I rate earbuds on 5 things, Noise Canceling, Sound, Voice Calling, Controls & Ear Fit. Many professional reviews on these expensive earbuds or over-ear headsets are never helpful and accurate. Noise Canceling: Bose noise canceling is great (10), better than close comparison Sony - WF1000XM5 (9). Sennheiser Momentum closely matches up well with Bose (10). Sound: Bose Sound is great, gives you a good spatial audio with bass and just has good depth (9.5), The Sony - WF1000XM5 sound is seriously not great, very mundane in my view, good treble (8). Sennheiser Momentum sound doesn’t have as much base to the Bose, but overall sound is better than the Bose (10). Voice Calling: Most of this are ok with voice calling. I would say the Bose is a 9, Sony - WF1000XM5 is a 7 and Sennheiser Momentum 8.5 Controls: Bose controls are easier 10, Sony - WF1000XM5 packaging doesn’t even show the controls, have to research it (8) and Sennheiser Momentum 10. Ear Fit (working out, not running): Bose fits well and stays (10). Sony - WF1000XM5 with the different tips do not stay in ear well (8). Sennheiser Momentum fits and stays well (10)

Good quality ear buds for listening to music/watching shows. Love the fit and how nicely they stay in your ear. Only negative is the call feature. The sound gets very quiet and you can’t hear the other person on the phone well, and they can’t hear you well either. Wanting to return them only for this reason.

    Amazing Anc and Fit

First off these fit amazing compared to all other. The Anc is better than the Sony's Xm5 earbuds but the Bose Ultra does not compete against the Sony's Ldac codec, but the immersive audio does make up for a bit of the sound quality. Bose stays stuck on Sbc codec unless you have a Snapdragon Sound device which is mostly off brand highend devices do. So most of highend samsung device in the US have snapdragon chips in them but are not approved for Snapdragon sound so it's worthless for Bose to advertise this feature. This is the only major draw back to these earbuds other than Multi point connectivity which I really don't care about but it would be nice for Bose to add this feature. The controls on the earbuds are hands done the best.

    Best Earbuds on the Planet!

Bose has been making some of the best audio products for years and their latest noise cancelling earbuds do not disappoint. I have used earbuds from numerous manufacturers over the years, and Bose tends to lead the way at every turn. This product is about as close to perfect as you can get. Pros: - Set up was simple. I had already had the Bose Music app installed on my phone since I have other Bose products, and as soon as I opened the earbud case my phone alerted me that there was a new device ready to connect. You gotta love the automation/simplicity! - Audio quality was top notch. I have been listening to music, podcasts, and streamed shows over the past several days. All of them sounded fantastic. - The listening modes all have great purposes and are easy to toggle with a single short press on either ear-bud. "Quiet" mode is when you want to avoid all ambient sound and avoid distractions. "Aware" is for when you want to be able to hear things around you and engage others without having to remove an earbud. "Immersion" mode was my preferred method for music, but not for podcasts. Immersion mode made music sound fuller and somehow like it was coming from all around me instead of being fed directly into my ears. It's hard to explain but it really made listening to songs I've heard a hundred times sound new and different in an amazing way. - The customization you would want in a high-end product like this is present. In the Bose app you can fine tune audio settings to your liking and can toggle other things like which earbud you would like to use to activate your voice assistant. - The fit for me with the medium eartips was perfect. Small and large tips are also included, as are a variety of stability bands for your outer ear fit. I haven't seen another company offer the stability bands as an option in their designs. Perhaps it's patented? But they certainly help provide a more secure fit for anyone using these earbuds during physical activity. - Battery life is good at 6 hours per charge. But if you use "Immersion" mode it will cut 2 hours off of that time. And of course you can charge them back up in the case while you are on the go. - Touch controls work perfectly. It is very easy to skip tracks, pause, etc. Raising and lowering volume requires just a short swipe up or down on either ear. I've never had earbud controls be so intuitive and work so precisely before. Cons: - The earbuds, for me, are a little tricky to grab and pull out of the case. This could be a positive if you consider that they won't slide out accidentally when you don't want them to. These earbuds are high priced but well worth the cost when you factor in the audio quality, comfortable fit, noise canceling, and the game-changing immersion mode. I highly recommend them.

Bose is at it again with the new QuietComfort Ultra True Wireless Noise Cancelling earbuds. If you know about Bose, you know what to expect. Excellent quality, cutting edge sound and an all around amazing product. Over the past few days these are typically in my ears off and on from 9a-11p. Out of the box these buds fit perfectly in my ears, amazing. It hugs the inside of your ear and unlike some other brands of earbuds these are so light and small they don't feel like they're falling out of your ears at time. Even while working out or sweating, they're just stuck there. The package does come with 2 additional sizes on top of what you get installed on the earbuds, so people with large or small earholes have other options. Bose offers top notch audio quality in their products. The QuietComfort Ultras are no different. The app offers a ton of settings. There are 3 different modes to choose from. There's quiet which is your normal noise cancelling, aware that allows you to hear things around you by using the mic on the buds to amplify sounds and the last mode is immersion which makes it feel like a live concert in your hears and also uses noise cancelling. Inside the immersion mode you have 3 other depth enhancements. Off, which i'm not sure why it's included, Still which is best for sitting down and motion which is best for when you're moving around. Mess around with them all and see which one you like best. I seem to like motion as it delivers the most depth. An EQ is also included in the app. Speaking of noise cancelling, these earbuds are probably top of the line as far as the ability to hear NOTHING while you have the buds in. This also makes the fit and different size earpieces so important. When you have noise cancelling you need that tight seal. These accomplish that seal needed. The noise cancelling is almost uncomfortably quiet. The battery life has been second to none. They boast 6 hours of listening time (4 with using immersive audio) and the case holds up to 3 additional full charges. The case is small and slick feeling. It doesn't create a bulge in your pocket or weigh much at all. It does feel very plastic and slightly fragile and i'm currently searching for some type of silicone case for protection. Calls sound great on these and i've gotten good feedback from others that the mic sounds great. Touch controls are similar to other Bose models. I like the swipe up for volume up and down for volume down and I like the ability to change from noise cancelling to aware by holding down on the earbuds. All in all these are legit top quality earbuds that offer amazing fit, amazing sound and look great. A 10 of 10 in every category in my book.

TL;DR: These earbuds are amazing! They sound great, have the best noise cancellation I've ever heard, and they actually fit my ears and stay in, even during vigorous activity. Plus, they have fantastic battery life. The only downside is the design, which is a bit dated for 2023. The charging case also seems cheap and doesn't have wireless charging. Detailed Review: I've tried a lot of different earbuds in my time, but I've always had to buy custom tips to get them to stay in my ears. My current earbuds are held in place by the tips alone, and it's a terrible experience. I've even had to resort to using two different pairs of earbuds, one for everyday use and one for physical activity. That all changed when I got these Bose earbuds. They fit perfectly! They stay in my ears without any custom tips, and they sound amazing. The noise cancellation is also top-notch, and I can even pipe in ambient noise if I want to. I've used these earbuds on both my Android and iPhone, and the experience has been great. The only thing is that you can't pair them to both devices at the same time using just Bluetooth. You have to use the Bose Music app to set them up first. Once they're set up, you can pair them with other devices, but you'll need to use the app to manage and initiate the connection. Once they're connected then you can swap devices using the devices OS or the Bose Music app. As for build quality, the earbuds themselves seem great, but the case is a bit flimsy. It's made of plastic and has a rattle if you tap on it. The earbuds themselves also have a bit of an old-fashioned design. But none of that really matters, because these earbuds are simply amazing. Overall, I'm extremely happy with these Bose Quiet Comfort Ultra earbuds. They have everything I'm looking for in a pair of earbuds: great sound, noise cancellation, and a comfortable fit. Did I mention they stay in my ear!!!!!

These wireless earbuds are exceeding my expectations since opening them this week. The sounds, fit and compact nature are the primarily reasons why I have been satisfied so far. Firstly, the sound is superior to most other earbuds that I have used and while pairing with the companion app the user can adjust any aspect of the sound and pick from sound profiles that fit my needs. Setting up the app was super easy too, after installing the app, my phone picked up the earbuds immediately and began walking me through how to attain the proper fit in the earbuds. When it comes to fit a neat thing that Bose has done is giving 2 options in terms of adjusting the fit. One piece for inner-ear and another for the upper lobe, each with 3 sizes that are provided (S,M,L). I have never seen earbuds that provide this level of adjustability. Lastly, the carry case that also acts as a charger on the go is built tough. The shell is strong and fits nicely in my pocket without creating too much of a bulge. If you are looking for earbuds that can fit nearly any ear, produce high quality sound and are made to me used on the go, then these are a perfect match for you. Highly recommended.

Have had these for a few months now and use them almost every day for the gym, biking, etc. Pros: -Sound quality and noise cancellation are seemingly best in class -Customizing the fit has been helpful for stability -Quiet mode and Immersion sound about the same (not sure if that's pro or con, just something to note) -They look great and are comfortable to wear for extended periods of time Cons: -Bluetooth often only connects to one headphone when putting them in -If you remove one while they're connected, you can only restart music via your phone, the tap function will not recognize pause/play -Not properly waterproof, have issues in any exposure to moisture where the modes continually cycle making them unusable -Phone call quality is subpar. I generally have no problem hearing, but the other party on the line has consistently reported they can't hear me If all you want is to listen to music, the sound quality on these is lovely. However, the basic features on these such as bluetooth connectivity and touch buttons have had major issues since I bought them, which for buds in this price range is extremely disappointing.

I'm happy to hear that you use your QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds almost every day, and that you like their sound quality, noise cancellation and customizable fit!

If you're experiencing Bluetooth connectivity issues, try rebooting your smartphone (which can help), and also try your earbuds in a different environment, to compare performance there. Also, if you remove one earbud while the earbuds are connected, you can easily restart your music by re-inserting the earbud into your ear.

As for the earbuds' water resistance rating, they are rated IPX4, meaning they are protected against splashing water from any direction. I hope this explanation is useful. Lastly, if the person you're speaking to says they cannot hear you, try angling the Bose logo on your earbuds towards your mouth/chin, which will allow for the best mic performance. Also, make sure no headgear is blocking the mic holes on your earbuds.

For any further issues, our support team will be more than happy to assist you further: https://support.bose.com/s/get-help-landing-page?language=en_US.

These truly do have the bass compared to the Beats and iPods Pro. I like the Moonstone Blue color as opposed to the black and off-white. They fit quite well and really are husband-cancelling (oops noise-cancelling). It takes a little getting used to at first. I don't care for using the Bose app to connect via Bluetooth but it does have an equalizer.

I’ve been a Bose fanboy for a long time, I own almost all of their products mainly because they always last me and have yet to fail me while providing great sound. I still had my Quiet Comfort Buds (1) and jumped into these so I skipped the second gen. These still sounds just as crisp but the ANC is absolutely stunning. It works better then previous models and even when they’re paused it muffles amazing, when you start your music the ANC is just stunning. The new fit is cool and they weight less then the buds I was using previously. I do have 2 gripes tho, 1. The initial start up noise when inserting into your ears is not pleasant and less subtle then previous models 2. The touch features are super sensitive so when I’m working out I may adjust a bud and accidentally pause my music. Now, as far as Spatial Audio goes you can’t really tell so much with music but if you’re an avid movie watcher on your phone you’ll tell. You’ll feel totally immersed in the movie itself and it’ll trip you out at first. Lastly the battery life is insane, I still haven’t charged the case and it’s been a couple of weeks

The sound quality is great. Better than my beats fit pro. No problems with them getting loose or falling out while lifting weights or doing cardio. The only issue i have if with the bose app. The app is great when it works but it keeps crashing and losing connection with the ear buds. This doesnt affect the connection with the phone. There are no interruptions with music play, but you cant change the EQ or the immersion settings. You have to close app and establish connection again. This happens all the time. You dont need the app. I know people who dont use the app for this reason. Once my buds are connected i dont dont use the app either. So, great buds if you dont use the app.

Bought a pair in my quest to replace my galaxy buds plus. These sound awesome, they fit awesome, and the anc is impressive. However, you can not turn it off. Its either ANC or aware mode, there is no passive sound blocking only - thus the battery life is pretty bad. Ended up returning as they dont fit my needs.
