    Extremely disappointed with Best Buy and Bose

    I bought this in May of 2023. Great sound although low on treble. Great for portability. Battery problems. 6 months after I bought it, I noticed it wasn't holding a charge. Had to recharge within a few hours, also, wouldn't charge past 30%. Contacted Best Buy they said they do not handle warranty issues, I had to contact Bose directly. That upset me. I am putoff by any business that does not stand behind what they sell. I went to Bose Warranty site, 4 weeks ago, filled out online return info. Got message they would send me a new item once they receive the old one. I would be receiving a return code and address by email which in a month's time I have not. Submitted another request, told same info and yet nothing received. Done with Best Buy and Bose

    Great...in the beginning.

    Enjoy it while you can. After about a year, it will start to randomly shut off while listening to music. You'll have to keep coming back and turning the power back on multiple times. Oh, and it won't connect to the app. When the warranty period of a year is over, Bose will just tell you to ship back to them and buy another one.

    Loses Bluetooth Connectivity

    We bought 4 of these for our family and to enjoy the ability to link together. Two of the four we purchased started having bluetooth connectivity issues shortly after purchase. We had one replaced but had the same results so we though it was the phone we were connecting to. Unfortunately we have the same results with the S24 Ultra we just purchased. Sound is great when it did connect, but loses bluetooth connectivity randomly after short use. Have involved Bose tech support (they replaced the one unit) but the issue again remains.

    My speaker, after a year of ownership, has begun randomly turning off. Sometimes I have to turn it on 3 times in a row before it actually stays on and lets me use it. I use it for conference calls at work , so I turn it on and off a lot and it's clearly not built for that. I honestly expect higher quality from Bose. The sound quality is really good but it's a bit annoying to use if it just randomly shuts off on you.

    I played the speaker out of the box for about 20 minutes. Then put it on charge for 2 hours. One minute of play time and it said that I needed to charge again. I charged it for 3 more hours and it would not turn back on. I’ve had Bose speakers before and this is the first time a speaker would not charge and hold it for only 20 minutes. It’s going back!

    Not good! In the past I’ve stayed away from Bose products as in my experience they are just a well marketed brand but in reality not any better than a ton of their competitors. However when purchasing a portable speaker I thought I’d give Bose another chance. Due to its relatively good reviews and competitive pricing. Unfortunately, Bose has not wooed me back. I want to preface I purchased this speaker to listen to podcasts at work. I do not listen to loud music or anything that would tax the drivers in this speaker. I have probably listened to 20-30 hrs total time in the past 6 months. To my surprise the speakers have blown and it sounds awful. I’m not sure how this is possible but I can’t even listen to dialogue through this thing anymore. It is a giant paperweight now. Sorry Bose, just not worth it with all the other great options out there.

    Simply awful! Will not charge past 20% Bose app is just another confusing detail to deal with. Sound is mediocre compared to others in it’s price class. Obviously this particular Bose product is a complete letdown for those who own vintage Bose speakers. Will be returning.

    After full charge, Battery lasted 1.5 hours - did this 4 times, same results. Retuned to Best Buy 20 days after purchase, but could only return after 14 if not a “member”, cashier wanted to sell “member” @ $50 that way Best Buy could return - major money grab. Opened warranty request directly with Bose - 2 minute process, returned the one from Best Buy and received a new one directly from Bose. Will test again, if battery life is subpar on new speaker will return for $$$.

    i dont know how this got so many positive reviews. I usually have all my audio needs catered by bose. But this speaker under performed extremely and is going to be retuned. I only put a good value because had it perform like bose products normally do it would of been worth every penny. The set up and use of it is very simple but still overall a let down.

    Unit quit charging after 45 days. Charging port is not engineered to BOSE quality. Been using BOSE for forty years. This sounds fine for the price point, but it is nonetheless JUNK. Vert dissatisfied.

    Bought this product on sale literally 1 month ago and now it will not connect with any charger, so is effectively trash. Was great while it worked, but mine has never been subjected to water damage, extreme heat, etc. Kept it indoors and pampered for 1 month. Hopefully Bose will provide decent support since it is no longer returnable to *Best Buy.

    So far, no good! I can't get it to connect through Bluetooth. I've read all the instructions that came in the box, I've checked on the Bose website and Google. No luck! I'm returning it & hopefully they accept the return because I live 60 miles away so I can only get there when I go that direction, which is not often.
