I purchased this fridge in Feb 26, 2020 but I won’t get it until March 25. But I returned and exchanged for another one due to cosmetic damages. I ordered the Cafe fridge with model CYE22TP2MS1 with the feature of red/ green/purple lightings in the TEMP SELECT ZONE compartment. However the one I got was with model CYE22TP2MDS1 with an extra letter “D” at the end. This specific model does NOT come with the multi lighting. I was amazed when I noticed that. Then I called Cafe’s direct customer service line and they told me that they discontinued to manufacture the fridge with multi lightings since March 2019 and they replaced the model with an extra letter “D” for technical control support. They said both models are having exact same features except for the lightings. I felt I was being cheated / misled by BESTBUY because they are misleading customers at the store when you make the purchase . If you buy this fridge after March 2019, you will get the one WITHOUT the lightings. BESTBUY should make their customers aware of this situation at the time of the purchase. Anyway, I really love this fridge because it is distinctive beyond all others. I really like the sleek design of the copper accent sleeve and the “BIG AND CHUNKY” handles which makes it stand out and ELEGANT. Also the water measuring dispenser and hot water is a plus. 22.2 cubic ft is good enough for my kitchen. VERY IMPRESSIVE. I would give it a 5 stars but 4 instead because of missing the multi lights. I am in the process of kitchen remodel and that is why I upgraded my appliances.

We just bought a new home and had to choose all new appliances. After reading lot's of reviews, we chose the Cafe line of appliances and this 22.2 Cu Ft. French Door Refrigerator is simply FANTASTIC. From the fantastic looks to how everything operates is far better than any Fridge we've owned. On the looks side, it's beautiful. Everything reeks of quality. I love how the ice-maker doesn't take up as much space as many other ice-makers do. You can get more food inside thanks to it's intelligent design. You see how much water you're dispensing to the exact ounce and it's terrific you can get hot water on demand too. If I were change anything, I'd wish Cafe used a finish that was more resistant to finger prints and the compartment one would use for eggs, doesn't accommodate a typical store egg carton. But I found a great solution in a plastic egg carton which works perfectly. All in all, we couldn't be happier with this terrific refrigerator from Cafe!

Beautiful, sleek GE Cafe appliance compliments the other GE Profile appliances delivered in my home. Hot water feature is great and the freezer drawer has large capacity.

I Love the look of this Cafe refrigerator. The hot/cold water feature is an option I use more than I thought I would. The precise water option is great for cooking and keeping a true account of how much water you drink in a day! I use the crushed ice option most of the time. Love it!! It is running smoothly and quietly which is something my last refrigerator did not do. Finally, as I stated before it is a beautiful statement peice in my new kitchen!

Really like it . Refrigerator is quiet except for ice maker but not that bad. Love counter depth makes more room by my doorway and still have room for food might not be for big family. Delivery was ok I had to figure out how to adjust the doors which one was higher by 1/4 of an inch. I would think they would adjust the doors when delivered. Hot water and the measurements of water will come in handy. Overall very happy with it.

We decided on the Cafe line which we thought were top of the line GE appliances but unfortunately what we got was horrible attention to quality. We had them exchange our first and our second fridge as the first two were just too horribly built. We are on our third and we have had to have service come out to repair it once and are going to schedule another for the panel that got damaged when the repair guy came out. The first thing we found when we unboxed the fridge was there was tape all over that was impossible to get off without disassembling it. I wasn't going to take it apart so we had to cut the tape and just leave the ends stuck behind panels. I spent at least an hour taking things apart and taking off protective plastic. This seemed pointless because areas were still scuffed and dirty in areas. The freezer door on the first fridge would not pull all the way out without yanking so hard, the fridge would move. Same thing when you tried to close it. The drawer slide on the left side would bind near the end of the travel in either direction. There were wires pinched between the top panel and the front of the fridge. How does someone in QC miss that? There were scuffs all over the freezer drawer inserts. When I pulled them out to take the protective plastic off, there was a screw, metal chips, dirt and finger prints all over the bottom of the freezer. Our second fridge came in with a large gouge on the inside that looked like something was wedged under the left door when they opened or closed it. One of the interior lights was only half chrome plated.. the other half was still black plastic. It had the same issues as the first fridge with the freezer drawer inserts dirt, metal chips and dirty finger prints. The third fridge was the best. It was still dirty in the freezer section but overall, not as bad as the first two. The only real complaint I had was that there was tape stuck on the cold water dispenser outlet behind the clear plastic cover. It could not be removed without disassembly. We had a repair guy come out and he got the tape removed, but not without leaving pry marks and a large nick in the display bezel. I will be scheduling another visit to get that replaced. Hopefully this will be without further damage. The hot water dispenser is nice, but limited to only 10 oz. The cold water dispenser is not all that cold. I wish the ice cubes were smaller like my last LG fridge. Inside, the shelves, drawers and door bin spacing / function left a bit to be desired. Where the heck are you supposed to store eggs? A normal egg carton will not fit in the traditional spot in the door. The doors overhang the sides by a bunch so we had to keep it further away from the wall than we wanted to avoid the door hitting the counter top on one side and the wall on the other. This is a "counter depth" fridge, so this should have been taken into account when they designed it. It is unfortunate that I can only attach six pictures because I have WAY more.... but you'll get the point. That fancy copper Cafe badge on the oven handle is essentially lipstick on a pig. If you want to pay a lot for fancy looking poorest of the poor quality appliances, then the Cafe line is for you!

When searching for appliances for our brand new home, we paid special attention to the details. Unlike the common “state of the art” refrigerators with big screens and bizarre colors, we just wanted something classic and stylish. The GE Café design outpaced our expectations. The stainless steel finish, straight lines, and vertical rods add character to the overall design. Being our first counter-depth refrigerator, it takes some time to get used to the reduction in volume. However, we have seen that this size is perfect for our family of four. Special mention to the best buy team who took the shipping and installation process professionally and flawlessly. Highly satisfied.

This refrigerator never made it to refrigeration temperature, the freezer door doesn’t close, it freezes in the freezer and then I find it defrostedand water is all of and comes out the ice maker cause it defrosts, and today after two weeks of leaving plugged in it sounded like the motor was going out and was making a lot of noise. I called Geek squad, since I paid 599.99 for protection and they didn’t know what to do so I called GEdirectly

Too many things wrong with this fridge. Maybe we got a lemon. There is foam seeping out of 3 locations, doors don’t stay open and freezer doesn’t stay shut. Avoid!

Great fridge! Quiet, great features good storage space for a counter depth fridge and it has a hot and cold water option. The lighting in the fridge makes it look really sophisticated. The handles are changeable and add a great touch as well. There were issues initially with the delivery company on an open box item however Harry at the Long Island city Best Buy did a phenomenal job of handling it and staying on top of everything! The manager worked to get this order delivered along with Harry - the customer service was amazing at the store and even over the phone since I added the Best Buy total tech membership which covers everything I purchase from Best Buy and even extends the return policy. Loved the way I was educated on products and services and how patient everyone was with me since I had changed my mind so many times and wanted everything that was out of stock (not Best Buy’s fault since we had a shipping crises) but everything worked out and I love the fridge!

Great looking fridge with tons of capacity inside and incredible lighting. Love the counter depth makes it look built in. It is very quiet. The only thing to be aware of is you need more than 1” on each side for clearance for air circulation as the left hand door will actually hit the wall.

Despite being counter depth this fridge is well laid out so there is plenty of storage space. I was unsure about the door bin for gallon milk jugs, but happily it's working out well. There are 3 narrow bins on one door that work well for cheeses and small bottles of sauces. We're able to use the long, flexible-temp drawer for both soft drinks and deli items. My only complaint is that I have to open both fridge doors to access the flex drawer. The interior is very well lit. The dairy bin is ample sized. The freezer is also well laid out and has great capacity. I miss the showcase door-in-door that is missing from this model. The ice and water dispenser works well, but for crushed ice you want to keep the glass very close to the top of the dispenser. The precise fill is a nice feature for cooking. The hot water dispenser has 3 temp settings which is a nice touch. Being able to connect the fridge to the app and my Google Home is an extra convenience.

Ok, awesome fridge. LED lighting is so good. It front lights so you can see everything. Lets tLk about the hot water. If you telking it to make hot water for the first time it takes about 4-5 min. And it give you 10oz of hot water. You choose the temperature! Can you do that we a stove or microwave, no! Here you can! We use this feature at least 3-4 times a day if not more. If mom is here we use it at least 8-9 times a day. It is safe and easy. A must have! Were buyjng our second one. Last one was 10 yrs old and moving it to the renat and getting a new one. Love it!

What can I say? This is one of the most beautiful fridges I’ve ever seen! Not to mention that the counter depth fit flush with our kitchen! I’ve always placed my faith in GE appliances and this one doesn’t disappoint at all. Also, it has a hot water dispenser so that gives us more space that would’ve been taken up by a kettle. Awesome product in addition to expert installation by Best Buy. Will definitely recommend this product to anyone in the market.

Love this refrigerator!. Counter depth helps to create a more built in look. The hot water feature is great. Lighting is amazing inside. I have nothing but positive feedback so far.

I like this refrigerator a lot accept for the quality of the inside shelves and storage bins. We have always been a GE Profile customer and went to go buy one. The GE Profile refrigerator on display at Best Buy was in such rough shape we couldn't imagine it in our kitchen. That directed us to the Cafe which is still in the same GE family... sort of. I think Haier now owns GE. What we like: style, outside quality build including solid handles, added extras like the photos (never would have looked for that feature- but really like looking at all the family pictures that are downloaded) and so far everything works. Don't think I'll use the hot water feature much. Microwave is much quicker. What we don't like: The inside shelves and bins in both the refrigerator and freezer seem really cheap, flimsy and in some cases unfinished for a $3,400 appliance. I think this is a result of Haier influence on GE appliances. I gave it a four because of these inside flaws. It a good refrigerator for what is out there in the market today (and available). It could really be a great appliance if Cafe (GE, Haier) just put a little more time and effort at the factory with the quality build of the inside plastics.
