When I bought these ATT&T cordless phones I thought there wouldn't be a problem. But when set up the phones the first thing I had a problem was the sound, it was too loud. I read the directions and did what it said to do but that didn't work. And when I tried to block a number there was not a way to block a number. I had to return and bought Panasonic Cordless Phones. Not worth the money.

I had to finally write a review because this phone is so annoying. I normally buy Panasonic but the Panasonic seems harder to clean due to the rubberized plastic. I thought this phone would be good because of the big, flat numbers and more of a hard plastic, which it is. That is what I like about it. The features are nice, numbers are a good size for convenience and it stays clean looking. However I had ask for the first one to be replaced within a few weeks, the speaker sound on the handset was crackling and the dialing numbers were sticking. I always put it on speakerphone on the handset when I know I will have a long wait until someone answers or I am doing something else. AT&T provided fantastic customer service and immediately sent me a new phone without even asking for a receipt which I repeatedly offered to provide. The new phone, same model, after again, only a few weeks or so--when I push the handset speaker button to dial, the numbers you press will stick, most of the time. However when it is not on speaker, the numbers do not stick. There are other peculiar defects to it, for example I dial a number and it doesn't connect. I have to hang up, wait a short bit and dial again. No idea why it is doing this. There are other small things that functionally (not feature related) don't work from time to time. I use this phone constantly due to work and need a landline. I wouldn't buy an AT&T cordless phone again. The value is good if it worked and the ease of use is good (features) if it wasn't defective. I'll either try another brand or go back to Panasonic.

AT&T has gone downhill. This phone is defective and only follows a few of the tech commands programmed. For example the ring is loud but when you lower it and even turn it off it's still loud. Doesn't allow turning off. I'm using it pretty much like an answering machine only. It does that well so far. Additionally, it's programmed only for 5 bar sounds higher, so often it's not loud enough depending on whom you are talking to.

I purchase this phone for conference calls in meetings. It doesn't have enough volume for everyone to hear and the person calling in can't hear the speakers in the meeting.

Getting ready to return it. Usually all u have to do w/ phones is plug it in and ur done. No matter what we did we couldn’t get it to work. And by no means was this our first cordless Don’t waste ur money

When I hooked it up I was convinced the connection was bad and that I'd need to call the cable company. I decided to try a different phone first and the difference was night and day. This phone was very staticy on my end. I could hardly understand the caller. The caller said it was vey echoey and they had a hard time understanding me. I have to see if its too late to return. Hope not.

This product had great limitations. It had minimal memory for messages. It took multiple pressing buttons to get to any setting. You could not silence the phone unless a timeframe was given. If the phone rang and you forgot to silence it, you could not silence it while ringing. The handset and the base had separate ways to erase information and that was confusing. The one nice feature was it lite up when a phone call was coming in. I will need to purchase a new phone.

Although I tried diligently to follow the instructions in the Manuel that came with my phone, i was unable to accomplish tasks like setting the ring-tone. Only over time did we discover things like: the pound key doesn't work. We discovered this while trying to call our doctor whose phone instructed us the choose a number from his menu, only for us to discover the pound key didn't work. Also when I called best I was again instructed to hit the pound key.I am willing to accept that my learning curve at 87 years may be at fault but after hours of struggle I must also entertain the conclusion that the product and it's seller also shares blame.

It's junk. No offense to anyone in particular. This phone is of low quality and thus has many functioning issues, poor sound quality, distortion such that you cannot understand the person with whom you are having a call. Buy something else. I have no clue how to use it. The Tech, was good, he did his job, and left, so the phone is there and I have not used it, purchased it, it look good at the store, so, It is complicated for me! I read an I still don't know how to use it. I may have to go to the store for lessons. Oh it looks good, but?

Bought this phone in October and had it only a month and a half and the screen on the receiver quit working and I’m being told it can’t be returned!!! I’ll never buy from Best Buy again!

Phone is great for a older person, clear and ease of use.

Phone doesn't work. I don't know if its the phone or my communication provider. Emergency at home hasn't allowed me to contact my provider of phone service.

Had it for less than 2 weeks and the menu screen went black and no way to get into phone make any adjustments. Very disappointed in this phone. Bought different ATT phone and so far ok.

The phone works fine. That's the only selling point. Well, that and it's price. Programming is not intuitive, and the phone lacks seemingly common-sense features like the ability to clear all Caller ID numbers at once, instead you must manually erase each one individually.

It only receives calls but I cannot dial to call, I have not been able to return it but I will do so as soon as I can. thanks

This is the worst phone I've ever had. It hangs up while you're talking, is totally unintuitive and has absolutely nothing to recommend it. do not buy it.

Terrible phone. Has no blocking feature, Too many issues with this phone to list -- The phone is just awful - don't waste your money. I have to purchase another phone.
