HIGH Quality Monitor. Amazing 1440p! PC & Xbox S/X
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing Picture on this Monitor. Works Great with my Xbox Series X & with my Nvidia RTX3070 PC!! Love it!! Loses one star because the Built-In advertised speakers sound like loud headphones coming out of the bottom and barely even enough volume to hear anything, peroid.. And YES I have set the volume to 100% from 50% They should of just not included any speakers at this point, im serious.. Unless I got a defective, New in Sealed Box, ASUS Monitor with BAD speakers I can just say they're 100% useless. The menu could be alittle better considering it has the joystick, but that kind of makes up for it and you can find everything quickly and easily without a manual. Has a native refresh rate of 144HZ. It can be set to 150,155,160,165,& 170HZ in the OC Mode. Can confirm it does work and with V-sync on i see a rise in FPS to match the higher Refresh Rate. Most of the time I just use it at 144HZ though, figure its better for longevity maybe..? Super Clear and Crisp Picture on this Monitor, with great features and tons of options. The Mulitple HDMI Inputs is very useful to me as well. Then again HDMI & DP are both digital so it can be converted with no signal loss or anything like that.. *This will work on a PS5 in 1080p mode, until the 1440p mode is added. Plus it can upscale the image over a regular 1080p native setup. A 4k monitor for a Series X or PS5 is really not worth it unless youre willing to spend the $1kish price tag for a halfway decent spec 4k monitor thats above 60HZ.. Stick with 4k only on a bigger TV.. I would definitely recommend this 1440p Monitor to anyone, works great with AMD(PC or PS5/XSX) or Nvidia with Freesync or G-SYNC.
