Visually there is a lot to love here; a mix of different animation styles, effective use of color and camera movement and great 3D. Despite all of that the story had me turning this off after 45 minutes (20 minutes after my wife gave up on it!) A review I had read online called the story 'twisted' and compared it to Tarantino. A better way to describe it is juvenile and hopelessly cliche. The main character is repellant, a crude chauvinist and alcoholic but beautiful women throw themselves at him. At one point he shoots his own dog for no reason. There is no depth, just a narcissist who kills, often for no reason. Also, the actors they used for the English dub are horrible, clearly English is not their first language nor is it one they fully comprehend. The performances are wooden and have numerous mispronunciations of words (in the first minute he says the word 'putrid' aa 'putt-rid'). This is not the way to do an alternate language dub. I don't mind violence, I can enjoy a movie about people who kill (Pulp Fiction, Drive) but there needs to be a character behind it, not a string of bad cliches that feels like it was written by a 13-year-old who thinks the way to show a woman that you like her is to beat up a guy who is looking at her. It is a tremendous pity and a waste of what is clearly a talented director. I will check out some of Gustavo Cova's other movies, but this one is a stinker.

It is ok if you like 3D and you can over look bad reviews about the writers production of the movie but the worst thing was it skipped out about toward the end and i kept it because there was probably not a good copy out there anyway. So i wanted to keep the movie but there is no perfection in it other than a new way of looking at 3D. it was different..i love 3D.

It was reported years ago when this was first released most players had freezing issues with this disc at 1:15:00 and 1:15:56, I recently purchased it 3/15/2021 hoping defect was corrected, but it has not. Great 3D though..
