So far Bob has been doing a great job cleaning our floors. He seems to do well on carpet, laminate, and tile. He does great keeping up with our shedding pets. The mapping is fantastic! As is the ability to mark areas Bob needs to avoid. However, he seems to do a good job at gently avoiding obstacles. We have another robot vacuum, a basic model, that seems to bang into things a lot and easily gets confused about where her charger is. Not Bob, he does his job and goes right to the charger when he’s done. The option to clean either a section or one room is great. I can tell him to go clean a room and then go do something else without babysitting him. Our other robot has been put into the one room we have with a step down into it, so she can’t get lost or confused. Meanwhile, Bob has run of the rest of the house. He can be set to full power or with low power mode he saves energy and can clean more. We’re very happy with his battery life and other benefit is that he comes with a 2 year warranty. We got Bob on a daily deal for a great price!

Apologies in advance for the long review! I just want y’all to have the full picture because these things are expensive, but they are worth the money! And so there’s no confusion, this review is not sponsored. I spent my own money, so I’m obligated to tell the truth, lol. Backstory: I purchased my first Bobsweep in 2020. It was the kind that you could operate manually with a remote. It wasn’t capable of using an app. I liked it, it vacuumed well, but I felt like I had to monitor it and most of the time I followed it around the room maneuvering it like a race car. If I let it go on its own, it just seemed to roam around in the same places and get stuck on things. So I liked it but… eh. I felt like it would take less effort and for me to just vacuum myself. Current product: I bought my mom a Bobsweep Phoenix in December of 2023. She has limited mobility and breathing issues so her space needs to be clean and dust free without the hassle and fall risk associated with vacuuming and the gaming thumbs needed for the first version of Bob with the remote. Functionality: What a big difference from the 2020 version. First, I loved that this version connects to an app so you can send it from room to room. You can separate rooms, label them, and draw no-sweep zones. When you first start it, Bob has to map out the house. Even if it doesn’t recognize a space as a “room,” it’ll still show up on the map and you can send Bob to sweep there by doing spot clean instead of room clean. [For the bedrooms in the back, it took about three times of vacuuming the space before I was able to label it as a room. If you’ll look at the pics, one of the bedrooms still has not registered to be a room, but I use the spot clean feature and cover the whole space and Bob vacuums there with no issue.] Phoenix changes seamlessly from tile/laminate to carpet. It even vacuums on the slant where the carpet and tile meet. This phoenix barely gets stuck on anything. Since I’ve had it, it’s only gotten stuck three times, each was because the suction was so strong it picked up a charger cord or something similar that got wrapped around the main brush, but it was easy to pull off. I also like that it shows how long Bob spends vacuuming each room because if someone mentions they’re coming over and I want to freshen things up, I know how much time I have to send the crumb goblin (Bob) before my guest arrives! In the unfortunate event that someone would be waiting at my house for me, I can send Bob to do his rounds, regardless of where I am, as long as Bob is connected to the WiFi- and indeed he stays on the ready. Customer service: Shout out to Carlo, a rep for Bobsweep. He is very knowledgeable and courteous. He even sent a follow up to ask how the new Bob is working. I’m not sure if that’s company policy or if Carlo is just above and beyond, but either way I’m appreciative. Great customer service should be commonplace, but unfortunately, it’s a luxury in 2024. Take away: OMG. We both feel like the house is always clean. Even if there are things out of place, a clean floor still makes the place look tidy. In terms of air quality, the air in our home feels so light and crispy. Normally, pollen season has us walking around looking like balls of mucus, but after running the bob more regularly, it really hasn’t been an issue. Who knew EVERYTHING settled onto the floor? I’m embarrassed to say I didn’t lol. I’m honestly shocked sometimes when I empty the dustbin because no way were we walking around on all that?? The best part is I can send Bob out to do his thing while I lay in the bed with the covers up to my chin and rub my feet together. I usually go to sleep right after I set him to go out because he’s not really loud and returns to the charging dock when he finishes the job. I love not having to monitor his every move, but if you’re into that, you can watch on the map and see Bob move across the floor in real time. If you look close enough, you can see the outline of your funiture/parts of the floor that Bob is unable to get to. It’s quite cool. After seeing how efficient the Phoenix worked at my mom’s place, I felt obligated to reward myself with the Bobsweep Phoenix for my own apartment. Highly recommended! [P.S any spots you see on the kitchen floor are scuffs, not dirt. bOb gets every scrap]

I have been using the Austin Robot for about 4 or 5 weeks now and it is doing a surprisingly good job of picking up the pet hair around my place. I have been filling the dust bin packed full each time I have run it. I may have to consider running it twice a week. I have mostly carpet and it seems to be handling it fine. One thing I wanted to note was that I have a couple of clear glass vases that the Austin has to go around. The bumper is very sensitive and barley (if any) will move the vase. It was awesome just how gentle it worked around the vases. I was surprised that this didn’t give it some trouble, but it doesn’t seem to bother it at all. It generally takes just under an hour and the batteries have always been above 50% when done. I do have some hard wood floors and that is where I have the charge base. The one and only complaint I have is that the charge base is not heavy enough to keep it from moving when it tries to dock. That makes it hard for it to dock and charge on its own. I have the dock against the wall as instructed in the manual but if it doesn’t hit it just perfect, it will slide the base to the side. I have remedied this by putting a lead weight on top of the charge base to help keep it from moving and it works fine like that. I hope there is some good information for you to use. I like the product very well.

Bobsweep has been the best robotic vacuum for me, by far. I don’t have to worry about pet hair collecting in the corner and not being picked up because bObsweep doesn’t miss anything. It was super easy to program to clean rooms on a set schedule. The fact that it returns to the charger when the job is complete or the collection cup is full is great. It also moves from carpet to hardwood to tile floors with ease!

Works great! It doesn't get stuck under things as often as my previous robot vacuum did. Covers the area well and picks up a lot of dirt and pet hair. Battery life is great and Austin always makes it back to the base. Purchased on Deal of the Day sale.

This is my first robot and I am very pleased with this product. It worked extremely well right out of the box. Easy and fast set up. I have mostly tile floors with large grout lines and it worked without any problems. I even vacuumed with my old upright just before I ran my Austin and the Austin still filled its collection bin with everything my upright missed. It goes under beds and furniture and tackles the entire house. It even pulled stuff out from under baseboards. Gets edges my upright didnt and doesn't leave marks on baseboards like my upright would. What a great solution to keep up with our dog Max's shedding. The app controls everything, and before you know it, it's back in its base after doing its sweep. Emptying the bin is easy, and it's ready for next time. Love the color, and Max isn't afraid of it. I can trust bObsweep to leave our floors shiny clean !!

I was informed that this would be an addutuon to the family. A time saver, and it has been. Set up was easy for my wife, and she never sets anything “up”! App works well with “bob”, and he cleans the floors like very well. Transitions from wood floors to area rug, regular rug rooms, and basically navigates around dinning room chairs, ottoman, sofa the works. Then when bob is tired, he goes back on his own pad and rebots till he is needed. His work schedule is everyother day at our house for the most part, he may get called out daily if needed. Please note that we have 2 big dogs, 2 cats, and a big parrot, and thats if the kids are not staying with us. You can add another dog to that list. We tend to go In and out to the backyard alot, and traffic from those that have 2 or 4 legs really adds to alot of dirt getting tracked in. The hair the the pets leave is just ridiculous. Those with hairy 4 legged friends know what im talking about. Those moment that the sun hits the floors at that precise angle on those wood floors. It just makes the house feel, well unclean! My wife is so much more at ease with the floor situation, she wants to add another bob upstairs. I want to get the model that can wash floors but would have to fo more research to see if our floors would be able to withstand the process. Bob has been a wonderfull addition, and with the Geek Squad Total Tec program i dont worry if he gets sick. I was told the squad will doctor him up good as new. Its kinda makes me feel special when i talk to the “squad”. Shout out to my son Eric (geek squad utica MI) who said that this was a great giit for mom, and telling me that the Geek squad Total Tec was a game changer for anyone that has electronics in the home. Seriously if you are on the fence, take this little guy out for a spin. Let me ask you, “how much is your time worth?” Right?

This is the first robotic vacuum I have purchased. It is amazing! The features it has are great and allow for a very clean floor free of debri. It is able to transition from carpet to wood with ease. The app is great and allows for viewing where in your home bob is cleaning. It will also let you know if there is an issue with bob. Through the app you can schedule daily cleaning.

Works a lot better than my old robot. The LiDAR system enables it to move through rooms with a purpose. It cleans a room in a linear fashion and moves on to the next. It does get stuck sometimes and also can’t find its way home other times. It also go past it’s blocked zones sometimes too. Dust bin is a little small

This is my first robot vacuum so I don't have much to compare too but I like it so far. It doesn't have super strong suction on carpet but it does work well on hardwood floor. It seems to map things well and be able to get itself unstuck however it will get stuck on any cords like phone charging cord. I do like the app and how you can make it go on your phone. Or you can tell it to clean a specific area on the map. The battery seems to last a long time and the price was really good.

This is absolutely a great product, definitely can’t beat Best Buy prices. The deals Best Buy has are the best al around every store or online website. Not even Amazon can beat this kind a deals. I definitely recommend this product and of course the great service from Best Buy.

This is my 4th robot vacuum and it is by far the best one yet. Went from a roomba knockoff to a real roomba to a samsung that costed more than this one, and the Phoenix is better, and quieter. The technology is amazing. The way it maps out your house and you can control where you want it to go and not go is my favorite feature. The mopping attachment works great too.

Phoneix arrived a dew days ago, and was delivered with a fun message. Bobby has been put hard to work multiple times. He has done a good job of vacuuming, creating a map of the house, and maneuvers very well around. The app is very user friendly. The app lets you see the map that has been created, edit the map, create a schedule, start/stop Bob, or run a quick clean. Very impressed by the vacuum so far.

I love the mapping feature AND that I can operate it from my phone. I also like that I can block areas out that it could get stuck. The container that holds the debris is easy to clean (a little tricky the first time trying to figure out how to open it, however). I only gave it a 4 star because it is not as good as my other unit with pet hair and the container that holds the debris has a cubby that doesn't always empty on its own. I would definitely recommend this purchase!

I purchased the bObsweep Phoenix Nov 2, 2023 and it was delivered on Nov 8th, so I’ve had it a little over a week. So far it has lived up to expectations. The app was easy enough to figure out and I have been able to do an initial mapping and then set the no go areas. The only thing that I noticed that was a minus is the size of the dust bin and filter. They appear quite a bit smaller that a previous robot vacuum that I was using (different brand). Overall I would give it 4.5 out of 5 stars.

Bob is great! Enough sucking power, is gentle enough when hits walls, door or trims. We have Ruggable rugs, and often times the most frustrating thing is it flips over those rug corners, but it beats vacuuming! We had a shark before this one, and it’s equally good if not better.
