Light weight, easy to use, picks up water very well, leaving floor clean and dry. A little bit of work to take apart and put back together, but we have it down pat now.

    Excellent vacuum, requires routine maintenance

Very happy with the overall performance of the vacuum regarding how it functions. It easily handles around 1200sq ft of hardwood and carpet/rugs. I appreciate the ability to soak or use water with the vacuum without the need for changing accessories. That being said... I am not at all impressed with the routine maintenance of this device after every use... mind you this devices advertises as excellent for pet owners. It gets filthy easily, especially if water is used. When emptying the debris and water from the same container, it is impossible to remove all of the debris without rinsing parts and pieces. For the type of person that hates touching wet debris and hair soaked in black water, this isnt for you. If you're not patient and careful in this process, you will quickly be filling your pipes with hair and vacuum debris. We take our time to avoid this though itd be great if more consideration for this was considered in the build. Much of this would be avoided if the water could be deposited into another compartment or filtered more effectively. This is inefficiently accomplished with a plastic filter that is included (we had to exchange our first unit because it was missing from the first). Again, another part to get dirty and ultimately need to be rinsed after every use. It does not seal itself to the container, so you're guaranteed to have some debris and pipe clogging hair get into the water and need to be strained. Looking past all the parts that need to be cleaned, now they need to dry. This means considering a place to air dry a half dozen vacuum parts to avoid trapping water. With all of this effort, there are dozens of areas where hair becomes tangled or compacted that must be removed by hand. Fully expect to disassemble and clean multiple parts every time you use this vacuum with water, though it should be cleaned with each use to avoid a loss in performance. All this tedious maintenance aside, the vacuum performs extremely well. It lifts dog hair and floor debris with ease from our rugs and hardwood. In our carpeted room we are very happy with the performance there as well, though it is obvious it performs better on rugs and hard floors. Much of this also comes at the cost of not using or purchasing a mop and carpet cleaner. So, 3 total devices or an all in one that needs to be maintained, pick your poison. Ultimately a 5/5 for performance and a 3/5 for design, maybe a 2.7 if you consider all the maintenance required to protect your investment. This device would be unrivaled if they reduced the number of pieces and while improving the actions required to clean the unit post use.

Works good on area rugs for light traffic areas and minor vacuuming. Cons - roller brush needs to be Changed after about two uses. Large Pet hair clogs easily. Pros: easy to take apart and clean, not very heavy and easy to carry. This is not worth the money considering this is their top of the line model, if it was $150 less it would be a fair deal.

I am so happy that I purchased the Bissell Crosswave Pet Pro! I have tile floors and with three cats and one dog, there are always bits and pieces of whatever on my floors. It does the nicest job. I also have a few low pile area rugs that I am able to spot clean as necessary with the press of a switch. The product is a little pricey but honestly, now that I have it, I can see why. The machine is light weight, really easy to clean, comes with all the things you need and is really snazzy looking!

I was going back and forth between this & the cordless one, I’ve heard good things about both. In the end I decided on this model. It’s specifically for pets and the cordless only runs for 30 mins. Once I start I keep going through every room so that’s not good for me! Being quarantined meant one thing - clean out the house!! Not working and I had to do something. 2 rooms were for storage and haven’t been stepped in for years. These did the floors amazing - I was so impressed and so glad I made this purchase!! It picks up the dog hair and cleans so well... I’m always in awe when I see the dirty water at how good it is. I took a napkin to wipe the floor after to see how well it did and it picked up nothing!! My old floors look so clean and shiny!! It’s fun to use also and simple to use! I have hardwood & tile no carpet but I recommend for throw rugs!! I tell my mother how great it is and now she’s getting one also!! If your going back and forth and want something that’s easy and actually fun - or your sick of wringing out dirty mops - but it!! People love them so much there’s a Facebook group for us!!! You won’t regret it I promise!

I have no real comparison as this is the first time I have purchased any sort of carpet cleaner. I liked this one for the versatility of its ability to do multiple surfaces as well as deal with pets. Before I have used the rental machines at the local big chain store, but again this is nothing like those sorts of machines. Out of the box, it is easy to put together and takes maybe a few minutes. It comes with two brushes and a tray to rest the machine in while it dries (see picture). So because it is smaller, this is definitely for smaller jobs or areas. I think it would be ideal for an apartment or a smaller house. Personally I have used it mostly on the carpeted area of my home, but it worked equaly well on hardwood. I didn’t use it too much on the hardwood, because I was not sure how it would work or if it would cause damage. So I was careful and made sure to wipe up I any excess water to make sure it was okay. I did not have any issues, but then again I was again very careful. I did not try it on my area rug, because I am very particular the rug. The roller brush is really well made and functions very well. It has rough brushes and smooth brushes all combined that work well on the various surfaces you use them on. The rough parts of the brush really grab up any hair on the ground. Really well in fact. You can use this as a floor cleaner or as a floor cleaner and a vacuum at the same time. So basically you clean and vacuum at the same time. The vacuum is okay, I prefer to use a stronger vacuum to go over the surface first. So it comes with a few small sample bottles of cleaning solution. A little goes a long ways, and the smell is pleasant. It also cleans well and I did not notice any residue or shampoo left on the carpeted area. It has two compartments, one for putting the solution in, and one for emptying the dirty solution. Simple and straight forward. So, again this is a small job small area machine, but it does that much very well. It is fairly small and stores easily in the closet. The drip tray allows for easy worry free clean up afterwards. I recommend this to anyone that needs a good spot or small area cleaning device. For that I think it will be a good work horse.

I have wanted this Crosswave for a few months now. Been researching and seeing if it would be as good as I needed it to be for that price. I have 2 big dogs - a ton of my people in and out of my house all day, every day. It came the next day! Free shipping - I actually couldn't believe how well it cleaned my floors. Unfortunately, I didn't take a before and after picture, but normally, my rag would be BLACK when I would get done cleaning! - I washed on my hands and knees, and I no longer wanted to do that. It catches the hair or anything, and you can throw it away and the rest down the toilet. Self-cleaning of the brush and an extra one! I am looking to see how long the brush rolls last. - My floors haven't looked soo good in a long time.

This is the best thing since sliced Bread! It cleans really well and I would have gave it more stars but it does have some issues! It is really Loud! Cord isn't long enough and if you have hand scraped floors you Cannot go " crossways " on them without leaving line marks! It does Vacuum everything in its path well! You can mix your own cleaning solutions as long as they are not foamy! The led lights are just okay they could be much brighter! It is Very lightweight and swivels really well. It also cleans/rinses itself off when placed in the tray! It does a good job! Make sure you are standing by the trash can when you go to dump it, because the little basket separates the debris, makes a mess since contents are wet! All parts are washable and its a really nice for what it does! I LOVE it especially having dogs it's easy to use and cleans very well. The price is on the higher end IMO, now they have a cordless I want instead! So I would save my money for the next model up! You get more for your money!

Ok first let me say that I have tried MANY floor cleaning products from steam mops to hard floor cleaners, roombas, dyson, you name it. I have a whole house of laminate and tile and 3 cats and a 100lb Labrador. I am always cleaning up something. Okay.... First things first. This mop/vac is awesome. I mean it. I read the reviews and was thinking ehh it's probably all hype and this thing is super pricey. I decided to try it and was fully expecting to return it if it was not worth the price. My house is mainly white tile with white grout and laminate. One of my pets is always puking. My cat actually puked some kind of brown hairball liquid all over the tile and it dried on. Normally I would have to soak it with cleaner, let it sit and then scrub it. I decided to try this machine on it. Shut the front door! This thing removed dried on cat puke and it removed it from the grout also! I didn't have to touch any of it. I was SOLD right there!! I used the area rug setting and made like 3-4 passes over the puke and it was all gone. Even the grout was clean. Amazing. Reminder: The puke was DRIED on. I also used it just for normal cleaning and it works so good. I had some serious hair on the floor and paw prints, etc. This got my floors clean with no streaks. You do have to go slower than you would with a vacuum but I think cutting out the extra steps equals it out. I had to fill it and empty it 3 times to do my whole floor area. I can tell this gets into the grout and cleans minor dirt. If you haven't cleaned your grout in 20 years I don't know what it will do. My grout is clean but an occasional smear or spill this mop will clean it. I use this strictly on the hard floors. I have some area rugs and I use my dyson on those. I have no interest in getting my rugs wet so this review is mainly just for hard floors. The pet version has a hair catcher in the dirty water cup. I believe that is the difference from the regular crosswave model. The catcher is helpful to me that I can throw the hair/ large debris in the trash and dump the dirty water in the sink. I'm glad I got this model. Overall to me this is worth the money. I fact that I can clean up pet vomit without touching it was the best part for me. And it actually works and does a good job. The cleaner is good and leaves my floors clean and without streaks. It has a light smell. I actually bought more I liked it so much. I would totally recommend this thing and I do not like to pay this much usually but you would have to pry it from my dead hands now!!! Great product!!!

Lightweight easy to carry to 2nd story. Effective, does an excellent job vacuuming and moping. I use it on medium shag carpet to clean up after my toddlers. It has a protective barrier in case any small push pins or playground rocks get stuck. Its easy to clean up. Leaves carpet clean.

I saw the commercial for this, was a little apprehensive but figured what the heck. A little on the expensive side BUT it works as advertised! I have 2 puppies and they have the occasional accident not to mention the shedding. Whether it's on the hardwood floors, carpeted rooms or the area rugs...this machine WORKS! My wife loves it because it is light, easy to use, and very convenient. You won't regret buying this.

Let me start by saying my whole house is tile. I hate sweeping and moping. It takes hours. This is so much better than sweeping and moping. It takes about an hour instead of hours to do the whole house. It does a much better job than a swifter, and sucks up dirt while it goes. It may not get into deeper grout like a mop will, but it does a great job still. I would recommend it for hard floors. It’s easy to set up and clean up after. While you can’t leave it set up for grab and go cleaning, it has to dry between uses. It takes about 2 minutes to put it together and fill the reservoir.

This cleaner is awesome! We have three kitties and lots of hairballs which this thing makes quick work of. We also use it on all of our laminate floors for regular cleaning and vacuuming. Cleanup is a breeze and its ready to go for the next kitty mess. We have only had it for a few weeks, but if it holds up for a few years it is well worth it. We highly recommend this item.

It's a really good cleaning tool. Was missing a bottle of solution, they gave me a credit for the discrepancy. Only annoying part is, I probably spend more time taking it apart and cleaning it then I do actually cleaning the floors. Sometimes I almost prefer just to use elbow grease and some towels cause I can just toss those in the laundry and not take apart several pieces to make sure they don't get nasty. But it does work well.

Buy the best buy additional warranty . I had the regular crosswave and after a years and a half it quit working, luckily i had bought the best buy additional warranty in which I returned it to best buy and they told me to go get a new one off shelf and I upgraded to the pet pro which was $50 higher in price. If i had just went with the original manufacturer warranty i would of had to take it to a repair shop. I don't see much difference in them. I do like it came with 2 brush rolls. I did get $27 credit back on my original warranty which went on the purchase price and bought the additional warranty for the new crosswave. I do love the crosswave and it is easy to clean and you can use it for small rooms full of carpet or rugs for light surface cleaning- its not a rug DR but cleans surface up and carpets look and smell clean. You may need to take a rag around the edges if soiled it doesn't edge clean about an inch or so out so well. I think its a great machine and do not regret my purchase. I have a dyson and a rug DR because I have 6 small dogs in the house , rarely do I need to take them out anymore but do on occasion for deep cleaning. This saves me a lot of time because it vacuums and can shampoo at same time. I use just any cleaner such as Lysol multi surface cleaner in the water tank and it cleans everything real well so that's a better buy than the official multi surface Bissell formula and have had no problems.

At certain times of the year my backyard gets muddy and with two dogs going in and out of the house throughout the day my wood floors get very dirty. Using the Bona floor cleaner just spreads the dirt around and doesn't really get the floors clean. This machine actually gets the dirt off the floor. If they are really dirty then it takes a couple of times to get the floors back to their clean state. Using a mop and water uses too much water (very bad for wood floors) and steamers are out of the question unless you want to ruin your floors so I instead use the CrossWave Pet. It strikes a great balance between Bona type floor cleaners and Mops. The trick is to go slow if the floors are very dirty else I just run it quick like a vacuum for touch ups. Pretty easy maintenance ans easy to use. I highly recommend it.
