I’ve had this earbuds for a few weeks and I love them. I love the way they sound and the way they fit. Usually I like to use AirPods since it’s easier to connect to my other Apple products but they always seem to slip out when I use them. There’s no issues with this ones slipping out since they have different size wing tips. They are comfortable to wear even for hours. They are pretty easy to control since you can control your music without taking your phone out with the touch functions on the earbuds. There’s a few things that I don’t like. Sometimes when I’m laying down and I lay one my side with my earbud on they change the songs or lower/raise volume, so I would say they are really sensitive. But that can be avoided so not a deal breaker. Another thing I don’t like is that it’s kinda hard to take them out of the case itself. Also the battery life isn’t as good as I would like it to be but it still last around 5 hours(using immersive audio). Other than that I would 100% recommend them even if they’re a bit pricy.

Good quality ear buds for listening to music/watching shows. Love the fit and how nicely they stay in your ear. Only negative is the call feature. The sound gets very quiet and you can’t hear the other person on the phone well, and they can’t hear you well either. Wanting to return them only for this reason.

Surprisingly comfortable and really good ANC. The sound is though a bit dark compared to other high fidelity earbuds. Should ideally support other codecs as Ldac for broader device support. When no music is playing I do hear some white noise. Immersive audio is a bit of a gimmick though, work well on some songs. Price a bit high for its features.

The sound is beautiful they're very comfortable but the reconnection When getting out of your car on my Samsung phone. It is not good

Noise cancellation is great. The reason they do not receive 5 stars is they randomly have something happen to the sound that sounds like they move in and out of Stereo or Wide. I have messed with the different settings (Aware, Quiet, Immersive), but the problem persists.

These are the best noise canceling product I’ve ever had, and I have owned four different manufacturers version. Bluetooth connection to devices is easy. Aware mode is easy to access. Quiet mode is quiet. They recharge quickly in the recharging unit. My only beef is putting the earbuds in the recharging unit. I have a difficult time lining up the recharge track with the earbud. Don’t know if it is the angle, the smallness, my dexterity, but for some reason, I find them aggravating to securely return to their charging holder. These earbuds are great. I use them daily.

I would like to give these five stars but I'm going to go with four stars. I wanted a tad bit more bass and I feel like around the 11-month mark the playback quality diminished by about 10%. I love the 5-hour battery life.

Good noise canceling, but Bluetooth connection still need some upgrades. Also is laking the feature that turn off NC and transparency to save battery. Overall good.

After careful research, I decided to go with the Bose earbuds. I've owned various models of the Apple airpods and decided I wanted to try a different brand and model. It's great for listening to music and movies but I am not completely sold on the sound quality when conducting calls. Otherwise I would have given them a 5 star review.

Only 4 stars because the fit wasn’t quite there; the earbuds fell out and I returned for the actual headphones and I’m in Love. These earbuds would be perfect for the airport or at a sitting position where you are not moving around much - I used them on the couch

If you're looking for 100% sound cancelation, this is the ones you're looking for. But the app has to many bugs

Great headphones for exercising. Augmented spatial audio may not appeal to everyone. Not a significant upgrade from bose qc 2 earbuds.

I enjoy Bose products. I have a couple of them myself and I respect how Bose is always placing quality above anything else for their products. This new entry of the Bose QC Ultra Earbuds is no different and also delivers on that quality. This is my review of the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds. *TLDR at the bottom ========== IN THE BOX/FIRST IMPRESSIONS/COMFORT: In the box, you get the earbuds in a matte white case, a USB-A to USB-C cable, different-sized ear tips/stability bands, and some documentation. I recommend playing around with the different-sized ear tips and stability bands to maximize comfort and noise cancellation. My first impression is that these do stick out of your ear and aren’t as lowkey as other earbuds. I would even say, a somewhat outdated design. The case is wonderful and feels nice to the touch. It’s also easily portable and should be able to fit in most pockets. I enjoyed how comfortable these are. These are certainly some of the most comfortable earbuds I have used. Even after hours of use, not much discomfort appeared. They also stay inside the ears even with constant movement. ========== SOUND QUALITY: The sound coming out of the QC Ultra earbuds is all quality. They sound seriously marvelous, which is what I would expect from Bose. Whatever genre I was listening to from Rock, Hip-hop, Latin, EDM, Metal, and more, all sounded great. Out of the box the earbuds tend to have a balanced sound with the lows being a bit on the heavier side but overall, it isn’t too noticeable. Calls are solid too, all I want is for them to hear me clearly and for me to hear them and these do just that. The one criticism I do have on sound is the LOUD startup sound of the earbuds. The second I put these on there is a loud sound letting you know that they are in your ear and ready. I’ve looked around the app and unfortunately, I have yet to find a setting to disable the startup sound. ========== FEATURES: The Bose QC Ultra earbuds have plenty of premium features that many earbuds at this price point would have. First, the noise cancellation is top-notch. These do cancel out sound extremely well especially on “Immersive” Mode. I would go as far as saying these have some of the best noise cancellation compared to all the earbuds I have tested. “Aware” Mode which allows you to hear sound from the outside works great too. These earbuds also have what Bose calls Immersive Audio. This is Bose’s version of what others call 360/Spatial audio where the sound of your music feels like it’s coming from all around you. There are two versions of this: Still and Motion mode. Still is meant to be used for when you’re sitting while the other is when you’re in motion. Of the two, Still mode sounds the best in most situations. While the Immersive Audio feature is neat, I wouldn’t enable it when watching or hearing videos where the content creator is using a binaural microphone. The feature tends to mess with the effect that the content creator wants you to hear. The battery on these earbuds is remarkable. I have not needed to charge these much even with noise cancelling on. I was able to use these for days before needing to charge them for the first time. Finally, the Bose Music app can be used to access other features like EQ and firmware updates. ========== WHAT’S MISSING: These features are neat but there are features that many premium headphones have that these do not. One of the features is wireless charging. I know Bose is selling a separate case for these earbuds that provides this feature, but I strongly believe it should already have been included at this price point. Another feature that I felt should have been included at this price point is multipoint connection. In this day in age where one person likely may be using several tech products at one time, being able to switch between them seamlessly is a feature that would be very helpful. The QC Ultra earbuds only allow for one device to be connected at one time which is a bummer at this price point. While testing, there have been times when I have needed to quickly switch devices due to calls on my cell phone or Teams on my computer. ========== CONCLUSION/TLDR: Overall, these are quality premium earbuds. They sound amazing and the noise cancelling feature is some of the best I have tried on earbuds. These are considered premium earbuds at this price point, and they do have a lot of premium features like noise cancellation and Immersive Audio. On the contrary, they also lack some premium features that I would’ve liked to see included. These features are wireless charging and multipoint connection. But if you don’t mind the lack of these features, these are excellent earbuds that won’t leave you disappointed. I strongly encourage you to give them a try!

So like many people will say, Bose sound signature is always well balanced solid clear sounding Audio quality. The same goes for this iteration of Bose’s QC in ear headphones with some new technology and a slight tweak to the sound stage. Firstly I will say I do love these headphones and I do recommend them. But there are a few minor issues I want to talk about. 1st I want you to know that the sound is great yes but Bose seems to have put a slight emphasis on the treble as it is a bit higher and more sharp out the box. I’m guessing more people are liking higher treble nowadays and that’s ok, but I do not. I always chose Bose because of their focus on the mid range/vocals while tuning their earphones(mids are still amazing btw). They also used to focus more on the bass as well. And bass is good if you have the perfect tip installed on the earbud itself. If you use an ear tip that is too big the bass will lessen and the sound will leak but they do include 3 different tips and wings to choose from. I’ll stick to the medium size tips and medium sized wing. 2nd the case while smaller and lighter and nice looking feels a tad bit flimsy imo. The lid part feels super thin and the hinge definitely feels like it might break if you do not handle with care. Back to the wing part that helps stay secure in your ear, they work 100% but are not as comfortable as the older generation with the full wing tip. Maybe I am nit picking and maybe I am old fashioned but I think those worked better but I do understand that Bose was trying to make a smaller product. So that is more than understandable and it may not bother most people. Noise cancellation is top tier and no surprise obviously. Touch controls work well if not a little bit sensitive, no issues there. Battery life is great lasted me several days with noise cancellation always on. Voice quality came out clear while talking on the phone. And last but not least Bose's new immersion/spacial audio is very cool and innovative but might be a niche type of technology. You will either use it all the time or not at all. I tested many songs and showed my wife an kids. They all said it was cool but kinda changed the sound from what the original Audio was supposed to be. Also it will drain the battery faster so I don’t use it much. You might love it so definitely give it a shot with different genres. I had to knock 1 star mainly due the case quality, the overly high treble and the slightly uncomfortable wingtip! But as I have stated previously, I do recommend them still as they will meet the majority of people’s needs and wants. A great set of earphones with some minor issues. Good luck and happy shopping!

I've been leaving reviews on other websites for a long time now, and figured it wouldn't hurt to leave a decent one for this product on Best Buy. To start off, I love the packaging to this product. It is simplistic and easy to access. Just tear away the little paper strip, and it will allow the buyer to remove the "outer shell" to get to the tasty morsel inside! The product comes with a charging cable, large and small ear bud tips and some large ear grip sizes (the part that grips to the inside of your ear when you twist them into place). It also comes with instructions, but who needs that! Next, we have the ear buds themselves. I decided to go with the white smoke color because it goes well with my other electronics. Now, to discuss the product itself and software. The connectivity was seamless! I followed the instructions from the Bose app, and it guided me through connecting the device. It allowed me to choose a name for my earbuds. This isn't a big deal, but it does allow for finding your device easier if yours is named something special. I decided to go with "Ear-Hole Commander", which I'm sure no one else has taken. After setting the device up through the app, I decided it was time to use my lovely little $260.00 earbuds, and I have to say it has its WOW and its ehh factors. For the WOW factors, it sounds great! I own quite a few sets of ear buds and over-the-ear headsets as well. These little buggers from Bose do not disappoint! I had to move a step down from the original ear tips because the medium size (I guess) was putting too much pressure on my ears and when I used the "Awareness Mode", it would sound very muffled when I talked to people. I swapped out the headset at Best Buy because the issue annoyed me so much, but after the issue started again, I realized it was either a software or hardware issue and luckily the muffled issue went away after moving to a lower size ear tip. The app is very simplistic when it comes to an equalizer, but this isn't always a bad thing. It does come with some present that sound decent, but I have always enjoyed doing my own EQs to get the best sound I can get out of a device. I own the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headset as well and these are well on par with them. Also, I would like to briefly discuss the noise canceling during calls. I tested these earbuds beside my large fan because I have a habit of sleeping with a fan every night, and my family members said that the calls were clear with no issue. I want to go over the three modes that the ear buds provide, which are the same as the headset as well: Awareness, immersion, and quiet. In my opinion, the awareness mode sounds great. It can make you feel like you're actually at a concert and surrounds you with perfect audio. The still is basically how the audio sounds without any extra effects added to it, and awareness allows for you to hear others. Now, let's talk about the so-so bad and just straight out bad. First, the ear buds battery life and volume. I let these ear buds charge for a good six hours, which is well over the time needed for them to charge to 100%. I talked to a few friends and family members less than an hour, and it had already dropped to 90%. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but just keep in mind that the battery life doesn't seem to be a high point of this product. Second, the volume. In comparison to AirPods Pros, these are no competition based on loudness. I always enjoy damaging my eardrums and with my iPhones, I have the volume protection turned off and these are still low volume to me. It is nothing centralized to just these ear buds because the headset has the same issue. Overall, these are the only issues I have with the headset. They are 100% better sound quality than the AirPods Pros. I love my AirPods, don't get me wrong. They are probably still going to be my daily drivers if these begin to annoy me in any way, but currently I can put these ear buds in, turn on immersion mode, and just drift away like sheep to the rhythm of the war drums. Definitely great for movies. More stable connection with the phone and with the app. Still buggy sometimes with the app, but better than the QC II. Cons: They have a faint static noise on the left earbud. I have two pairs (Black & White Smoke) and both have it. And I've read on the internet that it is a common issue. You can hear it on quiet environments. Hope Bose is aware and fixes this issue with a future firmware update. No wireless charching for a premium earbuds. Although Bose sells a silicone case cover for $50 that enables wireless charging. Not fair to spend an additional $50 on a $300 earbuds. No múltiple connections. It's only limited to one device at a time. Hope Bose enables this feature with a firmware update too. Battery it's still around 6 hrs (less than average), but Immersion drains it faster, 4 hrs. I wish you could turn of the NC or Ambient mode engine so you could get more hours of playtime.

These earphones boast incredible sound quality, sleek design, and impressive comfort, making them a top choice for music lovers. They deliver crisp highs, rich mids, and deep bass that immerse you in every song. The battery life is exceptional, lasting through long commutes and workouts without a hitch. However, despite their many strengths, the noise canceling feature falls short of expectations, allowing a surprising amount of background noise to seep through, which can detract from the experience in noisy environments. Still, for pure audio and design excellence, they're hard to beat.

My primary use of these headphones is for while I exercise. They are able to achieve a comfortable yet tight fit - which allows for great sound quality and for the noise canceling to work as designed. They also have never felt like they will fall out while I'm moving vigorously. The app allows you to switch between different levels of noise canceling as well as for positional audio - which is pretty wild. You should try it, but I also suspect you'll decide to disable it - because it's really weird to hear louder audio from your left earbud when your head turns to the right. The caveat that I must mention - I had a drop of sweat land on my right earbud, and it caused my headphones to continually cycle between the noise canceling levels (including announcing that it was doing so). This was beyond annoying and took a while to figure out what was causing it. Once I wiped away the sweat, it stopped. I also found that the swipe to control the volume didn't work as well as I would expect. It either didn't notice my intent to adjust or it adjusted way too much and the level hurt my ears. All of that said, I've never experienced sound quality at this high of a level in earbud. Also, it bears mentioning that I used them for an hour long phone call and the party on the other end couldn't tell I was using earbuds - which is very high praise.

I was looking to upgrade my first generation Airpods Pro. I compared these Bose buds with the AirPods Pro 2nd gen. My main objectives were improved ANC, good sound quality, and ease of use. The Bose are excellent on the first two. ANC is outstanding, far better than the older Airpods. Sound quality was very good as well. However, there were some minor glitches. The connection to the iPhone dropped sometimes and there was an occasional lack of sync between the L and R buds that would create a brief echo effect for a second or two. Also, the integration with Siri is not as seamless as with the Airpods. So I bought a pair of 2nd Gen Airpods, and found that the ANC and sound quality was on par with the Bose buds (though I did not do a deeper dive by comparing musical tracks; at first blush they were both good enough for me), but the Airpods function more smoothly in the Apple ecosystem, with fewer dropped connections, ease of use of Siri, etc. So, I returned the Bose buds. Bottom line: they are very high quality buds with comparable performance to the Airpods, but, as many online reviews say, the nod goes to the Airpods if you're swimming in the Apple waters.
