Customers are saying

Customers appreciate the engaging gameplay, enjoyable story, and well-designed battle system of Pre-Owned Bravely Second: End Layer. Many also praised the game's music. A minor drawback mentioned by some was the need for repetitive gameplay to progress. Overall, the positive feedback on the core game mechanics outweighs the single negative comment.

Bravely Second: A Great Sequel to Bravely Default

Before my review, I have to say that I'm biased because I love this franchise. If you liked Bravely Default, then the sequel is a must grab. It has returning characters and a whole new story to get lost in. The game has new features that allow you to just casually play and take a break from the main campaign. You will have to grind for levels, but that is expected from a JRPG.

The 3DS needs more great RPGs like this! Good job system, control over battle frequency, enjoyable story. A bit too much grinding, but it isn't horrible.

I did like playing this and it was nice to see how the story continued for these characters after the first one. I will say though that I enjoyed Bravely Default's story (and it's twists) much better than this, even factoring in the not so well done second half of the first game. I liked the music better, the characters were much more fun and blended well together more than the two new additions in the sequel, this one I just didn't care about the new characters and I really tried to give them a chance but they just weren't doing it for me. I feel like the developers improved the job system in the best way but the story and the other characters fell flat for me. I'd say if you were a fan of the first one, you need to play this one just to complete it and see what happens with the first game's characters. I'm glad I played it but I probably won't replay any time soon.

Bravely Second is the sequel to Bravely Default. The story for both games is well told and has some breathtaking moments. The Brave/Default combat system is quite unique and well-balanced. The enhancements in this game make the battles much more fun.

Bravely Second continues with the story of Bravely Default, which breaks from the general pattern defined by its spiritual parent, Final Fantasy, where the worlds change completely between entries (well, entries that don't begin with the same Roman numeral, anyway). I'm still early in my playthrough, but so far, it's up to par with BD. The music isn't quite as good, in my opinion, and they do reuse a lot of maps, but the game remains fun with enough changes to make it feel like a different experience. This is absolutely worth picking up if you liked the first one.

for those who were fans of the first installment of the game, this sequel should satisfy your need to fill in the whole that was created after you completed the previous game. great story, similar controls and gameplay you are used to. for those who are just getting into the series it is highly recommended (but not required) to play the first game since even as soon as the introduction there are references to the last game. great RPG style game if you like the genre.

If you were burned by Bravely Default, don't worry. This game doesn't do the same thing that the first's second half did. In fact, Bravely Second takes everything good about the first and improves it. Better battle chain conditions, more jobs and abilities to learn, new fun mini games, Abilink and summon friends, and fun strategic combat. The story is much improved as well. All around Bravely Second is a very strong showing for one of the best RPGs of the year.

While uniquely different in someways to Bravely Default the game this is the sequel to, it offers a great unique experience. The music was done by a new group and is either a love or hate experience if you especially liked the soundtrack from the first game. Gameplay and battle options are taken to a new depth with more options than ever. Its a fun ride with unique and fun characters that will stick with you even once you stop playing the game.

Bravely Default blew JRPG fans away on its release, but the sequel takes everything the first one did and improves on that formula. A necessary game for fans of old school JRPGs.

This is the second installment of the Bravely series with the "old school battle mechanics and the well designed character art how could you not want to give this a try. Game play wise its more of what you experienced in the original with a few additional classes & skills, nothing innovative but this game is marketed towards the old school JRPG crowd. If your looking for a JRPG with a good story for your 3ds then give this one a try. Its highly suggested that you play the 1st game in order to follow the story plot as it will make more sense.

The bravely series from Square is amazing for the 3DS. For those who are on the switch and may be looking back, if you like Octopath traveler you may like the bravely series. The 3DS is still a great handheld with an amazing library. If you have someone into classic style RPG's. Definitely get the Bravely series for 3DS.

This game is amazing. If you are a fan of Bravely Default, this is a must buy. The combat is verty easy to learn for veterans and new players, and the continuation of the story from the original is fantastic. Best game I have played in a long time.

The unique thing I must say about this game is it really lets you play the game the way you want to. Prefer a challenge? Ramp up the difficulty and don't turn off random encounters ever. Want the game easier? Grind away then turn off random encounters during dungeons. I would highly recommend this game!

I have always enjoyed the classic JRPGs of the 16-bit era. While the graphics, sound, and gameplay are far more advanced than those of the SNES and Genesis, the depth of story is there and ready to pull you in! I loved the first Bravely Default, and this one even more. Classic turn-based JPRG at its finest!

Fun combat system and story! The characters are good but there are inconsistencies in the story for Bravely Default. It is still a fun game and I can replay this game over and over. But I can't replay Bravely Default. Still I think Bravely Default had a better story. I recommend playing it first.

Ok, so I absolutely loved Bravely Default, to the point where I essentially made sure I 100% completed it (maxing out all job tiers, finding all secrets, etc.). I put a solid 80-110 hrs of gameplay into it, and it is one that I may very well run through again in the future. As soon as Bravely Second got announced, I was hyped up for it! The battle system in this game series is unique enough to not feel stale, while still remaining loyal to many of the TRPGs (Tactical battle/Turn-based Role Playing Games) most fundamental and enjoyable mechanics. I've already put many hours into Bravely Second, and I feel like there's still a lot of gameplay left, which is great. If you like to play the generic Action/FPS type games with a campaign mode that maybe will last you 10 hours tops to complete, then this game is not for you. If solid gameplay, character progression, and a storyline that will pull you in and give you many many more hours of enjoyment is what you're after...then Bravely Second: End Layer will surely deliver for you!

It is a great RPG. If you enjoyed the first game you will enjoy this one as well. I still really like the combat system, and the job mechanics. The graphics are good, but about the same as the first Bravely Default. I would strongly recommend this to anyone who enjoys RPGs.
