This laptop is the best performing laptop I've purchased. It outperforms my last Omen by far. I haven't had any issues with in-game lag, and it renders hefty in-game graphics quickly. I run Adobe CC and it starts-up Photoshop and Lightroom faster than any computer I've had. It's amazing. Battery life is good- you don't have to worry about running out of battery working in Word or other production apps. In-game battery life isn't that good BUT you can get something done quick enough and hangout for a minute. I'd say 45 minutes or maybe a little longer- it depends on resource demands. The great thing about this laptop, in-game on battery, is that it saves resources- the fan runs slow and quiet and the temps stay down. Speaking of temps- ASUS provides great apps for support that allow you to monitor internal temperatures, updates, and even get support. The OLED display is awesome, the visuals will truly amaze you....AI is excellent too. The unit will run hot in-game, but it stays within normal in-game temperatures, and if by chance it reaches above the norm, it cools back down very quickly. The speakers are great! They have a good clear sound. I haven't had any cracking or popping from them. I'm thinking that may be noises produced in-game environments. The speakers are good and clear...I will say this, if you're an HP or Dell user you may need to adjust a little to the keyboard but it's no big deal. Overall, this laptop is excellent in its class.

I am skeptical when it comes to laptops. I am a video and photo editor that moves a lot on the go. In addition I run software like DaVinci and Adobe programs. and this laptop is a champ! I even hook it up via HDMI and there is no lag or display issues. I can not express how much I love this laptop. I also play CSGO on it with other games like Forza and it runs those games flawlessly. Another note the display is crisp, having the OLED screen has made color grading so nice. Additionally, The battery life is fantastic as well, I can work about 7 hours on power saver on and just about 5 hours on performance, it all varies depending on the tasks you are doing. The only downside I will make a note of but is given for being a laptop running a 3050 it does run hot with heavy tasks BUT with correct air flow you rarely notice it honestly, fans are a bit loud when it is cranked all the way but again it is a laptop it is expected that my only complaint but that will be with any laptop, the upside is the fan ducts work amazing to distribute heat. With that being said, I am skeptical of laptops, because you really never know what you are getting. But this laptop is worth the money. I will say that if you are looking for a school computer or something for work. or like myself my business for editing. It is worth buying.

I bought this laptop for college before my first semester. I spent a little extra for the nicer specs so I could play games on it with friends. It definitely doesn’t disappoint. It’ll occasionally get a hiccup or two but after making sure updates are done and my graphic drivers are up to date, it runs great! The main reason I bought this laptop when comparing to others at the store, was the keyboard! Other laptops have an awkward click and bend to them around this price point but this laptop had a nice soft press feel. It for sure caught my attention. I don’t use the touchpad hotkey feature often because I don’t do much photography/videography. However, I’m sure it gets great use from others that do use those programs. Overall, I would recommend this laptop to incoming college students because it’s not just a great workhorse for doing homework and such, but it also can hold when playing games like Call of Duty and Fortnite. 5/5 stars for me!

I recently purchased this computer, and overall, I’m quite satisfied with its performance. It’s fast, responsive, and handles multiple tasks efficiently. The design is sleek, and the battery life is decent for daily use (4-6h). However, I’ve noticed that it tends to heat up more than expected, especially during extended use. Additionally, there are moments when browser tabs freeze for a few seconds, which can be a bit frustrating. Despite these minor issues, it’s a solid computer for the price.

The Asus VivoBook Pro 15 OLED offers stunning OLED visuals, powerful performance with an AMD Ryzen 7 processor, and excellent sound quality with Harman Kardon speakers. Its sleek design, responsive keyboard, and long battery life make it a fantastic all-around laptop for work, entertainment, and daily use. Highly recommended!

Open Box, the factory warranty for my laptop started 8 months before I purchased it, so mine only has 4 months remaining. That's not fair, and I don't recall being told, pre-sale, about that small complication. Lose 3 stars because of the warranty problem, but add back 2 stars because the processor has dozens of cores. Open Box explains why my laptop has 16 GB ram instead of the factory 8 GB. Personally, whomever went through all the trouble of opening the laptop, they might as well have added 32 GB more instead of only another 8 GB. Of course, if another $50 worth of ram were added, Best Buy would raise the price $200. Time to ask Youtube if I can max the ram, myself; we have the technology . The Accidental Geek Squad Protection is too expensive. After using Windows 7 many years ago and just a little 10 recently, I find that being concerned about a huuuge learning curve for 11 was unnecessary. Instead, I think I'll find it very customizable. The ultimate customization will be to eliminate tiles in the Start menu from opening the dreaded Edge browser, or at least get them to open their links in my alternate browser (Opera). After using Windows for 30 years, 11 still does things occasionally that are slightly screwed up. Continual trouble finding the display brightness keys -- F5 and F6, practice, practice, practice. Can't get an emoji menu, even though there's an emoji icon on the F8 key. Artificial Intelligence says the emoji menu can be summoned with Windows Logo + "." but that doesn't do anything. The first owner did something with the audio. The volume on website flash players worked, but the volume controls on F1, F2, and F3 didn't do anything. Clicking around the Sound Mixer straightened that out, so now the keyboard volume controls work, too. Little things like that when you save money on an Open Box. My open box did not include a single piece of paper, which is kinda nice in a way. But, no warranty card, no Quick Start manual, no introduction, no thank you from Asus. No explanation about Nvidia Broadcast or the assorted video options. Power cords were included but messy. No effort was made to repackage the laptop to approach a similar experience to a new item. More expensive than my average purchase, resulted in frustrating taxes of about $50. But that's a problem with Uncle Sam, not Best Buy. Looks like you can get a tan by raising the display brightness. But be nice to your OLED. I usually disable screen savers, but the OLED is susceptible to image-burn-in, so I'll keep the [stunning] screensaver that's been activated. Recommend limiting the battery to charging up to 80%, which is a setting in MyASUS, not in Windows power settings where I'm used to finding it. There is no option for maximum charging levels besides 80% and 100%. I would have chosen 60% if it were available. And the fan should be set to Performance instead of Quiet. Keyboard, if NumLock is active, then there's no Home or End keys. If NumLock is inactive, you have Home and End keys, but no keypad. Of course, the top row has numbers, so maybe I'll start leaving NumLock off unless I'm really doing number keypad stuff. I'll append more opinions after using the laptop for more than 2 days...

Build quality is good, doesn't feel flimsy. Plenty fast. Battery life could be better. OLED display is great. I like the weight, it's not too heavy for the size.

I loved this laptop, its screen is so bright and full of colors that the images it projects feel real. It is very fast for daily tasks such as mail, researching on the web, videos and so far my son has played fornite and runs very very smoothly. The keyboard has LED lights and the battery life is very good

A machine full of the benefits to work in movements, games are very well run by all the games of last generation, I recommend the product because it is one of the few that can be expanded RAM and memory, if I had to buy again I would choose one with higher specifications and the same design. It can be extended to 32 RAM and 4TB of memory.

An amazing laptop with great performance. Can surprisingly handle some higher end games (Overwatch 2, Minecraft w/ shaders, etc.) pretty well. Though, I would recommend playing on a flat surface to allow the fans to properly cool. The OLED makes everything look really crisp, though I would have preferred a laptop without it, as the screen is quite glossy and will reflect your face. But I don’t know if they really make laptops this high end without OLED. I purchased it open box and that was a great decision. Came with a couple of smudges on the exterior but was marked down a ton and had no functional problems. It would have been nice if it came in ANY sort of box, however. But I loved the experience and have been using this laptop for several months (I’m writing a pretty late review, but hey, that’s better, it’s not just my first impressions). My previous laptop was also an ASUS (albeit a much lower end one), and I have fallen in love with the company. ASUS is for sure my go to laptop— way better experience and make than any other laptop, at an affordable price too.

Only 2 normal USB ports kinda sucks, but get a type c adapter to convert the 2 other ports to normal. The display is limited to 60hz, so not great for FPS gaming. However it does run most games well on Medium-High settings smoothly. The colors on the OLED are very rich and easy to see too. I picked this up "open box" for a great price to play games when I travel.

I've been using this computer for about two months and overall, this computer excels in daily tasks and more so can handle excessive workloads if needed. Before this laptop, I bought a zenbook 14 to replace my older asus laptop and ultimately returned it in exchange this which had a bigger form factor and better performance. During the month that I've had it, what sells it is the all-around performance that it brings and how useful most of the features are, things such as having the number pad to the side which makes it easier to use for typing in numbers, or how the OLED screen provides very sharp images for watching tv, and how easy the processors can handle excessive workloads and gaming (as long as the computer is running on the charger). Overall, the laptop brings in strong performance that can be taken with you anywhere you go and it offers great value.

Great computer i picked up for $600 Msrp $1499 has all the bells whistles plus a nvidia 4060. No touch screen. Unbeatable.

Compared what MSI and LG had to offer on OLED monitors and found the Asus W OLED was superior. Once the price dropped by $100 it made it cost effective compared to what LG could offer. Wonderful connectivity options, the stand/support is very stable and takes up little space on my desk. The W OLED screen at 240 Hz and 4k is outstanding, and I bought with my Best Buy membership so I have 60 days to return if needed a Tnd to watch for further price reductions. Thanks Best Buy for the great deal.

The Asus Vivobook 15 OLED is more of a productivity laptop than a "gamer" laptop in a good way. Arriving in low key brown packaging, you receive the laptop itself, a 200w PSU and some basic inserts. The Asus Vivobook is very solidly built. The bottom is plastic but the top is a carbon/metal type material that is very solid and aesthetically pleasing. Like most modern thin and light laptops, it is light and portable yet packs some decent power. Weighing in at 4lbs 4.43oz (5lbs 8.9oz w/ PSU, the Vivobook has a wonderful muted look with zero RGB. It does have a nice backlit keyboard that can be dimmed but the color is a nice, fixed light blue. I really like the professional look and feel of it. Powered by the Intel Ultra 7 155h, what you end up getting is better efficiency and battery life while maintaining decent performance. Cinebench R23 is ~18000 which means while it is a far bit behind the more powerful 13th and 14th gen i9 chips and even AMD's 7945hx chips, but it still gives you the performance of roughly a 13650HX. For my usual day to day uses, it was plenty powerful enough. The Ultra 7 155h actually has the same core count as the top end Ultra 9 185h. It is just clocked slower. With Intel's design of boosting as high as possible to achieve maximum performance, do not be alarmed to see the laptop hitting in the 90s under heavy load and adjusting its clocks accordingly. The Vivobook comes with both integrated and dedicated graphics. Integrated is powered by Intel's fairly new ARC graphics but for better gaming, there is also the dedicated Nvidia RTX 3050. With such new tech included, I am not quite sure why this is paired with a RTX 3050 and not the RTX 4050 at least which has access to newer gaming technologies including frame generation. Playing both Fallout 76 and World of Warcraft Dragonflight (my two main games) I quickly had to dial back the detail settings at 1920x1080p to get decent frame rates which is to be expected with an RTX 3050. I can definitely game but I had to temper my expectations with the settings. Once set properly, performance was more than acceptable. If gaming is a priority for you, you might want to step up to a more powerful model of the Vivobook. 16GB of memory and a 1TB drive will get you by for most day to day tasks, but I can see needing a bit more on both ends for heavier lifting down the road. To complement the muted more professional look, Asus uses "MyAsus" software instead of "Armory Crate" to handle all the needed functionality and I actually prefer the look and feel of it compared to Armory Crate which I've used on their motherboards and other more gamer focused Asus laptops. The real star of the show to me is the OLED display. This is my second laptop using a 15.6" OLED display and when you've used conventional IPS and VA panels for so long, the beauty, clarity and inky dark blacks of an OLED display is pretty impressive. This carries over not only in playing games which look spectacular but also normal productivity use. OLED panels have come a long way but they are still suseptible to burn in. Luckily, Asus does include software to combat this as best as possible. I do a lot of robotics and Raspberry projects so I had the Vivobook on the go and it held up easily for the 5-6 hours I used it unplugged to log real time data and write ups. It connected to the multiple wireless networks while working along with a hotspot. It is so light and small it makes it easy to slip into a backpack or multi-item carrying case pretty easily. I do have a few complaints though. My major complaint is every port except one is on the right side of the unit including the power jack. While I am a lefty, I do use my mouse with my right hand and having the power cable, mouse cable and a few USB devices plugged in turned the right side into a chaotic cabling mess. My other complaint is subjective, but I do wish the keyboard had a bit more travel/feedback for my liking. Overall, outside of a few cons, I very much like the Asus OLED 15 Vivobook and it has officially taken the place of my Acer OLED 15" AMD laptop as my small and light on the go daily driver.

If you are looking for a newly spec’d laptop with plenty of power, a beautiful display and a fairly decent GPU. Then You might want to consider the asus vivobook pro 15. I’ve had several days to see how much better the Intel ultra processor versus a non ultra. And I will start off by saying that I love this laptop. It’s built solid with a premium feeling chassis and a very nice color that seems to be fingerprint resistant, very sleek! If you are a power user then I’d recommend this as this new Intel processor is powerful enough for any task you throw at it. Also great for gaming as well(for the most part) Basically the new meteor lake are new chips with ai processors called neural processing unit which are mainly added in for AI workloads if you need it,same powerful P Cores for demanding workloads and programming and E core that help use way less power than before and it shows in my case, I was able to use my laptop for 2 days with moderate use and I didn’t have to charge. Eventually I plan to get into YouTube and will need to edit videos and I’m sure this laptop will help make things easier and faster for me. If you don’t need the power now, I’d still recommend this unit since the price for what you get is worth it. This laptop comes with 16gb of DDR5 @5600mgz (fast) which is plenty. Also you get a Gen 4 1TB nvme ssd and an Nvidia rtx 3050 6gb gddr6 which isn’t new but this isnt really targeted towards the “gamer” crowds. Moreso aimed towards the power users. But with that said I still tested out a few games just to see and I can not in all good faith recommend this if you are solely looking for a gaming laptop. Unless you like playing basic games like DoTA,Minecraft or games like sports or racing. Even with DLSS it doesn’t perform very well at demanding AAA titles. Just a fair warning. But if you are like me and care moreso about future proofing, design of the laptop and a beautiful screen then I highly recommend. Being that you get an actual 1080p OLED screen that is so vibrant and beautiful to look at, even has only vision. I like to lay in bed and watch movies and tv shows and man this screen is amazing and the perfect size. It should be since this screen was design for video or photo editing in mind. But again you don’t need to be a content creator to buy this laptop. It’s worth it at the retail price. Other notable features are the Dolby speaker which are “Dolby atmos” but it’s hard to tell since I have Dolby atmos soundbars. Tho I will say the audio is clear and loud. You get a webcam that feature windows hello(think faceID). This works very well and is a nice feature to have in stead of typing in your password Everytime. You can close the shudder as well for privacy. Plenty of ports to add mouse and 2 monitors for more productivity. Backlit keyboard is standard white with customizable brightness levels. Runs cool and quiet even under load. Doesn’t burn my legs after longer sessions using it. You really can’t beat this at this price. Really is a great value. Only gripes I have is I wish it was a 120hz screen and touch enabled with some sort of pen support as well. Even if it raises the price ever so slightly. I feel like nowadays, touch screen should be standard and 120hz panels as well. Minor issues but that would have made this laptop perfect in my eyes. Still tho I love asus maybe I’m biased. But they make some great products at fair prices. You can’t go wrong here. Happy shopping and good luck with your purchase.
