Does not stay connected to work with MS Teams
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these headphones to use with music and also working from home. I bought these to replace a pair of on the ear beats that I used for the same thing. I’ve had these headphones for just under a year now and they are the worst purchase I’ve ever made. They will not stay connected to my computer even though they say they are. It will work for all of the sound all besides when I try to take or make a work call. Then the sound and headphone mic will not work. It randomly makes the “disconnecting” sound when I’m not doing anything. Basically a huge waste of money I can’t return.

Loved it....until a month and a half in
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sound quality is good, except when there is occasional static in the right ear. In the first month after purchase, I had no issues and loved this headset; however, after about a month and a couple of weeks of use, an annoying, staticky sound started to occur in my right ear. I'm not sure if I received a bad batch; however, since I only use these at home, I wouldn't repurchase them.

Meh and Blah
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Positives: They’re trendy, and the perfect find for the teenager that likes to drown out nagging lol Negatives: Out the package and the noise-cancellation does not work. There is no difference between transparency mode and noise cancellation so there is a defect. I checked online and this is a common issue with this model of headphones (we had an earlier model with no problems). I hate spending the time and energy to return things, so this is EXTREMELY inconvenient. Another negative is the sound continues to play once you remove the headphones. I think I’m spoiled with my earbuds, but I wish they would have a detection, so the sound stops when there’s no ear detected. Bluetooth only connects one device at a time so we can’t connect multiple devices to the headphones. We spent way too much time trying to connect the headphones to two devices, so this was a DISAPPOINTMENT. Lastly, we purchased the chocolate brown, and the new matte finish allows for noticeable fingerprints. I would not recommend buying.

Beware brown headphones peel!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Performance is ok but the quality of the headphones is terrible, I have had these brown ones for 2 months and they are peeling at the headband! I mean from normal use! I rubbed my finger in the area peeling and more came off! Unacceptable cheap quality, not sure about other colors but stay away from brown.

Sound isnt that great. Sonys way better
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Previously had a Sony headset, wanted to try out the Beats. Sound is much more clear and crisp in Sony. Beats disconnect randomly them reconnect. Never had a Bluetooth issue before with Sony. Beats are overrated, these were a gift so cant return. If you have long hair, it will get caught in the ear piece even if it's tied back. Must be the materials texture on the headset. Again never an issue with Sony

Kinda disappointed
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got these headphones for traveling, is my last pair where it beats solo three. To be completely honest besides the kind of OK noise canceling the quality was way better on those somehow. They sound super tinny for some reason and voices can be really shrill and almost painful if you make the volume too high, even if you can’t hear it when it’s too low. Music is decent to listen to, but not mind blowing as almost every single thing for this price point is. Also, the controls are absolutely horrendous and turning them on and off and turning on noise canceling and almost any other function on the headphones is just annoying.

Intentionally Limited Design Choices
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Tighter fit allows for you to enjoy a stable hold when actively moving about. The cousin material is a littler firmer than the best Sony headphones (WF-1000xm5). Sound quality was over all very good. Clear rich bass production and works well with Spatial Audio. I was surprised how well the noise cancelation worked. The way they designed the headphone blocks out more sound than the original Air Pods Pro (1) ~ previous competitive standard for great NC. The headphones come with a carrying case and folds up nicely. The insolation on the band going over the head is not squishy. Good battery life and changing modes is easy. Draw Backs with the design. - What I Don't Like. For the original price over $300 these headphones lack a premium feel. Audio technology. If you are using an Apple device and these headphone you are limited to AAC bluetooth codec. It's a better than standard SBC. However, LDAC from Sony will provide the ability to stream closer to HiFi resolution via an Android device that support LDAC BT Audio with a LDAC support headphone. Apples/Beats solution, providing you with lossless audio quality when you connect these headphone a USB-C cable to an I-phone. ~ kinda defeats the purpose of buying a wireless headphone.. Another bad experience I should mention, The ear cups pivot land on your ears flush and I've had my long hair get caught in them every time my hair was down and it's a pain to get out! Apple intentionally does not allow for audio switching from multiple apple devices with these "Pro" headphone to handicap them so you will consider the Much More Expensive Antiquated Air Pod Max. Step your game up Apple, not your Price! Don't Waist Your Money paying full price. Buy when heavily discounted if you really like them $160 - $180.

Avoid - Better Options for the Price
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought a pair of Sony WH-XB900N's in 2021 here on BBY and was curious to Hear the new technology that may be out there. I chose these Beats Studio Pro. In 2021 I spent $199 on my Sony's. I spent $299 on these Beats on "sale" from $349. I really am puzzled as to why these things get such great user reviews here on BBY. For the price, comfort, and quality of sound, I've seen better options for one third the price of these... like the JBL's on this site. I use these headphones (and my Sony's) primarily for watching movies/TV using my iPhone & Roku app (Bluetooth) and occasionally on my PC via Bluetooth. Let's start with the GOOD: The noise canceling on these Beats are outstanding. Actually, in a side-by-side comparison, the Beats have better noise cancellation than my Sony's. I also like the actual volume up/down buttons versus the touch/haptics on my Sony's. Other than that, after 3 weeks of using these, I'm finding little good to say about these very expensive headphones. In a comparison with my less expensive, 3-year-old Sony's, here's what I DO NOT LIKE: > The bass isn't there. Sony wins easily. > The sound isn't as crisp or full spectrum - seems kind of shallow, one-dimensional > The lack of a phone app and/or equalizer is inexcusable. In order to have access to EQ functions, you must wear these corded to your PC via USB-C (I've failed to connect to my iPhone using a cable). Therefore, you have no way to adjust the levels of your audio. > Less comfortable on the ears and head than the Sony. Full disclosure, I do have a large head. But even the ear cushioning isn't as comfy as Sony. > They seem too plasticy for me. While the build quality is good, I think they could be a lot better, especially at this price. Also, while I do like the actualy volume up/down buttons vs the touch haptics of my Sony, the buttons also seem too cheap/clicky. These would be great headphones priced at $99. These are not worth $299. If I could return them, I would. But I misplaced the original packaging. I'll give them to my kid instead. In summary, these are great headphones if you can find them new for $99. At the $299 price, there are many other better options on Best Buy.

Sound cancellation does not work
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought beats studio 3 a few years ago and loved them, never had an issue and loved the sound cancellation they provided. For Christmas I bought these headphones as a present for my partner and they worked great except that the sound cancellation did not work. I was bummed out since I bought them new (not refurbished) and they are a pricier pair of headphones. Besides that, they work fine, battery life is great and sound quality is good.

Great looks, good sound, quality of life issues
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these headphones because they were on sale and I know that Apple made them. They are sleek and stylish, and I appreciate their low profile. Make no mistake that these sound good! At lower listening levels both of the units I purchased had sound artifacts in the right ear. Seems to be a design flaw. Also be aware that if you're going to wear these outside they have a very bad wind canceling algorithm, so all of that wind is going straight into your ears through the ANC system. If it's very windy for long enough they will switch over into a wind suppression mode, but if the wind dies down for more than 5 seconds it reverts back, and ultimately ruins the listening experience. And speaking of the listening experience, you probably won't want to wear these longer than 45 minutes to an hour because the ear cups are constantly contacting your ears. It might not sound like an issue and you may not find it irritating at first, but I promise you it will hurt if you keep them on long enough.

Beats Listen Closely.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At FIRST, these headphones were really the best thing that happened to me like the bass was amazing and I just love how they fit on my head and all. But, as the months went on, they started to get more and more weak. Therefore, if you’re a clumsy person, I wouldn’t suggest you buy these. They are very short term headphones. If you want some headphones, that will last you a long time, don’t buy these. Beats, do better with your flippin product because it hasn’t even been a full year since I had these.

Middling performance, disappointing ANC
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have used a refurbished Sony WH1000XM4 for several years, primarily on work trips. As a headphone user for years, it was time for a change. I saw the Beats Studio Pro at a great price at Best Buy. I liked gaining Spatial Audio plus direct USB-C audio input as someone with an Apple One subscription. I got the Black and gold color scheme, which looked modern and sleek. The overall sound quality is middling. The bass was decent but not overpowering. As a reference, I previously owned Beats Powerbeats 4 and Beats Studio3. The Noise Cancelling feature effect for me was low. There also seemed to be some asymmetric white noise, mainly on the R side, when there was little background noise. Noise-canceling was a significant factor for me, and I tested it in a hotel and, when I got home, in a bathroom with the fan on. I could hear the fan clearly, which did not occur when I used my several-year-old Airpod Pro 2. I went to the Apple store and recreated the problem with a Specialist, who then sent it to Apple as part of a warranty service. Apple/Beats returned it, indicating that it was normally working. Sony, in my opinion, has the best Active Noise Canceling, and having trialed the latest Bose Ultra QuietComfort, I stand by that.

Constant Static Noise
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sound quality is pretty decent and the battery life seems OK. There is a constant static sound in the right ear when using the Transparency and Noise Cancellation mode. For the price tag I would expect these to work without issue but that hasn't been my experience. I'm past the return window so I guess I'll see if these are covered by warranty now.

Bass Was Terrible
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased these and ended up returning them 48hrs later. In terms of the noise cancellation they were good though the quality of sounds was horrible. My old Solo 3’s have a better quality of sound than these. They are aesthetically pleasing but not good headphones for my needs. Decided to buy Air Pod Max instead.

Beats Headphones
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these for myself after getting a pair for my daughter and son last year. My daughter enjoys hers but has mentioned that when using the phone, she struggles to hear the other person clearly. I’ve encountered the same issue with my pair. I've only used them a couple of times, but now they won't connect to my phone at all. I'm not sure what's causing this, but I will likely return them since I can't get them to connect. When they did work, the sound quality was fantastic when listening to music only.
