They’re Great!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headphones are great! For open earbuds, the sound is better than anything out there. They are cheaper ones that are $160 to $200 that get louder, and can be used in more daily activities, but they don’t sound as good. Bose bass is clear with music, and they sound great with videos/podcasts compared to others i have. The next most important thing is the fit is incredible! They are super secure and you barely feel them and it’s so unique and they look great. The button is very clicky. My issues with them is they don’t get loud enough, my ear pockets are a little bit bigger than any of the advertising so the speakers are millimeters further away from my ear canal. I also think for $300 it should have wireless charging. Other than that I recommend them for sure!

Bose open earphones
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product beats my expectations. The sound quality is excellent. Although is not as loud as the in-ear ones but for something designed not to damage your ears, it’s perfect!

Innovative, for better or worse
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As an owner of a lot of different Bose products, I have tried some of their past generation earbuds, and every single product they put out is nothing but top quality. Their newest earbuds called Ultra Open-Ear True Wireless Open Earbuds are also of high-quality and innovation, and with that being said, this design is definitely innovative. The best way I can describe these earbuds is, you wear them kind of like someone would wear clip-on earrings, the best thing I can say about them is once you get used to them, you won’t even notice that they are there. Pros: high-quality and good sound. innovative, crisp clear sound, long lasting battery, nice charging case and the app is easy to use and very much recommended. Con: this particular design won’t be for everybody, some people just won’t like them because they are different than traditional earbuds. Since the speaker is not in your ear canal, they are not noise canceling. Also they are not as loud as they could be. The thing is these do get loud because if I push the earbud in further in my ear with my hand, the sound gets extremely loud. But since it just hangs on your earlobe, some of the volume is lost to the environment. Getting used to these earbuds might take a couple of hours but when you do get used to them, you won’t notice that they are there. You won’t feel anything since they are lightweight and you wont feel them tugging on your ear or anything like that. It took me a few minutes to learn how to properly put them on, but once I understood the assignment, putting them on and taking them on off was a breeze. You can even do it one handed. On a serious note, once you are set up with the settings you like, connected to your phone and comfortable wearing these earbuds, something funny happens. As you’re listening to your music and walking around, the music sounds like it is coming from the heavens, that is the best way I can describe what I’m talking about because you don’t put these earbuds directly in your ear canal, and the earbud just kind of hangs on your earlobe while the music is being pumped into your head. In conclusion, I am giving these earbuds 4/5 stars only because the volume just doesn’t get loud enough for my liking. Everything else is just personal preference. Some people will love these, some people won’t care for them.

Pretty Good
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought these mainly for cycling. I do 4+ hour rides mainly on the road and have been looking for something to replace a set of Beats Fits Pro because earbuds that fit in ear like the Beats and Airpods Pro irritate my ears after a couple of hours. Have tried out Shokz bone conduction and OpenFit pro and air versions and the Bose Ultra Open from an overall package view is the best of them with a few caveats. Fit and comfort - once you get past the weirdness of putting these on you forget them. They are very comfy and lightweight and stay on your ear even on rough trails Controls - These use buttons and they are great! They use a button rather than touch controls which works when wearing gloves or sweating or in the rain. This is what puts them over the Shokz as the Shokz I found to be fussy using touch controls especially while riding as I found them fussy, limited in features, and inconsistent. Sound Quality - pretty good. Music and audible books sound great maybe a little better than the Shokz OpenFit and Air. Dislikes and Issues: 1) the volume doesn't get high enough - because these are open air type headphones it competes with outside noise (cars, road noise, wind) so in certain situations the sound gets overpowered - I mainly notice this with audio books I just can't hear them at times...music tends to work better. 2) I have had issues with the earbuds just disconnecting. I had to resort to bringing the case with me to put the buds into the case when and if it disconnects to reconnect them. I returned the first set and it might have been a one off as I haven't run into that issue yet with this set. Otherwise pretty good.

Best Open Earbuds
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent sound! Plenty of bass for an open earbud. It rumbles! Mids and highs are crisp and clear. Make sure you adjust them correctly in your ear, play with them until you get the best sound. Very comfortable so you can wear them all day. And the battery life is amazing!!! I would like them to be a little bit louder because in noisy environments they fall short. If you will be in mostly in noisy environments, go with the QC Ultra Earbuds.

Bose - New open ear buds
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So the fit is excellent, you will forget you have them on. Please remember these are open ear so they are made to bear everything, your music and everythibg around you. The volume is slightly low so you end up using them in the upper volumn range but stiff very private. They sound very good. I do wish however that they sold them for around $199 as they are a bit steep for what control you have versus all their other products and even though its bluetooth 5.3, you dont have multiple decice capability automatically as you notmally would, its a manual process. Should get an update to change that soon. Overall, i love them, but do feel they are overpriced. Was going to return and wait for price decrease but they just feel like they are not there and dont bother me like all the in ear buds do!

Would not recommend to anybody period
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The fit is amazing, very light weight I give it 5 stars. The overall rating I give 2 stars 1 because the incoming call volume is horrible. I literally can hear any and everything they’re not the least bit noise canceling. Now can I wear them at work and most think they’re a thick pair of earrings yes but not worth my 320.00 I gave them to my husband. Beautiful design but would not recommend to an enemy. The volume is low compared to apple air pods. I spent more time saying what did you say. May be okay for working out listening to low volume but for anything else.

Love them
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love my new earbuds. I gave it a 4 stars only because of you are in a noisy place you really have to put the volume up to the max in prefer to hear. Besides that, they are a great pair of buds. They do not hurt my inner ear because they’re not in my inner ear like all other buds. I love the fit and feel of them and they sound great.

Highly recommend
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was pleasantly surprised and shocked at how comfortable they are to wear and the sound quality is remarkable. After a few seconds I forget I’m wearing these earbuds. Others have commented on the lack of base and volume. In my experience if positioned correctly neither is true. I’ve used them to listen to Audiobooks, music and even movies and find them great. They are a little pricey but in my opinion well worth it, I would recommend Bose Ultra Open Earbuds in a heartbeat.

||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Obviously it’s great sound quality as it’s Bose. Just wish it was a little louder. Guess that’s what you get with open ear buds. I do really like the way they fit.

They’re okay
|Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very stylish, like the color options, has good audio, but i think im the type of person that prefers very rich bass and overall very loud music IN my ear. But definitely cool if you’re genuinely looking for something to use that sounds well with that open ear feature so you can be aware of your surroundings.

Love these!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I absolutely love these. My only complaint is when making phone calls it's muffled and not very high in volume. But music sounds amazing in these. I only wish that I could buy a case protective case for it in town nobody has any. But I would recommend these and they're so comfortable to wear.

Finally something for people that ear buds hate
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've probably tried every ear bud known to man and returned them all. If you sweat a lot while working out, or if ear buds pop out when you chew or talk, then these are for you. They never ever fall out whether I'm running in the heat or laying on my back doing bench presses. My only wish is if they were a bit louder to make up for the volume loss if you like to wear yours higher on your lobe. Mine seem to fit best in a position that has the least amount of volume. I like to hear my surroundings but not that much. But it still isnt worth dropping a star on the rating. I love these things.

Good for what designed for
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are great for what they are designed for which good sound and still hear your surroundings. I wish they were louder and almost returned them because in some setting may not be loud enough for you. At high volume people right next to you can hear them. Great for traveling with my wife and still hear what she is trying to tell me but not so great at a loud gym.

Posted .I'm glad you found your Ultra Open Earbuds comfortable, Arsen, though I am sad to hear you returned them. If you're not getting enough volume from the earbuds, it's a good idea to check they're being worn optimally, so the sound is angled towards your ears: https://support.bose.com/s/display-articles?productId=01t8c00000OlcI5AAJ&articleId=ka08c000001brKkAAI&language=en_US. Posted .Hi Victor, I'm glad you like the fit and sound of your Ultra Open Earbuds! Due to the buds' open-ear design, an excessive amount of wind noise can indeed make it hard for you to hear your audio content. As for the more serious problem of not being able to take calls, make sure your earbuds are using their latest firmware; version 4.0.22 was released last year to improve the customer's experience on calls. If that doesn't help, and if our support team can be of any further assistance to you, then please don't hesitate to reach out: https://support.bose.com/s/get-help-landing-page?language=en_US. Fit caused issues
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They did not fit good on my ears. I dont know if my earlopes are too big on the part the headphones go, but they just didnt feel secure and the volume was very low. I could only hear my music if the volume was turned up about 80% full volume. Anything less than 50% and i couldnt hear it, unless i pushed the speaker part down into my ear. The sound quality for when i could hear it was great. For me it was just the fit that caused issues. I had to return.
