Won't charge through thick cases

It would start charging, then stop. I have a z fold and the case has a card pocket on the back which is important to me, more important than wireless charging, so I guess its back to charging my phone the old-fashioned way! Of note, I gave the charger to a friend who's case is very minimal, and it charges his phone just fine.

The behavior of the charging pas is far from expected. It is designed to deliver fast and wireless charging power of up to 15W. If using a phone case, make sure not to exceed the 3mm thickness, or try using another compatible phone for isolation.
