This is amazing Gaming Monitor! The color quaility is nice, especially with the HDR feature this Monitor has. Its super very easy to adjust the height. The only con with this monitor like most is the built speakers are rather quiet but they still sound very nice. Overall a great Gaming Monitor the picture quaility and repsponse time are amazing, but if the speakers are a deal breaker for you then look elsewhere, otherwise Buy this Monitor it's AMAZING! Realistically 4.9 out of 5 stars only because of the speakers. 5 out of 5 stars for everything else.

This is my second ASUS monitor, from a MG278 27” to this 32” curved it’s a significant upgrade. A bit of slight noticeable performance boost. The very little Product Support from the ASUS-NA_US website is lacking for proper drivers & calibration pushes me to 3rd party forums which are great. The physical base and movement of the panel is normal and what you would expect. Unlike my other ASUS 27” this monitor does not rotate to the vertical position. It does however display HDR well, and the mode for Gaming is definitely where the performance shows it’s value. In NOT a G-Sync but AdaptiveSync FreeSync technology along with the VRR and ELMB perks will need a bit of adjustment out the box but with a little time & effort you’ll find the picture you want for sure with no disappointment

Idk why I went for a 32 in monitor, but I DONT REGRET IT! I love it! Best image quality I have ever experience! Love how big and curved it is! It takes a bit of space because of the stand, but I'm going to end up mounting it to the wall.

This curved Monitor is so nice to have with bright crispy colors. I only wish it had a USB port or a type c port or an auto jack input or output to connect gaming speakers to. I use this monitor for gaming on my ps5 and Xbox series x. It does come with integrated speaker which is a nice feature but it’s hard to get into the setting and adjust. Some setting i can adjust and some i can’t. This monitor would best be used when gaming on pc. You’ll be able to access and change all the settings it has. I wish I could change the settings when i turn on the monitor, but i need to power on my ps5 just to access the setting. That’s one thing that annoys me a lot and even then like i said i can only adjust some setting. My monitor did come faulty, i didn't noticed because at the moment of purchase i only had my ps5. Once i got my xbox series x, that’s when i noticed the hdmi 2 port wasn’t showing anything on display. It was showing “no signal” to find, my monitor would turn on knowing something was connected but wouldn’t show a signal which was a bummer. I would have to keep unplugging my ps5 hdmi with my xbox hdmi, when I wanted to play either ps5 or xbox. This has been my experience with this monitor. Overall i still would recommend it, maybe i wasn’t using it right or I just got a bad one from the batch.

This monitor is amazing!!!! The screen is super bright (it lights up my entire room) and the colors look super deep and makes games look pretty realistic. I'd say the best looking games I've played so far on it was Tiny tina wonderlands, that game just looks wow. I've never had or experienced 1440p so I bought this monitor without knowing anything about it, I did that cause I have a rtx 3090 ti so I knew I could run what anything. But please don't watch 1080p vs 1440p videos on your phone or a 1080p screen cause they don't render in 1440p so you're still viewing it in 1080p. Also it says it's 165hz but there is no 165hz? But to be honest I almost don't care cause of how amazing 1440p hdr, even looking at steam is amazing.

Paired this monitor with a ibuypower gaming pc with Ryzen 5 3600 and a nvidia 2060 gpu. This monitor is perfect for this setup. Absolutely stunning colors and visuals. No dead pixels or screen creases. Packaged well. Long power supply cord with power brick.

First Impressions: With a 32” (really 31.5”) monitor, I expected there to be a little bit of weight, but the box, even though it has handles on either side of it, is a bit hard to move around. The monitor itself only weighs 20 pounds, but it really does feel like so much more than that with the box. The assembly process is easy enough. You simply attached the stand to the monitor body and then connect the appropriate cables. You also have the option of using the VESA mount on the back of the monitor if you would prefer to mount it on the wall or a desk mount. The monitor moves on its stand - up and down, side to side, and tilting back and forth - which is great for adjusting viewing angles. Viewing Quality: The monitor provides a very good level of brightness as well as a higher contrast range and deep blacks. So the visuals that come through are stunning. As for the 165 Hz refresh rate - it’s very useful for gaming as long as the game can support it. In addition to PC gaming, the higher refresh rate makes the monitor an ideal companion for console gaming, too. The Xbox Series X has an output of 120 Hz, so users can definitely take advantage of the advanced specs of this monitor. Because this monitor has a screen resolution of 2560 x 1440, it is not rated as 4K. This isn’t going to be a deal-breaker for most people who just want to use it for gaming, but if you plan to use it for any other media, it could be. Actual Use: I used this monitor in a variety of ways to test it out. When it came to gaming, I didn’t notice any screen tearing, lag, or motion blur. I thought that the colors were vibrant and that the visuals were realistic. I also did some regular productivity-type tasks like work with spreadsheets and answer emails. I found the monitor was perfectly adequate for those things as well, but definitely more suited toward gaming (to really reap the benefits of the technology). I did also watch a movie on this monitor and I was very impressed with how good the picture quality was. If I were going to dedicate this for media streaming though, I would calibrate the colors for that purpose instead of leaving it for gaming. I did also hook up my Xbox Series X to the monitor and was impressed with how good console gaming was on it. Overall: I think this is a very strong gaming monitor that can be used for other uses as well. It’s affordable and really excels at providing a consistent gaming experience for the user. You will want to use a DisplayPort cable to take full advantage of the refresh rate.

I've been using this monitor for my PS5 use and i cant be any happier. The monitor says it plays at 1440 but the PS5 detects it at 4k while running at 120. Just a great monitor and would buy again. A++

What do you look for in a great gaming monitor? Is it the high refresh rate, the super fast response time, color accuracy, or high resolution? I think most gamers wish for all of those, but generally prioritize and pick the ones that are most important to them. Sometimes, it all just depends on the kind of games you plan on playing. FPS gamers generally prioritize refresh rates and response times. RPG and action/adventure gamers usually prioritize the resolution, colors, and overall crispness of the image. The great thing is this monitor doesn’t ask you to choose a couple of these things, you can have them all! ———————— Build Quality - This monitor is beautiful! The build of this 32” monitor is great, exactly what I would come to expect from ASUS. Solid, easy access to all of the ports, and smooth articulation of the stand to maneuver the monitor into a comfortable viewing angle. I love that I can easily tilt, pivot, or swivel the monitor to find that perfect viewing angle. This uses a power brick as opposed to the traditional single power cable. No big deal, many monitors use this setup, and if you have ever used a laptop, it’s the same idea. Buttons are all found on the bottom right rear of the monitor, where I think most expect it to be. I did like that you can’t accidentally power off the monitor. You need to press the power button and then use the little joystick button to toggle it off and then you can power it off. You won’t accidentally power it off the monitor when you are trying to change the angle. ———————— Image Quality - This image is crisp. The 2560 x 1440 resolution makes anything on the monitor look great. Even just sitting on my desktop or browsing the web, this thing is beautiful! Now, obviously websites and desktops is not why you are looking at a gaming monitor. Games look amazing on here. My previous gaming monitor was a 1080p HD monitor so this is a noticeable improvement over that. You get so many image quality features that when combined, make your games look beautiful. The 1ms response time, 165Hz refresh rate, adaptive sync, and ASUS’s Extreme Motion Blur Sync all work together to make sure that no matter how fast you are gaming, your image stays clean and you don’t get tearing. Combine all of that with the WQHD 2560x1440 resolution, HDR, and shadow boost feature and you will really get the most out of your games. The icing on the cake here is that you also get a curved display. I’ve used a few other curved displays that are actually a bit distracting with the severity of the curve. The curve on this monitor is subtle, it doesn’t distract you but immerses you further into your game. ———————— Overall - After playing this for about a week now, I can say it would be difficult to go back to using something at a lower resolution, or something that didn’t support HDR. This monitor has so many features, but in the end the only thing that matters is that it improves your gaming experience and doesn’t get in the way of it. This monitor does just that. High image quality, fast response time, FreeSync, and a slightly curved display, all come together to give you a great experience. After hours playing World of Warcraft, Fortnite, Apex, CoD, Minecraft, Red Dead 2, and GTAV on this monitor I can easily recommend it to anyone looking for a gaming monitor with zero compromises. This is the complete package. It’s such a great experience that two of my sons are already scheming ways that they can ditch their monitors and take over mine.

The VG32VGR from ASUS is a great gaming monitor for those of us on a bit of a tighter budget. It provides a crisp, clear picture and, as you would expect, is an excellent gaming monitor. ASUS didn't skimp on features either as this monitor comes packed with features that allow you to tailor your experience to your personal preferences. There are 7 different picture modes including a very interesting MOBA setting that essentially eliminates every color except for green and red. You can adjust for blue light filtering for longer gaming/work sessions to reduce eye strain which is very important for me as I also use this monitor for work. Worth noting is that some picture modes don't allow certain picture adjustments (sRGB in particular doesn't allow for any customization of brightness, contrast, saturation, color temp, etc.) but most allow extensive adjustment. ELMB Sync does a fantastic job of enhancing motion clarity during gaming and fast moving scenes though it does come at the cost of some brightness. Shadow Boost is an interesting feature that boosts shadow detail to help you find enemies in dark environments faster. The Trace Free setting can also further reduce motion blur though it, like most monitors with similar features, causes a bit of over-scan. The picture looks fantastic and the VA panel can produce deeper blacks than any monitor I've ever used before. Since the monitor is curved there is very little horizontal picture degradation and vertical color accuracy is, to my eye, above average. The screen can be easily adjusted to suit your setup and/or preference. My preferred settings: - Racing Mode, Brightness 70, Contrast 80, Color Temp: Warm, VividPixel 25, Trace Free 0 A few quirky things I've noticed about the monitor that are not at all deal breakers for me: - When HDR is enabled, several picture adjustments become unavailable until HDR is disabled. If you find a setting to not be to your liking, you'll have to disable HDR, adjust the picture accordingly, and then re-enable HDR. A minor annoyance but one that can easily be worked around. - For whatever reason, HDR would significantly increase in contrast and brightness if I adjusted the volume on my PC during gameplay for a few seconds (around 2 seconds or so) but would revert very quickly. This could very well have nothing to do with the monitor itself. - Not an "issue" but worth noting: HDMI limits you to 144Hz at 1440p so you'll need to use DisplayPort to use the monitor to its full 165Hz potential. Overall, this is a fantastic monitor and well worth the money. I have thoroughly enjoyed playing Destiny 2 on this monitor and using it for a work monitor as well. Highly recommended if you need a more budget friendly but very capable monitor.
