After a couple of years of use now, I couldn't really be any happier with this unit. Actually purchased an open box/floor model at Best Buy, so this one was additionally more affordable. That said, this is by far the best dishwasher I've ever used. I mean...stop rinsing already, this thing actually cleans. Soooo quiet, whisper quiet. Really. Which obviously is about how well insulated it is; several HOURS after finishing a cycle, opening the door lets out just a ton of heat, still...very long after any drying was actually happening via any kind of actual heating. Oh, and lastly, man, does it hold a lot. So very much more than previous, older units I've owned, and really we're talking about the spacing on the lower rack. They're close, but again, doesn't matter...stuff comes out crazy clean. I have been a dishwasher hater my whole life, and this one is a game changer. Yes, I'm far too excited about this, and my Kohler sink and faucet, and my snowblower, and lawn mower, and yes, I perhaps need to get out more. Anyway, love it, highly recommended.

This dishwasher is quiet, cleans dishes well and the adjustable racks are great. The stainless steel interior doesn't hold smells and the removable strainer / filter makes keeping odors away easy.

Still getting to know it. Quiet and seems to work well. Loading the racks is different and we are struggling to adjust .

This is my first Bosch dishwasher and I’m completely impressed with this brand. It is so quiet that I have to look at the panel to assure myself that it is indeed running. The top rack houses those large cooking spoons, tongs etc. The middle rack height can be adjusted to 3 different positions to accommodate the loading of taller items. The bottom rack has partitions that can be folded flat to accommodate a variety of items. Dishes, pots and pans, plastic and silver wear come out clean and dry. There is nothing complicated about operating the cycles...it’s pretty straight forward and intuitive. I love the cleanliness of a stainless steel interior. What’s not to like? It’s the best dishwasher ever.

42 dBa is extremely quiet. It is easy to place dishes in. We have not used the third rack but glad it is there for when we have guests. The silverware basket is much larger than we would like, especially with the availability of the third rack. I wish we had kept one of the two much smaller racks from our previous Bosch dishwasher. Our old one also had these clips for small items that this one does not have, wish we had kept them. But all in all, easier to pack, quieter, improved dispenser, adjustable rinse aid dispenser and easier to use controls makes this an excellent choice.

It’s a Bosch - there’s no better dishwasher on the market. It’s so quiet that you can’t hear it running unless you are right next to it. It is efficient and gets the dishes sparkling clean. This is the first time I’ve had the 3rd shelf and I really like it for small items. The installer from Best Buy was very skilled and had it installed quickly.

This dishwasher is so quiet, you have to look at the control panel to see if it is running. And it does a great job with the dishes. In a couple dozen loads, only one dish didn't come clean. Oh, and it has 3 racks! One negative -- this thing requires an outlet, not just the bare wires that were normal some years ago. The installer added the necessary outlet for $60, cash. After some time on the phone, Best Buy gave me a $100 gift card to compensate.

Delivered and installed by BB, great job. The dishwasher runs quietly at 42 db, I could not see any reason to go below that level to get the red light on floor. I have used it for a month now, the racks take getting used to. I have had to adjust the middle rack a couple of times and it works fine. The 3rd rack is nice for silverware. Overall, d/w does a good job at washing and drying dishes

I've had this for a couple of months now and have been really happy with it. I think it was worth it to spend a little more and get the crystal dry feature on this model. It does a very good job drying things, even plastics. The machine is very quiet and I have yet to pull a dish out that isn't completely clean. The third rack is also a very nice feature and helps free up a lot of room on the other racks so we can fit more in. I would absolutely recommend this if you're looking for an upper tier dishwasher.

I did a lot of research before I chose not only on the brand and model but where I bought it and I feel that time was used was all spent. The machine is so quiet and does such a great job plus so very easy to use!.Best Buy has free delivery and charges very little to haul away the old one, the delivery people were pretty nice too

This purchase replaced a Kitchenaid Dishwasher that we had for many years. I loved my Kitchenaid and only replaced it because it finally bit the dust. I spent months researching what to buy. I narrowed it to Kitchenaid vs Bosch. The Bosch has a new drying technology, Crystal Dry, that dries really well without a heater, a plus. The new Kitchenaids don't have a grinder, which I loved in my old one. I never had to clean any filters and since I rinsed my dishes before washing it probably kept the grinder from wearing out. The Bosch has a filter which needs to be rinsed out occasionally (depending on how much you leave on your dishes) I wanted one in regular black color (not stainless). I also wanted a recessed handle and this was not offered in the color I wanted from Kitchenaid, so I decided on this Bosch. I don't hate it, but I don't love it. I took out the top rack. I never use it and I found it hard to fit my standard glasses in the top rack while it's in there unless I lay them down. Many of my glasses have stems and I do like the fold down piece to hold them, but I struggle to move it down to get it in place. It wants to stay up until the glass holds it down. There is a lot of room for plates and bowls, but we use a lot of glasses and I find it difficult to load them and fit them in. This is probably the thing I don't like the most. All in all it's a decent dishwasher but I still miss my old Kitchenaid.

This is a great dishwasher, with lots of room to fit anything you need for it to clean. At a 42 db, my expectation was that I wouldn't be able to tell that it's on from several feet away, but that isn't the case. However, it is very quiet and doesn't impact your ability to talk or concentrate. Most of the sound appears to be coming from the top edge, which doesn't have as wide of a seal as the sides do, so if I add to that seal, I may be able to eliminate most of what little sound this dishwasher creates. The key reason that I moved up to the low end of the Bosch 800 series dishwasher was to get the Crystal Dry feature, since we wash a lot of plastic food storage containers which generally come out wet...especially the covers. After several wash cycles with this dishwasher, I have found that the plastic food storage containers don't come out any drier than they did with my 14 year Kenmore Elite dishwasher. We aren't using the Finish dishwashing pods or rinse agent, which we will try once our current supplies of those items have been used up. Lastly, the top 3rd rack doesn't hold very much when not being used for flatware, so I would have preferred the My Way 3rd rack, but I wasn't willing to go up another few hundred dollars or more to get it. We have never had a 3rd rack, so it does at least provide an option for fitting more into a load.

This dishwasher does everything Bosch says it does. The crystal dry, to this point, had dried everything perfectly. Super quiet and easy to use. I read the manual and saw the multitude of settings. I stayed with the factory settings but I do know how to change options because I did read the manual. .

I replaced my GE Profile dishwasher with this Bosch 800 series. I am amazed at how well the Bosch cleans the dishes. With my old GE we rinsed all of the dishes before putting them into the dishwasher...practically had to wash them. Not with Bosch! EVERYTHING that we have put into this thing comes out clean. And that is just on the Auto cycle. Scrape the food off and put it in. Done. Comes out clean every time. Oh, dried on food...no problem. Clean. Not only does the Bosch clean better but than my old dishwasher it also dries better. We use the CrystalDry setting and we no longer have water on the top of glasses or cups. Everything is completely dry and spot free. Finally, the Bosch is SO quiet! The only way that I know when it is running is when I hear the water going down the drain. My advice...don't wait, get one now because you will not be disappointed.

I'm one of those that does my research on any major purchase, especially mechanical one's. Well, let me save you the research, this is amazing!! It exceeded my expectations in every way. I know the biggest complaint is the fact that since it doesn't have an actual heating element it doesn't leave plastic items super dry! NOT the case if you use the correct rinse agent. When I first got it I used Finish that came with it. It was alright, but honestly not so great. I was still okay with it because my heating element dishwasher left plastic items wet at times as well. The trade off for a fabulous dishwasher that you can put plastic on the bottom rack to me was worth it. BUT ALAS I found the new Finish Jet Dry Ultra Rinse Aid | Dishwasher Rinsing and Drying Agent – with Etch Protector!! It is magic, everything comes out sparkling, spotless bone dry! So with that overall only complaint about this taken care of, you will love it. Also I do prefer the controls on the front. Sorry just because it is the "Thing" you can't see them, I would rather see how much time I have left etc at a glance, and not have to go open the door stop the process. Just my liking, but I love it all!

We have upgraded from old kitchenaid models and these are amazing. Ultra quiet. Cleans amazingly. Does not dry amazingly but “pretty good.” Cycles can be long. On auto and crystal dry takes 2hrs and 39min. But wow. It gets clean, no matter what we put in there.

Start off by commenting on how quiet this dishwasher is; no longer having to set it to come on overnight while you’re sleeping. Furthermore, I don’t want my guest to know this, but I’ve never had cleaner dishes; noticeably cleaner. I BBQ a lot and I placed a spatula on the top rack with burnt rub consisting of sugar. I wanted to see if it could clean “it”. 110% it did! I was told not to buy a Bosch by a personal friend in the industry- stating they are not as good as they use to be. I wouldn’t be able to fathom based on how I’m impressed with the Bosch 800 series.

This dishwasher is so quiet I can barely tell it’s on. It cleans great and I love how you can adjust the racks to fit your pots and pans! The third rack is perfect for kitchen utensils.

The Bosch 800 Series dishwasher exceeds all of my expectations for a higher end appliance. The convenient front controls are a greatly appreciated option over the hidden control panel on the top of the door of other models. This is a personal preference, however, it is nice to be able to see the control panel when the door is closed. Also, the CrystalDry feature dries the dishes very well and is a nice upgrade from an older Bosch dishwasher at a previous residence. Very quiet as well. I have zero complaints about this dishwasher! Finally, Best Buy delivered it to my house in perfect condition.

Great dishwasher! Cleans very well, super quiet and does plastics pretty good. Plastic containers still have a hard time drying the groove where the cover snaps on, but it's so much better than my old LG. The Bosch 800 is a little expensive and I'm still learning how to load it for best results. Installers knew what they were doing an it was a breeze to swap out my old one.
