DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!! If only I could give 0 stars. This product is TERRIBLE. It works fine I'm sure, like any other A-V, but the products produces very annoying large pop-ups on the computer screen every minute or so, which are useless, just notifying one that BitDefender is doing it's damned job! See screenshot images attached below. Utterly annoying, distracting, useless information. Customer service is TERRIBLE, incompetent and rude. Please research yourself and see reviews online (such as "BitDefender problems" or "turn off BitDefender notifications". Returned after 3 days of complete frustration and bought WEBROOT INTERNET SECURITY PLUS + ANTIVIRUS instead. The Webroot is perfect.

OMG, so darn slow for Daily & or all Bitdefender Security Updates & I mean SLOW! It's literally driving me crazy seeing & dealing with this every day at these continuing SLOW crawl Speeds which are not improving. Bitdefender Security Products are one of the slowest Security Products to update their Products & Daily Virus Definition Updates. It takes 9 Minutes or longer at times with my Wired 400+ Mbps Broadband Internet Connection to let & get my Bitdefender Total Security 2024 to update & complete its Daily Security & Product Updates from the Bitdefender Security Servers. This kind of dreadful, SLOW Updates from a very popular Security Product is just lame & really needs to be worked on & greatly improved here soon or in the near future of all of their Security Products. No other Internet Security Software out there that I have purchased or used on my Desktop Computer in the past has been Bitdefender most definitely needs to focus & work on improving & making their Daily Security & Product Updates and Update Servers respond & work better & faster than they are now... I feel like their Updates are in Turtle Mode or slower! This terribly SLOW at Daily Updating... Also, Bitdefender Total Security has been taking & using a lot of my Computers System Resources heavily at times too & making my Computer slow to boot & startup which is also a concern and a annoyance. I am not so sure that I will purchase & take on another Bitdefender Product for these noticeable & noted reasons that I am experiencing & dealing with Daily?

I wish I could give it 0 stars. The first problem is Best Buy only giving you 24 hours to download the product. i downloaded it to my phone thinking I had time to download to my other devices. Wrong. After the 24 hours expire, you have to go to Bitdefender website to download. I've been trying to download for 4 days and the website signs in and immediately signs you back out. Their customer service is useless. You explain what is happening and they keep responding, "We need a little more information from you!" Total waste of money.

I previously used another well know antivirus with VPN but switched to the Bitdefender Total Security to save money. While the online reviews about this product I read prior to purchase are generally good, I find that the my prior software was better. At the time of purchase I was not aware that this product only provides 200 MB of VPN. A notification prompts the user with an offer to pay extra to extend the service. The 200 MB will start immediately on the computer startup and continue whether you are online or not making it virtually useless. I assume that the only way around this is to manually initiate the VPN. Bummer!!! The product is not very user friendly. I am unclear if updates will be provided. If I could get a refund I would request it. I will go back to my prior software once this subscription ends or earlier.

I have been using webroot for the past few years and this year I read online that bitdefender performed better than webroot so I decided to get bitdefender instead of webroot. I totally hate it. It takes so long for my computer to load now when I turn on the computer and even when I try to go online it takes forever. Awful.

For some reason, I cannot get this to work on my new computer, perhaps because it had Windows 11 installed when it came.

i accidentally bought this product and i was trying to cancel this order immediately by chat and phone call. however, i could not do it and it was the waste of my time. the lesson i learned today is that i had to be prudent when i do shopping in best-buy. i should look for alternative areas for better experience in holiday shopping.

Garbage! This software forces my computer to show file extensions, even when I choose the option to hide them. Contacted Bitdefender support and they did NOTHING fix this design flaw. They also refused to process a refund. Will neve purchase another Bitdefender product. Buyer beware.

Product did not work properly after first. When program launched second time, my license, that had been a one year purchase, had expired. When contacted Bitdefender said problem needed to be addressed with Best Buy and Best Buy would not help until after taking me over two hours on the phone to get a refund.

impossible to activate, but even if they never send an email where to communicate if it is not activated, it takes me several days in the attempt and nothing so far does not activate always says the same does not serve the code, do not throw your money this does not work.

I purchased Bit Defender from BB online to replace the existing expired security on my computer. Very odd that after I installed the software, my computer was hacked and after several days I ditched the software and my old computer

Download did not work. Never received the required activation code. Contacted customer service twice via chat without resolution. This is day three without a solution

This severely slowed down my pc. 16bg ram, and it swallowed more than half...

I dont recommend this product it made my computer feel as if it was hacked by running extremely slow on a computer that normally runs very fast.

Trash software, 0/5 do not recommend. I've had subscriptions since 2017 but will not be renewing anymore. Bitdefender was great 4 or 5 years ago when it was purely security software that ran scheduled virus scans on your computer; they were a reasonable premium on top of Windows' built-in security features because Windows 10 still had a lot of holes back then. Now Bitdefender is more Norton-esque in how annoying their advertisements (I know you can turn them off) and notifications are. They'll even stop you from connecting to public wifi networks (like at an airport, for example), and spam you with notifications about unsafe connections until you go through the clicks to actually turn Bitdefender off. And when I say spam, I mean notifications every 10 seconds that pull focus from whatever window you have open and are actually using, so you have to actually click back into whatever you were working on. Yeah, bro, I know that public airport wifi isn't the most secure connection in the world, but I still need it at the moment. And you can just close whatever you think is causing the notifications and they'll stop, right? No, the backlog of notifications continues popping up for the next 10 minutes. At some point, the company stopped worrying as much about security and more about seeming useful and selling you other products. They must have a very large marketing budget because there's nothing but glowing reviews (that they probably paid for) on tech websites if you search their name. I use to have Bitdefender on my old PC and laptop until I built a new PC. I forgot to install Bitdefender on it...but haven't missed it.

I ordered this on Feb 19 and went to pick it up a few days later because it never gave me a date. I spoke to the manager, who told me this item was never staged because they don't sell it in-store or online for the Flint Store. Why would I be able to purchase it? The manager said he would cancel it, and I would get a refund. I'm still waiting for the money to be returned to my account.

Please don't buy this product. It slows your whole PC down. Terrible
