Top-Tier Consumer Headphones with limitations
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Exceptional audio, ANC, comfort, microphone clarity, and build quality. Out of the box, great experience on iOS, Android, Mac, and Nintendo Switch. Works with BOSE USB Link for superior/simpler performance on Windows. Works well with AptX dongles for wireless performance on PS5. Bose Music app is minimal but overall effective. ‘Smart’ buttons and functions are a bit clumsy. The ‘immersive’ audio is a tedious gimmick that I never use. Battery life could be better. If you’re loyal to Bose, these are a worthy revision. As always, price-to-performance doesn’t stack up against Sennheiser or Sony. Built-in Microphone doesn’t work when wired; included aux cable doesn’t have inline mic.

Don’t get Max’s, get the Bose QC ULTRA
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wow, just wow… I used to have the AirPod Max’s and I fell in love with them, I still felt that the price didn’t make any sense. I thought I wouldn’t find any better headphones than Apple’s but boy oh boy, this are excepcional. 1. Quality : headband it’s pretty comfortable just like the ear cups, I could listen to music for hours and not get irritated by such. The frame is a mixture of plastic and aluminum (if im correct) but they feel great. 2. Price : it’s a great price for what you’re getting 3. Pairing mode : you can connect several devices but you can only switch back and forth between 2 devices of which you can select in their app. Pretty easy 4. App : really good app, it shows tips and tricks 5. Audio Quality : BEST NC OVERALL, better than apple 6. Case : Listen, it’s just perfect and compact

||Posted . My Immersing myself in immersive mode, the world is in the rearview. I absolutely love these headphones. Even when describing the sound quality to family, my sister ordered a pair without hearing a note from mine.

Enjoy the Silence
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bose's latest version of their QuietComfort Headphones excel in almost every aspect. Their noise cancelling is top tier, they're very lightweight and comfortable to wear for extended periods, they sound excellent. Starting with their sound, they have excellent audio quality. Highs and lows are easily distinguished. Bose touts their immersive audio in these headphones, and it's an impressive feature to be able to sort of have audio seeming to emanate from its source. Say you have your phone on a desk, the sound would seem to come from that area, so turning your head would keep the audio coming from there while you move your head around. It's an interesting feature that works well. I also feel I should comment on how great these headphones sound. They truly are excellent sounding. Setup and connection are very easy. Especially using Bose's app. You just select the headphones in the app, and it easily guides you through getting them ready for use within a couple of minutes. Even letting you sample the immersive audio options. Connecting to dual devices is also easy and works very well. I like to wear the headphones while I'm working and using them to edit or watch videos on my PC, or anything on my phone will moving seamlessly between the two are handled very well. Bose also has a neat feature that plays a special audio tone that helps map your ear's unique properties and caters to you. It does this each time you put the headphones on, and you don't even notice. Another headline feature of these headphones for me is how comfortable they are. Wearing for extended periods of time doesn't get too uncomfortable over time. I'm able to wear them for hours at a time while I work without feeling the need to take them off. They seem lighter than other competitor headphones that are at this level. The fast charging is another standout feature. Being able to get an extra 3 hours of listening time after a 15-minute charge is great. If you forget to charge them before starting to work on a project, or hop on a flight, you can get enough battery from a quick charge. The battery life itself is also very good. Bose claims 24 hours of life without using the immersive audio, and I'm getting right around that battery life in my experience. Truly impressive. I also really appreciate how seamless and quickly it is to start using the headphones. The sensor in the headphones detects when you take them off and puts them in a sort of standby mode to save battery. If you put them back on within 24 hours of last taking them off, they automatically turn back on and reconnect to your devices. It works so well that using them is such an easy and pleasant experience. If you use headphones frequently, you owe it to yourself to get a nice pair. And if you're considering these, you won't be disappointed. Pros: Excellent audio quality, comfort, features, ease of use, lightweight Cons: I wouldn't mind if these hand controls on both earcups to skip tracks, etc.

New Standard For Noise Canceling Performance
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Even though I have used some amazing wireless headphones before, and my personal bar is set very high, I was still absolutely blown away by how exceptional the performance of these headphones are. The noise canceling and sound quality are the best in their class. Bose Ultra is now the new standard for wireless noise canceling headphones, to which all others will be compared. Bose was one of the original pioneers of noise canceling technology, and they have made some excellent products over the years, but they have found a way to set the bar even higher with Bose Ultra. When wearing them, I feel like I am in my own personal bubble of sound. I was not able to test them on an airplane, but I am looking forward to using them the next time I fly. Sound quality is also excellent. They produce powerful, full-range, high fidelity sound that makes watching movies and listening to music an absolute pleasure. The Bose Music App has a 3 band EQ that can be used to tweak the sound profile to the user's liking. There are also a few sound presets that can be used as well. I preferred the Bass Boost preset and found the bass to be powerful, while still being defined. I enjoyed the Immersive Audio feature for music because it convincingly enlarges the width and depth of the soundstage. Music impressively seems to be coming from all around. Setup is very straightforward. The Bose Music App is recommended since it opens up the advanced features of the headphones. Since I own other Bose products, I was already using the App so all I had to do was add a device. If this is your first Bose product then you will have to download the App and create an account. Theoretically it is possible to use the headphones without the App, but that is not advisable as you would be locking yourself out of many of the advanced features. Battery life is rated at up to 24 hours. I have been using them extensively for several days without needing a charge, so I consider the battery life to be outstanding. The headphones offer a very advanced Bluetooth Multipoint capability. Taping the Bluetooth button on the headphones switches to the next paired available device. This makes switching the primary audio stream from your phone to another device very easy. This is the smoothest Bluetooth switching implementation I have ever used. Switching from device to device can also be done using the App. The App will list the available device and which device is primary for audio. The build quality for these headphones is as good as the sound quality. They are manufactured from high quality components, and are very comfortable to wear. I would describe the ear cushions and head strap as pillow soft. The included hard case is sturdy and provides excellent protection. The case has a small interior sleeve to store cables and accessories. There is also an interior tag that shows the proper way to fold and insert the headphones into the case. Bose has set the bar once again for the wireless noise canceling headphone market. They have completely exceeded everything else that has come before it. They are expensive, but if you want the best noise canceling performance available, then Bose Ultra is what you want to get..

One of the best out there!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m always looking for headphones that provide excellent noise cancellation when working with noisy tools or to just block out the world when needing to recharge. The Bose Quietcomfort Ultras are perfect for just that. There are so many features included in these headphones, but to me the most important quality beyond the sound, is the ability to filter out the noise. When I have these headphones on and use the noise cancelling feature, I am immersed in a sound that is absent of the outside world’s distractions. But let’s talk about the features that enhance these headphones. The first thing I noticed when I opened the box was the hard-shell case that is made of a leather type of material with a zipper that encompasses nearly the entire perimeter of the case. There is a two-inch cloth material hinge that connects the top to the bottom of the case. Within the case are molded cut outs for the headphone’s cups. This is to ensure a secure fit when stored. Contained in the case is a 12” USB-A to USB-C charging cord and a stereo cable with mini jacks on each end for legacy devices. The headphones themselves are a hard plastic for the ear cups and strap that connects the two headphones’ cups. The portion of the ear cups that contact your ears are a soft leather material and so is the strap that touches your head. There is a power / Bluetooth button, a button that controls the play or pause, skip forward or backward functions depending on how many times the button is pressed. There is a slide/touch button to control the volume and the sound modes. The slide-touch button can be configured for different functions based on your needs. For phone calls there is an included microphone on the Bose which does a great job of filtering out background noise while using the phone. Once you open the packaging for the headphones you are directed to use the smart label to go to the Bose life site to setup your account, download the app for your smartphone to complete the setup process. Within the application you can customize your sound with the different sound modes and a 3 band EQ. Once I completed the setup I was up and running. The sound quality was very good right out of the box and seemed to improve the more I used the headphones. The bass was deep and smooth with clear midrange and crisp highs. Regardless of the type of music I was listening to, the sound was rich and full and brought me into the sound stage. I was able to hear sounds that I hadn’t heard before in the music. The included sound modes consist of the Quiet, Aware, Immersion. Quiet mode removes the outside world so you can hear nothing but the content you are listening to. Aware provides quality sound while letting you stay conscious of your surroundings. Immersion provides realistic sound orientation as you move your head and surrounds you with sound from all directions. It is truly immersive and brings you into the content that you are listening to. Battery life is said to be twenty-four hours and I have been using these headphones for well over a week without charging and they seem to go for ever. Overall, these are one of the best headphones that I have ever had. Between the sound quality, noise cancellation, comfort, and the build quality, you would be hard pressed to find a sound for the value.

Excellent Noise Cancelling Headphones
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have recently started going back into the office, but after working from home for 3 years, I can't stand all the noise in the office. I needed something to help me focus, and the Bose QuietComfort Ultra headphones are just what I needed. These are my first noise cancelling headphones and I'm very impressed. HARDWARE: The build quality is excellent. The headphones fit nicely in the compact case that is provided. A nice touch they added is an image inside the case to show you the proper position the headphones should go in the case. The headphones are comfortable to wear, from the ear cups, to the padding against your head. USABILITY: The headphones have two buttons, one for controlling the music and audio modes and the other for power and phone connectivity. It's easy to switch audio modes, pause, change tracks, etc. There is a virtual slider on the ear cup for changing the volume. I really like how easy it is to change the volume using that slider without having extra buttons. SOUND QUALITY: The sound quality is excellent. I'm not a hardcore audiophile, but I can appreciate the sound quality is much better than the top tier ear buds I previously used. What I'm really impressed is with the noise cancellation. I didn't realize how much noise it would filter out. I tested it at work and the phone conversations were almost completely filtered out, whereas they used to drive me nuts. As i write this review I'm wearing the headphones so I can focus while my son is watching TV. FEATURES: The setup with the app was very easy and the app itself is great. By you have 3 modes configured by default: Quiet, Aware and Immersion. You can add or remove any that you want and you can customize the amount of noise cancelling, on a scale of 1-10. You can adjust the EQ using the app, I like to boost the bass. The only negative think about these headphones is the voice it uses for feedback, like telling you what device it's connected to or what mode you just switched to. It's just really horrible and hard to listen to. Fortunately you don't have to listen to it very often, but there are much better voice readers out there, so it's kind of disappointing. Ultimately, the voice doesn't affect the experience all that much. BOTTOM LINE: I am so glad I have these headphones when for when I go into the office, but I'll be using them for more than just noise cancellation. The audio quality is superior to anything I've had before, so I'll be reaching for these headphones next time I listen to music. I would definitely recommend these headphones.

Comfort and Quality
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been a fan of Bose headphones for a long time, and I was very excited to get my hands on the new QuietComfort Ultra series. These headphones deliver some of the best noise cancellation, spatial audio, and general sound quality. These definitely live up to the hype! The visual design is sleek with a premium feel. The aluminum parts and the soft leather ear cushions look and feel incredible. They can also fold flat and fold up, which makes them easy to store and carry in the included zippered case. The build quality of the headphones is not unsurprisingly top-notch. They feel sturdy and durable, without being too heavy or bulky. The headband is adjustable and padded, and the ear cups swivel to fit my ears comfortably. The buttons are well-placed and easy to access, and the headphones come with a USB-C cable for charging, a 3.5mm audio cable for wired listening, and an airplane adapter for travel. The sound quality of the headphones is great. The sound is balanced and detailed, with rich bass, clear mids, and crisp highs. They are great for streaming apps and created a great sense of immersion, while doing an incredible job. The most impressive feature of the headphones is the noise cancellation. Bose has always been the leader in this field, and they have outdone themselves again. The headphones have 11 levels of noise cancellation, including environment passthrough, that you can adjust using the Bose Music app or by pressing a button on the left ear cup. The noise cancellation is effective and adaptive, blocking out any unwanted sounds from your environment. They don’t produce a high pressure feeling like many other products in the same space. Overall, these are worth every penny for their amazing performance, features, design, and comfort. They are the best headphones I have ever owned, and I would highly recommend them to anyone who loves high quality audio and wants to enjoy it in peace!

Overall the best on the market
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In a nutshell, these are fantastic. The noise cancelling is second to none. You pop these on and you get quiet - without the white noise or pressure of other headphones. These work extremely well in that regard. The build quality is excellent - the "leather" is soft and comfortable and the plastics are high-end. The "clamp" does not apply too much pressure, so you can wear it for extended periods without discomfort. Ive had them on for 4-5 hours at once and its always pleasent. The only negative I can list is the volume - it doesnt get as loud as some other options. That said, its a minor gripe.

“Immersive Audio Experience with Bose QuietComfort
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently had the pleasure of trying out the Bose QuietComfort Ultra wireless headphones, and I must say they exceeded my expectations in various aspects. Sound Quality: The audio performance of these headphones is truly exceptional. The clarity and depth of the sound make for an immersive experience, whether you're enjoying music, movies, or podcasts. Comfort: Comfort is paramount during extended use, and the QuietComfort Ultra delivers. The plush ear cushions and lightweight design ensure a snug fit without causing discomfort, making them ideal for long listening sessions. Unlike my AirPods Max, which I can only stand for an hour. Battery Life: One of the standout features is the impressive battery life. I was pleasantly surprised by how long these headphones lasted on a single charge, providing uninterrupted entertainment for hours on end. Noise Cancellation: The noise-canceling capabilities of the QuietComfort Ultra are nothing short of phenomenal. They effectively block out ambient noise, creating a serene environment that allows you to fully enjoy your content without distractions. again, in comparison to my AirPods, max, which I thought was the best, this is even better. Build Quality: The build quality is top-notch, reflecting Bose's commitment to durability and aesthetics. The sleek design, combined with sturdy construction, gives these headphones a premium feel. Conclusion: In conclusion, the Bose QuietComfort Ultra headphones offer a complete package for audio enthusiasts. With outstanding sound quality, exceptional comfort, impressive battery life, and unparalleled noise cancellation, they stand out as a top choice in the wireless headphone . so if you’re in the market to buy one, I highly suggest the boys, hands-down.

Bose Never Disappoints
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hey there! I recently got my hands on the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Wireless Noise Cancelling Over-the-Ear Headphones in Smoke White, and I'm absolutely thrilled with the experience. Working from home in technical support, I spend a significant amount of time on calls, and the noise-canceling feature of these headphones is a game-changer. It creates a serene bubble, shutting out any distractions and allowing me to focus on my tasks with unmatched clarity. The audio quality is phenomenal; whether I'm on a call or immersing myself in music during breaks, the sound is crisp, clear, and rich. One thing that stands out is the comfort. Since I spend extended hours in front of the computer, having comfortable headphones is crucial. The plush ear cushions and the lightweight design make these headphones a joy to wear for extended periods. It's like having a personal retreat for my ears! The battery life is impressive, easily lasting through my workday without needing a recharge. The seamless Bluetooth connectivity also adds to the convenience, allowing me to move around freely without being tethered to my desk. Worth upgrading for
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bose is a leader in active noise cancelling and have been around for a few decades, I've been using Quiet Comfort products for a long time and they never stop impress me! QuietComfort Ultra replaced my old QC35 pair of headphones and it's totally worth the upgrade! Great build quality and new Bluetooth standard support with longer wireless range, USB-C charging and of course excellent noise cancelling performance. Headphones are controlled just by 2 buttons and touch sensitive volume control slider on the right ear cup (sliding power switch that my QC35 used to have is gone and I actually kinda miss the ability to tell the power state just by looking at the switch position). Controls are smooth and voice annunciations are now brief, Bose Music phone app is available to look at the settings visually. QC Ultra introduced a brand new Immersive Audio feature - it expands sound stage so instead of hearing music "in the center of your head" you can actually make it feel like you are in front of the sound stage (and it either stays that direction when you move or stage can move with you making it feel like you are listening to the speakers in the room, not headphones). Noise cancelling performance is actually very good for the size and weight of the headphones (I'm comparing to professional aviation Bose A20 set) - air conditioning noise, fans, street noise just goes away. Bose products do last a very long time and you can actually buy a replacement ear cushion set when they wear out. I would definitely recommend this headset, it will serve you well for many years.

Impressive OverTheEar Headphones!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this Bose Quiet Comfort Ultra headphones! I usually don't like wearing over the ear headphones, from vary reasons(bulky, uncomfortable etc) but do i love this headphones. Seems that Bose knock it out the park with this model! I tried them even during my workouts at the Gym sometimes i was even forgetting i had them on (no problem during my running session) they grip so good and are so puffy and light. Material and built quality is Top Tier and the sound is immersive that makes you feel the music not just hear it. And talking about hearing, this headphones are champion in Noise Cancelation and Awareness mode too. With a single touch you can toggle thru the 3 different modes and i'm telling you they are all good! The connection it's strong and 30ft are more then enough for my need. I had it connected to my phone as well as my Tv and i was able to fast switch between them i taught that was pretty cool. I tried a phone call while outside on a normal walk and the person on the other end was contempt with the quality of the microphone. It is my first pair of OverTheEar headphone that i really like and i can see myself wearing them for a long time to come!

Great sound and noise cancellation, mixed controls
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upon opening the box, these are pretty great headphones from initial impressions. Because they fold up, the case is pretty small and compact (and a hard shell, not a flimsy cloth bag). Inside, there is a small pocket to hold the included adapters for 2.5mm to 3.5mm and a USB-A to USB-C. The headphones themselves are high quality with solid build and metal construction, with no creaks whatsoever. Each side extends smoothly with the right amount of friction and resistance. The new feature is a slider on the bottom of the right ear cup that controls the volume. It works pretty well and quickly. Noise cancellation works pretty well in my testing, and sound quality is excellent, with deep bass and good mid/highs - typical Bose to have good sound. The Immersive Mode is a bit strange though. While it can provide either the typical ‘fixed’ Spatial sound or the head-tracking Spatial mode, the head-tracking is weird in that it “moves” with your head and isn’t instant. The best way to describe it is as if there is a speaker in front of you that is locked onto your face, and when you move your head, it takes about a half second for the speaker to reposition itself in front of you. The buttons on the right cup that control everything are mostly intuitive. The Bose app works as intended - you can set the different EQ as well as modes for noise cancelling. The two main issues I had with the device were the auto play/pause and pairing - sometimes when I would take the headphones off, or put them back on, they wouldn’t detect the change and either not resume playing or wouldn’t stop. For pairing, upon powering on sometimes it would not say it was connected, even after waiting up to 30 seconds. I am sure that these two could be fixed with a software update. All in all, these headphones deliver on the fundamentals of premium build quality, impressive sound/noise cancellation, and long battery life. It is just some of the more advanced features that seem to not be completely ironed out.
