Unsure. Not bad, not great
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m a bit on the fence on Bitkey. I do like the concept, but I believe it could be done better. Also, I had a bit of trouble getting the Bitkey to be found by my phone. Took a while and many tries holding it to the back of my phone. I will say it’s incredibly well built.

Great for Bitcoin
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In this world where you try to be as secure with everything from your personal information to your financial data, having a way to make sure your crypto is secure is a good idea. The concept for the wallet is good but it does have some drawbacks. If you have more crypto that Bitcoin they you are out of luck. At least I haven't found a way to add anything other than Bitcoin. Unfortunately I'm out of luck for all the others for now at least. Getting started was also a bit, no pun intended, more confusing that need be. This device is paired to your mobile device through NFC. Took me a bit to realize that the near part of NFC meant really really near like with a fraction of an inch. This also means that if you change devices you will be going through the setup again so don't lose the instructions. The fingerprint setup was easy so that's a good thing. One thing to note, make sure you charge the wallet before you get started. There are a lot of very hand features for buying and transferring Bitcoin. You do have to use iCloud backup (at least on my Apple device, Android may have other options) and there was not another option. Time will tell if this is a necessary item but the concept seems valid.
