Reliable, Efficient, and High-Quality: Brother Col
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Brother color laser printer is a standout option for both home and office use, offering excellent print quality, speed, and reliability. Whether you’re printing vibrant color graphics or sharp black-and-white text, this printer delivers crisp, professional-quality results every time. One of the standout features is the impressive print speed. It handles large print jobs with ease, quickly churning out high-quality pages without compromising on detail. The color reproduction is rich and vibrant, making it perfect for everything from colorful presentations to marketing materials. The black-and-white prints are equally crisp and clear, which is essential for professional documents. Setting up the printer is a breeze, thanks to its intuitive setup process and user-friendly interface. It also offers multiple connectivity options, including Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and mobile printing, so you can easily print from your computer, smartphone, or tablet. The printer is also relatively compact, making it a great fit for any workspace, big or small. Additionally, the toner cartridges have a long life, which reduces the frequency of replacements and helps lower the overall cost of printing. Brother’s reputation for reliability also shines through, as this printer consistently performs well without jams or issues. In conclusion, the Brother color laser printer is a fantastic choice for anyone seeking a fast, high-quality, and cost-effective printer for both home and office use. Great small office printer.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Time had come to get a new color printer as the last one was 7+ years old and failing. I have had Brother in the past and never has any issues with them. This is no exception to that statement. Great printer and fantastic color prints. Here are my highlights and low lights on this item. Highlights: 1. Small footprint for the type of printer it is (color/black-white) 2. Decent paper tray capacity of 250 sheets (wish it was 500 sheets though) 3. Wifi and USB connections available 4. Comes with trial ink refill subscription (I use mine offline, so no network is attached to use this) 5. Duplex printing 6. Easy to replace ink and transfer belt when needed (top-front loading) 7. Scans quickly and produces clear results 8. Large touch screen with minimal icons to avoid screen clutter. 9. Prints out very high quality prints (both single and double sided) 10. installed quickly with a simple USB plugin. Although you will need to download the full suite to get all the extra goodies (fax, scan to email, etc). 11. App lets you print from anywhere you have wifi connection. So printing something to your office on your way to the office is nice feature. 12. It is a lot quieter than my other printers (idle, print and start up) Lowlights: 1. Prints rather slow compared to my other printers in the past 2. double sided prints are achieved by the paper exiting machine and getting sucked back into it. which makes it sometimes grab the already finished sheet in the output tray. 3. No way to de-curl the paper in settings (not that I could find at least) 4. It will auto print at high resolution (1200x1200 I believe) which makes the prints take longer to come out. I set mine to 600x600 and made a huge difference. 5. Ink is expensive for the amount of prints you get. Hopefully it will come down soon. 6. Duty cycle is low (3000 per month), so it is meant for mid/high yield office printing. So if you are a small office, or someone at home. This is a good choice for color printing with duplex option.

Compact solution laser printer for home office
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Brother Laser color printer is an excellent solution for a home office like mine. It’s compact, has faxing and scanning capabilities. The app from Brother is very helpful and easy to set up and connect the printer. While it is a bit slower to print than expected, it works quite fast once it warms up it runs smooth. The following are reasons why it does not deserve 5 stars. First, Connecting to the network and printing from mobile devices is not as easy as I expected and takes bit of work connecting and finding networks. The model I got does not have a wired network option which is unfortunate because my previous printer did and could set up a printer server. Another disadvantage is that the flat scanner is not long enough for legal size documents so I have to use the auto feeder. The touch screen interface is too small and fixed which for an important and useful printer like this is a problem. I tested with iOS and android ups and it works well once set up correctly. Connecting to my laptops was the most time consuming part as it would only recognize windows os. Overall it works well for my needs.

Great Color Printer with Lots of Features
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Brother MFC-L3720CDW I’ve always had good luck with Brother Laser printers. This is my first COLOR Laser printer and so far I’m very happy with the decision. Out of the box the machine looks impressive and professional. The printer is packed inside a heavy plastic bag inside the box. There are places on top to use as handles in which to lift the printer out of the box. I then removed some of the tape holding down the document feeder and etc, and then opened the machine where there was more packing to be removed as well as orange shipping clips on the ends of each of the four toner cartridges. I found a QR code on top of the machine which I scanned and up pops the App Store for the Brother App which I went ahead and installed on my I Phone. The app then walks you through the complete process from registration of the printer to setting up you Wi-Fi connection on the printer. I would say I took my time but the printer was up and running in 20-25 minutes from when I opened the box. I have been using the printer every day for printing and copies. Printing from my phone works effortlessly. I’ve also used it to make copies and even 2-sided copies. The machine will not scan a double sided original, you must manually scan each side of the original on the flatbed, and then the machine can print it as a double sided copy. The LCD panel on the machine walks you through the process step by step. I will also say the LCD screen is bright, clear, and also in color. Touch response on the screen works well and it’s responsive. Speed of printing is reasonable. From my phone or PC, time from when I hit print to when I can remove the printed page is from 40 to 45 seconds depending on if it’s a single or double sided request. Keep in mind 15-20 seconds of that time is for the request to go wirelessly through the process and for the printer to come out of sleep mode. Subsequent copies are much faster. The finished page is crisp and sharp! One of my first copies was that of a $100 Bill which was crisp and fresh. The copy was very slightly darker, but the clarity and shading was excellent. Overall I’m very pleased with the quality of the output from this machine. This machine uses four toner cartridges. When you open the cover, it looks impressive to see them all lined up. As with most new printers they always send “starter” cartridges with smaller capacities. These are supposedly 1000 pages per unit and the regular ones are 1200 per cartridge. I never understand why 200 less pages in a cartridge save anyone any money with the price of toner? There are XL cartridges available that boost the capacity to 3000 pages on the black and 2300 pages on each color. One of the hardest questions a new user will have is if you want to sign up for the Brother Refresh or EZ Print Subscription. The convenience of having the cartridges delivered to your door is great. I can’t make a recommendation because everyone has different thoughts and uses. But the program is available if you would like the convenience and allow the printer to let Brother know your usage each month for shipment of toner. Conclusion: This is a great color printer that offers a lot of features as well as excellent output. This is not a Photo printer and should not be purchased with that use in mind. For the home office, or a small business, this printer should be perfect. It’s easy to use and fast enough to not be a problem. The EZ Print subscription would be great for a small office and alleviate times when there are no spare toner cartridges around. The double sided print option works well to cut paper use and waste. And the most important thing, it produces sharp crisp copies! Keep in mind this machine also features a built in Fax machine. I would definitely suggest this printer to a friend.

GOOD QUALITY OUTPUT / SLOW
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TLDR: The Brother 3720 checks all the boxes for a consumer level digital printer, including the slow speeds. KEY FEATURES 600 x 2400 Printer Resolution 50 Sheet Auto Document Feeder Scan / Copy / Fax 250 Sheet Capacity Primary Tray Optional Additional Trays INITIAL SET-UP & USE Brother has made it extremely easy for initial device set-up. The touchscreen display is small, but completely legible and compared to my other printers, very responsive. Responsive enough that I often found myself double-clicking items not expecting the printer to respond so quickly. In addition to the intuitive touchscreen display, Brother has put a QR Code front and center on the top of the printer that will take you to the required Brother apps, Android or iOS. App installation on my Android phone was simple and quick. This is my first Brother product, necessitating creating an account. No sweat. The Brother Android app and interface on the phone was simple, easy, and intuitive. I tried the Android app numerous times and it makes it easy to negotiate scanning images from the phone to the printer, sending documents, etc. Honestly, the Brother app works much slicker than the app from my old printer, made by one of Brother’s primary competitors. As with all AiO’s, this device can print, scan, and fax. The printer supports a maximum resolution of 600 x 2400dpi. Plenty sharp for printed images and text. Scans are very clean and detailed with resolutions of 1200 x 1200 from the scanner class, but only 600 x 600 using the auto document feeder. Speaking of the ADF, this is one of the most accurate scanner feeders I’ve used in a while. My old AiO always scanned images slightly askew. The Brother’s scans have been straight and true. The fax portion of the Brother is one that is worth mentioning. I understand that faxes are pretty much a thing of the past, but this is one of the few AiO’s I’ve had in a long time that includes a dedicated, analog fax modem. OUTSTANDING. Brother’s primary competitors rely on internet-to-fax services, hopping through multiple servers to accomplish the mission. Brother also offers this service as well, but it is refreshing to see an AiO with a dedicated analog fax option. NEGATIVES My biggest complaint about the laser printer is its speed. Coming from an inkjet, it is an exercise in patience printing with a toner-based printer. Especially, when it needs to wake up from a deep sleep. While Brother says it can print up to 19ppm, I find the actual throughput about ½ that amount. Especially with color. Printing 9 pages from my iPad directly to the Brother took almost 3 ½ minutes. Nearly twice as long as my inkjet, not counting the warm-up time. Lastly is the whole Brother Refresh Ready print subscription. While not just a Brother thing, the idea of a subscription service to use my printer sucks. Basically, paying twice. I didn’t explore the Brother program, but my experience with Brother’s competitor was less than positive. Brother offers this service, but unlike several of their competitors, makes it optional. Thank you Brother for not making the refresh service mandatory. Much appreciated. FINAL THOUGHTS I have never owned a toner-based printer before this. I’ve always used inkjets. They are extremely versatile and have good print quality, but until the refillable tank models were introduced, ink was expensive. However, toner-based printers usually charge a premium for the device, but returning more yield from toner. You can get an inkjet for cheap, especially on Black Friday, so it was always a tradeoff. These digital printers can’t match the ultra-fine resolution and image quality of a high-end photo printer. If you are a professional photographer and print your own archival quality photos, this isn’t your printer. Brother has brought the toner based printers to a level that makes them much more competitive with their inkjet based counterparts. For daily use for the average consumer and/or small business owner, this printer is hard to beat. Images are crisp and clear and printed text has never looked cleaner, besting any and all of my inkjets throughout the years. While slower than an inkjet, speeds are acceptable. The old, inefficient laser printers of the past are long gone, replaced with much more efficient LED’s that perform the same job with much less power. Copies are clean, scans are clean and straight. There isn’t much not to like. RECOMMENDED.

Professional Quality - Home and Office
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Little backstory… Served as Director of IT in a leading Architectural firm in SoCal which required extensive enterprise printing services and infrastructure, more than the average organization. Have in-depth hands-on experience with networked organizational and team printer stations, clerical, accounting, administrative, executive, and state of the art large format printer systems along with the required printer servers. With that said… Our home/office central printer must be an All-in-One with a solid feature set, which I found in the new of Brother’s MFC-L3720CDW Wireless Color All-in-One. Brother’s latest entry in the All-in-One class more than exceeds our requirements for main network printer. Brother’s new MFC-L3720CDW goes beyond having a solid array of features, it offers cutting edge capabilities beyond the base set of print, fax, scan, and copy. It is engineered and built to operate fast and efficiently under office workloads and demanding schedules and meeting staff deadlines. Reliability and professional class printing/scanning/copying/faxing in fast paced office environment is job one. My experience with Brother printers has always been solid. If you are the person who is tasked with keeping an office’s production moving quickly and smoothly you want machines that get the job done. Brother is reliable. Brother’s printer systems come from a company with a 100-year background and since 1968 they have been in the printing business. First with typewriters and then printers. The printers’ User Manual, Quick Setup Guide, and supporting programs/software are first-rate for end-user operation, networking, remotely managing network printers’ settings, mass deployment of printers/driver’s maintenance, “support for remote access to your control panel and touchscreen from a web browser using web-based management,” remote printing, and Cloud services. Too often today products are delivered with insufficient documentation and the tools you truly need to operate, understand, and fully use a product. Brother, I am glad to mention has comprehensive manuals, the User Guide for this printer is a thin 688 pages! Most users will never have a need for all the inclusive information but is handy if you do. Their guides go far beyond the Quick Start and User Guides providing for all aspects of the printer system. If you are deploying and maintaining office systems, you will appreciate the documentation. Note: User Guide is available on-line and works very well and can be downloaded. There are far more specifications and features than I can fit into this review. I can tell you the system is designed to operate in the modern networking on-line and cloud services-based world and I for one cannot imagine another feature for the office environment the MFC-L3720CDW needs. Flexible printer Network Sharing: With Router; connect printer wirelessly to LAN TCP/IP, then users on the local area network (LAN) can simply connect to the printer. Windows 11 users go into settings and add the printer and select your printing preferences. Can connect a single computer with USB 2.0 cable to the printer for an individual PC. That PC then can share the printer connection with others on the network. In our network we can additionally connect the MFC-L3720CDW via USB to Synology NAS for use as a Print Server. NAS users on the local area network (LAN) can then use the shared printer to print, fax, and scan documents from their desk. Notes: - Printing Laser Quality. Perfect for Business and Academics - Print Speed up to 19 ppm - Scanning up to 29/22 images per minute Black/Color - Remote Management from anywhere with Brother Mobile Connect App - Nice - Touch Screen 3.5” color. Excellent touch scrolling and input - Intuitive - Duty Cycle 3000 (monthly) - Dual Band Wi-Fi 2.5/5GHz. The Brother checks all the boxes and performs brilliantly. My family loves the printer and its ease of use and capabilities, wife appreciates the style design in my office and son for his academics.

An Outstanding Printer That Meets All Our Needs
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Brother - MFC-L3720CDW Brother - MFC-L3720CDW Wireless Color All-in-One 10 years ago I purchased a Brother Color Laser with the duplexing option and both my wife and I thought it was the best printer - a total solution. So, when I had the opportunity to acquire another Brother Wireless Color Laser I jumped at the chance. The printer itself is a color copier, as well. Because it is wireless, I can print from anywhere in the house and from our various personal computers and from our tablets and phones. The printer prints from four toner cartridges - Black, red, blue and yellow. I have printed pictures and some long documents and I have found that the quality of print, at least, equals my old Brother printer. The printer is quiet and the duplexing is a real plus. This printer is a good bit smaller than my old Brother printer. Over the years, our printing needs have decreased with the changes in technology but a good dependable printer is still important to us. My wife would not settle for anything less than color laser and I am sure this printer will serve us well for years to come.

Oh Brother, Nice job!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So, let me tell you about the Brother All-in-One Printer model MFC-L3720CDW. This printer is a total game-changer! It's got all the features you need to handle your printing, scanning, copying, and even faxing needs. Talk about convenience, right? First off, let's talk about its wireless connectivity. With this printer, you can easily connect your phone or tablet to it, allowing you to print directly from your mobile device. No more hassle with cables or transferring files to a computer. Just tap, print, and voila! You can also easily scan documents and photos, and make copies of important papers with just a few clicks of the 3.5” LED touch screen. It's super handy for those times when you need to quickly duplicate something or digitize your documents. The easy-to-use interface allows you to send directly from the printer (or your computer) to your PC, Mobile app, FTP, Network Folder, Sharepoint of your favorite cloud service. Endless options. Set-up both wirelessly and via USB was simple. I actually did the initial setup all from my cell phone. Now, let's dive into the printing capabilities. The MFC-L3720CDW offers high-quality color printing, so your documents and photos will look vibrant and sharp. It also has automatic duplex printing, which means it can print on both sides of the paper automatically. This feature not only saves you time but also helps save paper and reduce waste. Speed of printing –From standby mode It takes me about 40 seconds to print a 2 sided document or 30 seconds to print 3 one-sided sheets. I love that it uses laser technology instead of inkjet. Laser printers are known for their speed and efficiency when it comes to printing large volumes of documents. They can handle high-volume printing without sacrificing quality. So, if you're someone who needs to print a lot of documents regularly, a laser printer like the MFC-L3720CDW would be a perfect fit for you. On the flip side, for those that don’t use their printer a whole bunch no longer have to deal with clogged inkjet heads that produce streaks from drying up due to limited use. Oh, I almost forgot to mention another nice feature of the Brother All-in-One Printer MFC-L3720CDW! It comes with the Paperport program included. This program is a handy document management software that allows you to easily organize, edit, and share your scanned documents. It's like having your own virtual filing cabinet right at your fingertips. I will say it has a very old school look (large icons etc.) but will be a handy tool for some users. The software also allow you to scan to a searchable PDF. And let's not forget about the faxing capability. If you ever need to send or receive faxes, this printer has got you covered. It's equipped with a built-in fax modem, making it a reliable and efficient tool for your faxing needs. Although who uses fax machines anymore? :-) The Brother All-in-One Printer MFC-L3720CDW also offers a toner subscription program. With this program, you can have toner cartridges automatically delivered to your doorstep when you're running low. It's a convenient way to ensure that you never run out of toner and can keep printing without any interruptions. Plus, it saves you time and effort from having to remember to purchase toner separately. It's like having your own personal toner supply on autopilot! Now for the price. At the time of this writing the subscription cost is below. 75 pages /mo is $9.99/mo. 200 pages /mo is $19.99/mo 500 pages /mo is $19.99/mo Probably a good deal for those that print a lot of sheets. For my home/office use, I will see how far these cartridges will go before I subscribe. I read they should last about 1000 pages. You can get 4 months free with the purchase though, so I may give it a try. Pros: Great quality prints No more cleaning inkjet heads Great interface both on-screen and from mobile app So many scan and copy send and save options Cons: None as of this writing So far, I prefer this brand over all others I have tried. The quality and ease of use is a step above. It has replaced my other two printers :-) Overall, the Brother All-in-One Printer MFC-L3720CDW is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a versatile and reliable printer. Its wireless connectivity, high-quality printing, scanning, and copying capabilities make it a true all-in-one powerhouse. So, if you're in the market for a new printer, especially someone with a home office, or small business, I highly recommend giving this one a go! P.S. – For an idea of the quality of print, see picture attached of the toner cartridge view. This photo shows a paper print from the printer (on Matte paper) which I took from my phone and sent straight to the printer. Great job!

Small office ready, wireless or USB only
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Simple out of the box, pull a bunch of tabs from the doors and the toner cartridges and you are up and running. Color LED laser printer quality printing, copy, scan and fax all at your fingertips on the color LED touch screen. The odd thing I find, there is no ethernet port, guess that is the next version up, but you can use wireless 2.4 and 5 GHz or direct to PC with USB, cable not included. Print quality is pretty decent, however copying the same print through the copier portion loses a fair bit of resolution and color. The speed is a little questionable. It might print 19-25 pages per minute, if you start the count after the first page starts as it takes a fair bit of time to spool and warm up. Single page prints you are looking at about 20-30 seconds from the moment you hit print. But, subsequent pages roll out pretty quick from there. The color LED touchscreen gets you through pretty much everything you need. If you want more options, use a web browser and change all sorts of options, like the admin password it reminds you of changing. I do find it odd that the back, home and cancel buttons don’t at least have a white light behind them, making them a little harder to notice in low light. The paper tray will hold up to 250 pages of legal size, with the tray extending, and smaller. There is a page feeder on the front for printing other sizes than what is in the tray, just not wider than 8.5”. It has duplex printing as well as scanning with the automatic document feeder. As with many Brother printers, you can also take advantage of online features, such as using cloud based apps, using the app for remote printing and scanning, or even setting it up to print from email. A new feature, similar to other branded printer manufacturers, they now have a subscription based toner option for those that print often. Like the other branded ones, I think it is a decent deal so long as you were using a lot of ink/toner anyways. They will ship them to you when you are getting low and the price is based on how many pages you average per month. To me, it reminds me of the old cell phone plans with minute usage and rollover minutes, except this is page usage. So for example, the middle plan is 300 pages a month and if that is your average usage in about 3 months you will get shipped new cartridges as the starter cartridges only have about 1000 pages. However, go over that and you start paying $1 more per 25 pages or required to upgrade your subscription. The good thing is, you have 4 months to figure out what your usage is. Overall, this is a decent all-in-one office option. It has all the common functions a small office needs and it is small enough to be on a file cabinet.

Probably the best MFC I've ever used.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TL;DR - The Brother MFC-L3720CDW does it all and does it especially well for an all-in-one. The printer does vibrant color prints and crisp text on documents from any source. The scanner is the best scanner I've ever used with an all-in-one. Fax functionality is there should you need it. You can even scan documents to PDF, Word, and Excel format straight from the control pad. The box is large and the unit is heavy, so you may need help with carrying the MFC inside and placing it on a very sturdy surface. When you open the box, make sure you open the bottom so you can slide the box off the top of the unit to avoid damage to the control panel and the scanner mechanism. You'll have 10 or so pieces of tape to remove from the unit, along with 3 protective sheets (plastic on scanner, paper in the toner area, and paper in the paper tray), 8 toner caps (two per cartridge), and one large silica packet (in the paper tray). Once placed, you'll need to connect the power cord, along with the (included) phone cord and a (not included) USB cable should you need them. Power it up, connect it to your WiFI network (sorry, no ethernet port here), and update the firmware. Now you're ready for the software, should you want it. For users of Windows 10 and Windows 11, drivers automatically download and you're ready to go for printing, scanning, and faxing. For users of macOS (and OS X back to 10.7), the printer can be added as an AirPrint printer and the scanner is automatically detected by software that is compatible network scanners. Also supported are any Apple iOS devices that support AirPrint and any Android or ChromeBook device that support the Google Cloud Print and Mopria standards. Alternatively for Windows 10 or later (including related server versions) and for macOS 11 or later, Brother does provide native drivers and control apps. For Android and iOS devices, Brother also provides the Mobile Connect app for scanning, printing files, and managing the printer toner from your phone. Installing the native drivers or the Mobile Connect app also makes it easier to register your MFC with Brother for warranty, and to subscribe to Refresh, their subscription ink and toner service. 4 months of this service is also included for free on any tier, so take advantage of free toner for a few months. Performance is great for a MFC. These machines usually feel as if corners were cut to make them work, but Brother did a great job with this one. I tested the printer first with some photographic prints and some documents from Word, Excel, and Notepad on Mac, along with a Vizio chart from Windows. All the documents looked great and the photographs looked amazing for a laser printer. Pages come out quickly once the first page comes out, as the paper has to travel through all four toner cartridges, even with a black and white document. I followed that up with both flatbed scans of pictures and documents along with scanning 20 pages with the document feeder. The scanner is a decent performer for being a desktop-class scanner, while the document feeder is a little loud but quick for this class of machine. Color, greyscale, and black and white scans left nothing to be desired with their quality - exceptional for this class of machine. I did make the fax modem dial, and that worked. Unfortunately, I have no one to fax so I couldn't test that functionality. One other thing this MFC does that not many others do, is function with empty or missing toner cartridges. I was able to usethe scanner and the fax modem without a yeller cartridge in the printer. If I have any complaints, it's the lack of ethernet port and included USB cable in the box. Considering this is the kind of machine that ends up in office shared spaces, ethernet would have been nice for keeping things off the Wi-Fi. The lack of an included USB cable baffles me, as some consumers won't have one and wouldn't have the option to use USB out the box. One other thing I will also touch on is Brother's Refresh program. There are three pricing tiers - 75 pages for $9.99 a month, $19.99 for 200 pages a month, and $34.99 for 500 pages a month. Extra pages come in a quantity of 30 for an additional $1.99 after you hit your page limit. and it also includes an extra 1000 prints with signup of the 500-page tier (which is what I did). Compared to buying toner, it can be less expensive if you're constantly printing color documents. Use the 4 month trial period to see if it's less expensive for you. All in all, the Brother MFC-3720CDW is a very solid machine. Large and heavy, but great performance from all of its part. I highly recommend this.

great for home office, or multiple household users
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This review is for the Brother MFC-L3720CDW Wireless Color All-in-One Digital Printer. There is an enclosed quick start guide, which made the setup very easy and straight forward. The back of printer has ports for local USB cable printing, and a fax line. Dual band wi-fi for multiple users and other devices. Opening the top lid exposes the toner cartridges. The packing tabs on the cartridges are removed and the cartridges get placed back into their slots. Then set the paper tray for letter or legal size, and add up to 250 sheets of paper. The software setup was a breeze. Going to Brother website, enter the model number and download the appropriate software. After installing he software, the computer quickly found the printer on the wi-fi network. At this point, the printer is basically ready to go. The 3.5 inch color touch screen is quite bright and easy to read. The screen has numerous menus. It displays toner level, fax, copy, scan, tools, etc. Also can connect directly to “cloud” apps such as Google Drive for remote printing and scanning, and can create custom shortcuts. So on to some printing. The printer has a slight warm up time, but once print job is started, it is very fast – up to 19 pages per minute - and offers an excellent print quality. Prints easily on both sides of the paper. There is a top auto document feeder with 50 sheet capacity for copying / faxing multiple documents. The mobile app has multiple functions, and can print wireless on wi-fi, or even remotely using a cloud print. Overall, this is an excellent printer for small office, home office, or even a household with multiple users. Highly recommended.

Workhorse of a machine
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was in need of a new printer after my inkjet printer didn't survive a move across the country, and I was getting ready to start school, I needed something that could PRINT and SCAN. And since I work from home, I needed something that work would approve to print, and Brother is on that list. This unit is -heavy- they recommend a two person lift. But in the real world, it turned into a one person lift. Set up was fairly easy, and the instructions are clear for set up. It comes with a power cord, and four toner cartridges and a few other accessories Once the packaging is removed and everything is installed, I was able to connect it to my wifi, and start printing. If you don't have a computer, don't worry; Brother Mobile Connect app has you covered, I have Apple devices, so Air Print capability is great as well. Paper wise, it has 250-sheet capacity paper tray so I won't have to refill my paper tray as often. The print speed is 11 to 20 pages per minute – depending on settings, but overall it's fast. If your eco conscious, there is an eco mode that reduces power as needed and you can schedule the start up and shut down times if need be. Overall I am very happy with the printer, and glad I have a workhorse on board in my home office.

Worth the money!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, the quality of this all in one printer is excellent. While the toner is quite expensive, it's definitely worth the money, especially if you intend to use this machine frequently (High Efficiency). For the price, I think it's the top competitor in the market for similar products. I love the bluetooth and wireless features and their new app.

Amazing printer. High entry cost but worth it.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this printer. We bought a different $40 inkjet and realized how much ink it wastes and what a scam those ink cartridges are. We returned it and decided to just pull the trigger on this one for 10x the price, but we don't regret it one bit. Prints come out extremely crisp and high quality. Hope to have this printer for the next 10 years.

Brother - MFCL3720CDW
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Although I've only had this product a month, I'm very happy with the purchase. The images are excellent, I like that it duplex's, and the wireless connection to my devices is so nice. Most of all, I appreciate the reasonable cost of the replacement cartridges available.

Great value and good support.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this to replace an aging HP laserjet 400 series color printer. This has the advantage of costing less while being AIO. In my home office, it's much quieter than the HP. Initially, this was a protest purchase given HP's subscription imposition, but I'm glad I've got it now.

Do NOT RUN OUT OF INK!!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a printer that would print legal sized paper without having to get up and adjust every time. This does not provide that convenience. However, it is not hard to do once you figure it out. Secondly, and the most annoying and crippling feature is that when they decide you are out of ink-you are out. The printer doesn't print in a lighter shade for a period of time, it just stops and locks down. If you don't have a spare on hand, as I did not, you cannot print another thing until you get it. The ink that came with the printer did not last very long. I am hoping that it was a sample amount or something and this is not the case with all the ink. If that is so, I'm going to regret this purchase.

Posted .The original Brother toner cartridges that came with the Brother MFCL3720CDW are starter Black Toner Cartridge yields approximately 1,000 pages. Starter Cyan, Magenta, Yellow Toner Cartridges yields approximately 1,000 pages.
If your machine's cyan, magenta, or yellow toners run out, you can choose Mono in the printer driver to allow you to keep printing. You'll be able to keep printing until the black toner runs out. When the black toner runs out, you won't be able to print until you replace it. We can help with that. I have included a link to the FAQ answer that should assist you.
