Great espresso
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been using this Breville espresso machine for a few years now, and I couldn't be more satisfied. Having owned both a lower-end espresso machine and a Nespresso in the past, nothing compares to the quality and performance of the Breville. It consistently delivers exceptional espresso. While there was definitely a learning curve initially, the patience and effort were absolutely worth it.

Great appliance for Espresso fans and baristas!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great machine if you are a true espresso connoisseur and/or have barista experience! Makes a phenomenal cup truly tailored to your individual preferences as the appliance is quite customizable. This machine is designed for semi-pros who have a basic understanding of both grinding whole beans then the brewing process as their are settings that need to be configured respectively. That being said, anyone could learn how to use it but will have to do some research online about the basic concepts of coffee grinding and brewing along with some experimentation to get the proper settings (but this will vary coffee to coffee). I will say this has allowed my wife and I to no longer need to visit Starbucks and other such coffee shops as this really brings the coffee shop to home! This is not an intuitive machine to use in that if you have guests or kids (old enough to drink coffee of course), you will initially have to make their drink for them as it is too complicated for them to figure out on their own, unless they have experience with using a portafilter, grinding and brewing. BEWARE: This machine is semi-automatic! This is not a good or bad thing, just a fact and for your awareness. This is why the coffee is always consistently good but essentially, you need to understand the basic principles of coffee making (like on a Barista level - hence the name) before you use it (you can YouTube it for the most part). This is not a machine whereas you select the type of coffee you want and it instantly does all the work, there are various manual stages that require you to know what you are doing so do not buy it and return it because it was too hard to use or figure out! PROs: - Eliminates going to the coffee shop as it the same level of quality (if not better in some cases) surprisingly - Color touch screen along with software adds automation to take the legwork of making a particular type of coffee (for the most part) but again, there are still two (three if you want milk) distinctly manual stages you will need to perform - Truly makes a remarkable cup of "real coffee" types and allows you to create and save custom drinks too - The built in self cleaning options for the brewer, milk frothing and water descaling are neat and useful. They neglected the hopper cleaning process however (see below). - When water tray (drip till) gets full, you will see the water level EMPTY ME pop up slowly as it fills (manually) - When water is low, you will be notified CONs: - Expensive but good quality costs money and this would be of good example of you get what you pay for! - Machine could have been QA'ed better as far as on screen verbiage (see attached screenshots) - Hard to get a hold of their support and customer service is not great as far as follow-up (had to call vendor as they did not return tickets I submitted). Might be a training issue. - As previously pointed out, the water temperature could be hotter but its not a deal breaker as its still "entry level hot". One workaround that helps is to preheat mug or cup in advance. - Milk frothing was not designed well as far as self cleaning as it makes a mess. - Cleaning the underneath the hopper grinding component (after removing) it very hard! If all the small particles of beans are not removed, you will not be able to secure the grinder back in place. The only way to clean successfully I found is to use an air can, which as you can imagine is very messy. This is poor design in my opinion as consideration should have been taken to make cleaning much easier. - No way to remotely update firmware for typos or misinformation (see screenshot) so machine has to be sent to HQ Bottom line: Its a great machine overall, I just think my expectations were higher due to the cost. My standards are akin to the Bose and Apple standards whereas you almost always get consistently great customer service and product support. I think if they can work on that, this could be a 4, maybe 5 star product. If this was at a lower price point, my review would reflect accordingly and I wouldn't be as critical but in this category, I expect perfection or close to it.

Perfect Coffee Machines at Home
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently purchased this espresso machine, and I’m thrilled with its performance and design! The machine itself is sleek, with a modern aesthetic that fits perfectly in my coffee corner. The integrated grinder (Baratza) is a game-changer—it ensures fresh coffee grounds every time, which truly elevates the flavor. One of my favorite features is how user-friendly the controls are. From grinding to brewing, everything feels intuitive and well-thought-out. The steam wand is powerful and works like a charm for frothing milk, making it easy to craft a café-style cappuccino or latte. Cleaning and maintenance are also straightforward. The accessories, like the tamper station and included tools, make the process seamless and organized. It’s great for anyone looking to improve their home coffee setup, whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned barista. Overall, I’d highly recommend this machine for its quality, functionality, and ease of use. A fantastic investment for coffee lovers!

Worth the money
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I haven’t spent money on Starbucks or any coffee shop since I bought this last month. It’s easy to set up, use and clean. It’s a very good middle ground espresso machine I suppose as far as cost goes from the research I did. But I don’t think I’d get anything else more pricey. I also really like the grinder that’s built in- only complaint is the grounds make a mess, so I set a small bowl underneath it. The steamer works very well and is easy to use. This is our first espresso machine and we are pleased! Worth the money!

Buy it. You Won’t Regret It.
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had this espresso machine since 12/2022 and IT IS AWESOME. I had previously bought a few others and ended up having to return them because something always went wrong. But… this machine has definitely been GOOD to me. The first thing to go on the other machines we’re always the grinders, and the grinder on this machine has not skipped a beat since the day I got it. The frothing works 100% legit and it works amazing. The wand is easy to use and wipe down. I completely recommend this machine to any NEW espresso enthusiasts.

Barista at Home
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great little home machine. I have a Starbucks background so I wish the pucks came out a little cleaner, it takes a little calibration but they still come out pretty wet. But all in all great for the home.

My life saver
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been using it for almost 1,5 years yet and if I had a chance to choose again I’d make the same choice. Good coffee every day for just 1 minute. The only concern is that while making you espresso it splashes everywhere around and I have to wipe the machine itself and surface around it. It’s not a del breaker for me, just one more reason to keep kitchen clean. I bought some additional supplies like a bucket and a new havier tamper

Excellent product
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent product. It takes practice to achieve the desired coffee consistency, but once you achieve it you will enjoy it. The temperature is reached in a short time, as promoted. Follow the instructions and the maintenance indicated by the manufacturer for a good performance.

Coffee shop coffee...at home!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don't drink coffee, but I bought this espresso machine to make "fancy" coffee for my wife. And she LOVES it! I've also made some drinks for some friends and they say it tastes just like it is from a coffee shop. The great thing is this machine will pay for itself in no time, compared to getting coffee shop coffee everyday! This machine is very easy to use and is built to last!

Great Machine
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had this machine for a couple weeks now and have not had an issue. It comes with everything you need to make great espresso. Of course there are additional tools you can get to further increase your experience but out of the box it is wonderful. I pull about 6-8 shots per day, never had any issue so far

Really good espresso BUT
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Makes really good espresso but for the price you’re paying for an espresso machine and grinder so something isn’t going to be all that great… That is the grinder. It does a decent job at grinding but has a lot of retention and if you’re grinding fresh coffee beans then you probably want as little retention as possible. Because of the retention the other problem is the dosing is inconsistent (I single dose) if I put in 18 grams in I might only get 16.8 grams out but the next time 18 grams in I might get 19.4 grams out. If you get this machine and plan on using the grinder then you’ll want to weigh the grounds every time otherwise your espresso will be inconsistent.

The best investment I could've made
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an excellent, excellent machine. The frothing arm element makes this so much more versatile in what it can create and how. It has a little nozzle where it gives you instant hot water, which almost fully eliminates my need for a kettle for tea, too. You'll want to also spring for the cleaning tool kit too, because the frothing nozzle can get clogged and simply soaking it in hot water won't cut it. Most importantly, considering how much money my husband and I spend on coffees outside of the house, this thing paid for itself in three months time. An excellent, excellent investment.

Inexpensive coffee shop coffee!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.$5-$7 coffee at home! Once we worked out the coffee grind and amount and heat all worked out, I don’t have to go to coffee shops when I am home!

Issues after not even 1 year of use
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Took us a while to figure out how to use it - but we use it now everyday. We have started having some issues with it and haven’t even had it a full year. It has started not dripping out espresso (sounds like it is and everything is set up correctly). We have to reconnect the wand and turn off and back on before it will work again. Anyone have this issue before? We have flushed it recently just in case that could’ve been the issue.

We love our machine
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Loving this machine. At first it was difficult to arrive at our desired coffee pressure and bean measurement. Once we figured it out our desired cup of coffee we never looked back. I highly recommend . I freaking love this machine!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just got my Barista Pro this week. I think went a lil overboard with accessories maybe. I don’t know lol. It’s my first true espresso machine well actually second. I thought I would save some coins and get the Solis Grind and Infuse. It was a gorgeous machine but it was just sooooooooo frustratingly inconsistent. The Barista Pro is far superior and definitely worth every penny. I’m working on my latte art lol. But this machine is excellent and im so glad i chose it. I have had some excellent shots and the steam wand is powerful.
