NOt compatible with two different providers VoiP
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After 7 different managers and technicians from AT & T UVerse, they figured out that the phone was not compatible with ATT and Vonage. There was a hum in the background of every call. Furthermore, even though it says ATT and on the phone and box, they said they don't manufacture this product. Instead, I am using a commercial grade phone byAAstra and there is no problem. This took months and tons of time to resolve this problem. I returned this phone before the 30 day return policy.

not really what i needed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This phone was purchased for my visually handicapped brother. The blue light illuminating the screen is very difficult for low vision people to use. Also, the caller id numbers are buried in the menu rather than being one touch available. very unsatisfactory for its intended user.

difficult to use
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Difficult to use, poor instructions.I'm not a computer/cell phone geek. That the 14623 and 14564 stores don't carry it in place is a disgrace. IT STINKS.

No.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was the only phone with the headset outlet I needed that was available at the time that I needed it. But the first one I bought had a defective dialpad as well as the second. The 3rd one’s keypad is defective as well but I kept it because I only need it for incoming calls which hasn’t been an issue so far.

Not as advertised
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best Buy on-line description: 2-line operation; caller ID/call waiting; caller ID announce; digital answering system; 3-party conferencing; speakerphone; data port. Stated above is the BB description of a "digital Answering system", the reason I purchased the phone in the first place. I bought it as an all in one system for my mother as a gift a few weeks ago to give today. When setting it up, I poured over the instructions for about an hour trying to figure how to set up the answering machine & there was none. The conversation in trying to return a phone that wasn't as promised was painful. Moral of the story, understand that there is a 15 day window from time of purchase; don't buy gifts unless you're giving them that day & your gift recipient tries out said gift in front of you!

UNUSABLE phone!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.WORST PHONE EVER! If I could have given 0 stars, I would have! First, we bought the now-discontinued ML17928. The line (either one) make a clicking noise and cut out. The phone incorrectly dials numbers, even though the display shows the right number! The phone is UNUSABLE. BestBuy refused to take it back. We contacted AT&T and they refused a refund, so they sent us a replacement, the ML17929. Did the exact same thing. We even tried a different phone from our house in the office and replaced the phone line wires. Did not matter. AT&T tried to say that the clicking was from people talking on speakerphone at the same time. IT WASN'T.

Awful speakerphone quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After using for the phone for an extended period, I can conclude that the speakerphone has terrible quality. I have had multiple instances with a variety of callers who have complained that the speakerphone is clipping the making the speech on my end almost not understandable. Going to the handset solves the problem, which confirms that the speakerphone quality is a major issue. Again, many times and all the time, with different callers. So since I need to use the computer and talk at the same time, this office phone is really useless.
