Customers have good things to say about the Pill Portable Wireless Bluetooth Speaker and Portable Charger's sound quality, battery life, and bass. Many appreciate its portability and size, finding it easy to use and aesthetically pleasing. While some find the power button design inconvenient and the speaker a bit heavy, the positive feedback on sound and portability outweighs these minor drawbacks. bumpin beats
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really impressed with this speaker. Incredible bass for it's size and crystal clear with the built in tweeter. Pairs to my iPhone and MacBook Pro extremely quickly, great battery life and the added bonus to charge phone via USB-C. Has some heft to it. Typical solid build quality from Apple. Only downside is powering it on and off is stupidly complicated. You have to hold the power button for just long enough to turn it off, but not too long or it goes into pairing mode. Don't know what they were thinking there but it's not a big deal once you get the hang of it.

Sound is amazing !! Size is perfect !
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The best-sounding speaker I’ve ever owned! It’s crisp, clear, and effortlessly fills a large room. I love the option to connect two speakers for a surround sound experience, making it great for series watching, music, and podcasts. While there are other speakers with better sound quality, this one offers an excellent value for money. It comes in three colors and includes a wrist strap and two small beat stickers. However, one downside is the difficulty some people have turning it on and off. I’ve read that holding the on/off button for exactly two seconds works perfectly for me. Overall, I highly recommend this speaker if you’re looking for an awesome-sounding speaker at an affordable price.

Just works
||Posted . My only gripe is that, to power it off, you need to hold the power button for around two seconds; if you hold it any longer than that, the speaker enters pairing mode. It’s a small problem, but certainly something that could’ve been prevented.

Decent sound, weird controls
|Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall the sound quality of the Pill itself is very nice, definitely not the best sounding speaker I’ve owned but it’s still nice. The main thing that I don’t like is the power on/off button, if you press it too long it launches into pairing mode. If you don’t press it long enough it doesn’t do anything, it’s a weird game of finding the right amount of time to press it to actually turn it off

LOL for this speaker, except the power button
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have lots of love (LOL) for this powerful little speaker except for the power button, but I'll get to that later. First things first - the speaker exudes quality the minute you pull it out of the box. It has a weight and heft to it that is oddly satisfying. I don't know all the technical aspects of a speaker (like tweeter vs woofer, etc) that would give it this feeling, but I like it. You really feel like you're getting your money's worth this thing. The attached lanyard is actually a nice feature with which to carry the speaker around without fear of dropping it (though I think that fear would be unfounded as the rubber surface provides adequate grip vs the metal mesh portion of the speaker). The stuff I like the most about the Pill is the integration with iOS (the cool card slide up when you first pair it) as well as all the options available in the Settings app without having to install a separate app (though there is a separate app of course if you want it). The other thing I really like is lossless audio over USB-C. I didn't think I would be able to tell the difference but when listening to lossless tracks via Apple Music, there was a discernible change in audio quality vs just streaming over Bluetooth. So now the power button. Turning the speaker on is relatively easy enough, but turning it off is not. You have to hold the power button down but time it correctly so that you let go in time to turn it off but not too late which would then put the speaker in pairing mode. Just a bad engineering design decision in my opinion unless someone can tell me why Beats felt like they had to design it that way.
