. Overall not as bad as old YouTube reviews state. It has improved from those and the display pictures. Has the potential to be a awesome gaming. pC Pros: -CPU cooler was upgraded to something passable -a sane amount of thermal paste under the cooler -heat sinks on the mobo -surprisingly good cable management -psu looks fine, or more branded than a generic. 750 gold -cool rgb case -an m.2 drive installed and room for one more. -I’m pretty sure it’s real glass -potential to be a monster -a whole computer for the cost of a new RTX 2080 Super Cons: -runs warm -anything you install is DIY. Doesn’t look like you’re supposed to do much in there. -it has an HDD -Only other fan is a 92mm exhaust. -single stick of 16g -plug the included keyboard and mouse into a trash can. Conclusion: With about $400 worth of parts you can make this thing fantastic. Swap the HDD for SSD. go 2 x 8gb sticks of ram, 240mm closed loop cooler on the cpu, and add some fans. Dropped my temps significantly under load. If you’re just playing casual but still want something more high end, it’s not a bad choice. If your playing this thing hard for hours on end, at least figure out how to get more fans in there. I always said I’d never buy a prebuilt, but I don’t hate this PC stock out of the box, and I love it modified

Very good and stable prodcut
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off I just want to say I do not know much about computers and PC's. All I do know, is that GPU and other component prices are very unstable nowadays because of the pandemic. And after a year or so of research to know the basics of how to build a PC, I realized how hard it would be to get all the components I want. Luckily I saw the specs for this one... i7 9700k, and most importantly a 2080 super. As far as PC parts go, these are some very good parts in my opinion. Not to mention the storage is good. So instead of going through the hassle of waiting and spending most likely just as much or more money I decided to all in and buy this prebuilt. PRICE: The price overall is really not that bad considering you are getting a great graphics card and a good amount of storage and 16gb of ram. Obviously if you built your own you can do exactly and spend the direct amount you want to equal what performance you want... but like I said that is hard to do nowadays considering everything. I also added on the protection plan i believe as well as something else. But if you just buy the PC alone, it should be maybe a hundred more. Overall I think this PC is definitely worth this price. PERFORMANCE: Now in terms of performance I actually love this PC. It is everything I dreamed of. And I am not just saying that, Best Buy and Asus did a wonderful job taking and making sure this PC was ready to go. No issues, just plug and play. The only games I play are Minecraft and Call of duty. I get almost 300 FPS on Minecraft with Shaders. I also get a constant 60 fps with call of duty... No frame drops or lag spikes at all. I also have forza horizen 4... again no lag spikes, nothing. I only have 60hz monitors so most games i play are usually capped at 60 fps, but this machine is very capable and trustworthy to go above that. Overall fabulous performance with this PC, it is exactly what I dreamt of switching from console. Other things worth noting: The only con with when I bought this PC is that the exhaust fan did not work... but knowing at least a little bit about PC's i just plugged the exhaust fan into another CPU fan slot, works 100% fine now :) The motherboard did not come and I am still confused on how make to manage the actual settings of the motherboard etc. But you can change the lighting which is very cool, the fan speed, and how specifically you want the PC to perform using the armory crate. Also it is not the most quiet machine ever, but just throw on some headphones and your good to go, I have never had any overheating problems as well. Overall I am super happy with this prebuilt PC. It is exactly what I dreamt of switching from console. And considering everything going on in the world, I would if you want to invest in this specific product from Best Buy, I highly suggest it :)

Great PC, but requires upgrades soon after buying
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Owned this pc for just over a week, and it's been a great machine. I will say though, the motherboard isn't great at all, Lower ram speeds than advertised (advertised as 3600, won't allow over 2666.) The computer runs hot straight out of the box, but with a good cpu cooler, and replaced exhaust fan, it will be much lower. You can't add anymore fans in the existing case, there are no mounts for it. Just a few things I did to upgrade the computer a bit, I added another 16gb stick of ram, same attributes to the other one, simply for Dual channel memory. I upgraded the cpu fan to the Noctua NH-U9s, fantastic cooler. I did purchase a 3 pack of "uphere" brand fans, but didn't realize there were no fan spots on the case. I did replace the exhaust fan with a 120mm fan though. I do recommend this pc, only if you plan to upgrade some things to make it a bit better.

A week in and i am satisfied - Why is this getting
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Low review? So obviously this computer isn't going to be 3000 dollar monster that you see on linus tech tips. If your complainging about upgrade-ability this computer is not for you. But out of the box it has worked for me. Heres what i getting performance wise: Overwatch epic settings (1440P) - 120-140 fps Overwatch ultimate settings (1440p) - 140+ fps Oculus quest (over rift s link) - 72 fps, no dropped frames and max resolution - pretty much the max of the quest unit os loads up with 30 seconds - no issues steam games no issues will i take it apart to update card + ram + processor? No i will not i can see this thing lasting 4 yrs performing decently Will i over clock? Not really its good to go just go to armoury crate and select turbo setting on pc benchmark it was as advertised. The only con, is the usb configuration it advertised was not to brochure. But everything has ran fine.

Great value/end of generation Gaming PC
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While it may not be the best time to buy a gaming PC, given the fact that both AMD and NVIDIA are about to drop new generations of GPUs this fall, this PC offers fantastic value and future proofing for the price. If you really want to buy a Gaming PC right now (and I don’t blame you...2020), you want to make sure you’re going to at least match next generation CONSOLES, and future proof yourself for whenever you may want to upgrade any of your PC hardware. First and foremost, the 2080 Super is a solid high-end card that’s about on par with the upcoming Xbox Series X processor and will largely outperform the PS5. This means your PC will be more than ready to handle the next generation of 3rd party titles and Microsoft exclusives. If you desire to have a mid to high end machine, you should be good for the next couple of years. More importantly, is the future proofing: The i7 9700K CPU is a fantastic processor and should last you for the next few years, even if you decide to upgrade to a next generation GPU. It should handle most new high-end cards without bottlenecking. The wattage in this build is 750W which should be enough for several of the next generation GPUs, as well. The new 3080 is rumored to require 650-750 watts. Overall the build of this PC offers better quality than most custom builds online. Asus is a great brand with good customer care. While it may not be the most attractive thing I’ve ever seen, it’s solid, well constructed, and reliable. I personally would want a 1TB SSD drive over 512GB, but the massive 2TB HDD makes up for it. You’re getting a lot of bang for your buck with this one. Similar builds on custom sites all run more expensive. For me, I really wanted a PC that was great for now and would be able to support better tech later. The build below this model with the 2070 Super comes with weaker hardware all around...and only a 500W power supply. It would not be a good choice for future proofing. I do plan on trading up my GPU in the next couple of years and am more than pleased with the excellent 2080 Super for now.

Great for gaming!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Right out of the box this machine is ready to play most games at incredible FPS. Only tweak I had to make was turn off “game mode” that windows has enabled and go to power settings and enable performance mode. For COD Warzone I’m getting my monitors max performance of 165FPS while playing in 2K with HDR. More than happy with this machine!

Good mid tier PC
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a really good high performing PC but if you don’t know how to set it to the right settings, the games will for sure crash. I play 120fps on 144hz monitor on warzone and it’s very smooth. Actually convinced my friend to the 2070 and he loves it.

Windows runs smooth and the games (COD-Warzone) even smoother! Zero tweaks needed out of the box! Game ready! I eagerly await Win 10 2004 to be approved for this unit for the gpu scheduling feature. It will only make this RTX shine even more! Play, stream at the same time with zero lag or extra hardware.

SanDisk Ultra M.2 NVMe 3D SSD
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.(Credit goes to Scott, another BestBuy reviewer) For those wanting to install another NVMe SSD, you'll have to remove the DIMM 2 and unscrew the metal plates. After doing so, you'll be able to insert an NVMe SSD (mine was a SanDisk Ultra M.2 NVMe 3D SSD). note: it's very VERY very easy to strip the screws from the DIMM 2, so proceed with caution. Make sure you're using superior / right-size philips screwdriver.

Very upset
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I don't know that much about gaming computers I'm new to the gameing computer seen...before this i had a gaming laptop but tons of videos on youtube on how to set up a gaming pc so i downloaded the graphics card drivers and drivers for motherboard. I play destiny, at 1080p with this device i should be getting around 200fps but im lucky to hit 70fps. I will call asus to see if this issue can be resolved and if so will change this review but its mindblowing to me that out of the box my 1000dollar gaming LAPTOP was out preforming this pc. It also appears that pieces are not plugged in. I will take a picture and include it as i cant find where its suppose to go but i cant imagine this is right. It also keeps making this wierd beeping noise every few minutes

no light from the PC worked.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the PC 2 days ago. The image from BestBuy shows a Desktop with many colors (inside and at the front of the desktop). None of the lights worked for me. Very disappointing. It took me 2 days to configure this PC... I don't want to return it, I just want to know if BestBuy or ASUS could fix it for me. Only now I realized that the lights weren't working. I thought it was a software problem, but yeah, it's a bad installation problem.

INSANE SPECS BUT TERRIBLE COOLING SYSTEM + CASE
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This PC was good in its own world for productivity and it was fast. The CPU and GPU were insane and the pc overall had great specs. However, paying $1799 for a pc that it is so hard to upgrade, getting some random ram from some random company, and then Tobisha HDD just made it worse. But the worst thing was the cooling. You can't cool down a pc efficiently with only one outtake fan and a terrible 92 mm air cooler. If you upgrade this to a aio cooler or even put more fans, it will make it better, but its literally so hard to upgrade it. Prying the plastics off, then taking the entire motherboard off to make sure that nothing gets damaged is terrible and its insane to work in such a cramped case. Fan mounting is so hard because you have to drill proper holes if you want to do that in the first place. The problem is, if this pc was less expensive, with a decent cooling system, then that would be good. But for $1799, and then buying more fans, aio and all just adds up the cost even more. There's only 2 dim slots and the motherboard is just weird to work with. I would rather have worse specs like maybe a i7 8700k or Ryzen 7 3700x or some sort with a 2070 super or 2070 or around there and have a good cooling system at a cheaper price. Now, with all the upgrades with aio, fans, ram would make the pc insane at best with fps around 250+, but what's the point of the price. Getting a prebuilt during these times is obviously recommended considering the insane prices you are going to get with graphics card. Overall, temps are insanely high and will reduce the life your entire pc with me reaching like 70-80 degrees on cpu even at low settings and like 70 degrees on gpu. You are only buying this pc for the specs at best, if you do buy it, a recommendation is to upgrade your entire cooling system and ram to 32gb Corsair or Crucial or any other good company (g.Skill, etc). I never head about this company that it came with and it does sound terrible to be honest so ram is a good upgrade. But I think motherboard should be your number 2 as it comes with some micro atx motherboard that is so tiny and has terrible upgrades. IF you aren't fine with spending another $300 on these upgrades, don't buy the pc, it won't be good for you. I think ASUS should have worked on the cooling system and overall case. Again, I didn't make any upgrades or modify the pc, but I can tell from the insides that it was so cramped to add an aio and like 4 more fans. At the end, I returned the pc.
