This is a beautiful looking refrigerator but looks can be deceiving. We wanted to get new appliances for our new kitchen remodel which we went with a white, gray and gold theme. We found this beautiful look set called Cafè by GE. It’s looks nicer in person then in these pictures. Let me get to the point: Pros: Beautiful looking fridge Texture is Pearl white The inside LED back splash...Wow Plenty of space Easy to use Cons: -The right dirt does not stay open. -Handles are not designed to attach the doors properly, always have to tighten. -Ice maker is from a cheap $500 fridge (Why!) -The front water and ice display looks cheap Overall you’re getting a $1500 GE refrigerator with $3000 of cosmetics options. Not unless you are buying a set or you want it only for the looks, you can get better option for that price with better technology.

Wonderful amount of storage space. Good lighting and love the heavy gauge handles. I would prefer a little larger ice bin.

I spent a lot of time reviewing refrigerators before making a choice. I spent a lot of time at the store looking at features and options. I shopped other stores to be sure we were getting the best price, warranty, etc. I ruled out a few brands based on consumer reports and ruled out others despite consumer reports - some brands rated high but the fact remains, parts are hard to get and some repair companies just don’t have the staff to service all brands. I avoided those brands despite being rated highly. Cafe is new to our home but not GE - we have many GE appliances. Cafe is a nice step up from our Profile and this refrigerator has turned out to be amazing! It has more space (thank goodness!). Better ways to organize all we put into a fridge (thank goodness!). And even though the inside is dark, the lighting and way I can see things in the fridge works! I personally love the look. Outside and inside. So far, the ice output is great. Smaller ice cubes is interesting but so far, not an issue. I love the center drawer, although haven’t used it for more than a “deli drawer” it’s nice to have options for how it can be used. I really love how the bottom freezer has drawers. It’s made this style freezer so much more organized than our previous GE Profile, which was great. So far, it’s easy to keep clean and the front fingerprint free. I love the side is black and that I can still put magnets there. The copper details are subtle but so cool. My husband was concerned with my choice since this is so different from previous fridges - he says “I’m strangely happy.” Can’t ask for more than that from the man who will pay the bills for this purchase. Best Buy was so great to work with. Delivery was seamless even after a slight delay due to an injury the service team experienced on another call (we had to wait a few days but they stayed on top of our schedule and prioritized). The care the delivery team provided assured us our home and fixtures were in good hands. The removal of our other fridge made the change so easy. The financing was also handled professionally and I love the 0%!

It is a pretty refrigerator but the wrapped the blue protective wrap so it is hard to remove. They put manufacturing stickers that i have to get goo gone to remove. The 2nd area gets an ice layer.

We purchased this model of Cafe refrigerator because we prefer the external ice maker but the store we purchased from didn’t have this particular model on display. The model we saw had the internal water pitcher and we didn’t think it was that much different. First of all...this refrigerator is absolutely beautiful! The back light is amazing and the gray walls and rose gold accents are chef's kiss! BUT…for the price of this refrigerator I expected a lot more in the quality of its parts. My first beef is with the shelves on the door of the refrigerator. Two of them are so ridiculously narrow you really can’t fit a normal sized condiment bottle or jar in there so they’re useless! I also wish the top shelf on the right hand door of the refrigerator was actually just a shelf. It says dairy and has a flip top closure but the only thing that can really fit in there are sticks of butter and it’s just too big a space for that. They should’ve added some molds to store eggs or just made it like the rest. The icemaker is just a hot mess express! The only words I can think of are antiquated, cheap and just ugly. It just doesn’t go here! There’s a an old fashioned pulley type handle (that’s hard to open) to open the compartment and the ice container inside is a plain white square container. It’s just big, bulky and cumbersome not to mention you have to pull the container all the way out to see how much ice is in there because you can’t see through the container and there’s no indicator. The mechanism behind the ice bucket looks like they tried to build a time machine with various extra parts from old scrapped GE Profile refrigerators. (We had one so trust me I know!) It also has that old style start/stop lever that raises up as ice is produced vs. an on/off switch. This just doesn’t fit with a refrigerator at this price point. The freezer area is nice and large, but the flat sliding drawer under the top bin gets stuck when you pull the top shelf out and you’ve gotta push them back-and-forth a few times to separate them. The dividers in the bottom of each drawer that separate the space inside the drawer are loose and flimsily and don’t move uniformly. The freezer door itself also seems just extremely heavy. On top of all this we had to return it anyway because the installation team damaged it when delivering it so we ended up going with a KitchenAid model. Kitchen Aid appliances seem to be more my speed as far as modern design throughout the entire appliance.

What a beautiful addition to our kitchen. We bought an open box Cafe four door refrigerator through Best Buy Outlet and it was a very good deal. Normally I don't buy this type of product, especially when keeping something like this for many years, it just made very good financial sense, again as it was a great deal. It had few dents, scuffs & scratches, missing handles, missing hardware, missing manuals and some wear & tear. Missing some of the handles & a great price, gave me the financial opportunity to upgrade the handles to brushed bronze, very nice addition. Then I bought the needed hardware from GE online, items came in a couple of days, very good service. Also, at this time, there were none of this model refrigerators available for retail, in any of the stores. They were quoting two plus months to have back in stock, yikes! Our 21 year old GE's Refrigerators compressor was on its last legs, no way it would have lasted another week, it had just recently gotten very noisy, as the compressor was running almost all the time. This couldn't have worked out better for us. Thanks again to Best Buy for being there when we needed them again. Very nice people to do business with.

It’s a beautiful fridge. Keeps things organized. The back light is excellent very efficient storage capabilities. We took a star out because the ice maker is way too slow and doesn’t make much ice. The autofill option is awesome.

The team was very helpful in the ordering process and my fridge arrived quickly. So far my fridge is great. The set up crew was nice and helpful but there english was hard to understand.

I love the set up of this refrigerator. The adjustable shelves, the flex drawer, the triple drawers in the freezer. The backlighting in the refrigerator is exceptionally bright yet beautiful. It is esthetically pleasant to look at inside and out. The only complaints I have is the stainless steel shows every finger print and smudge and the ice dispenser dispenses I’ve very slowly but neither of these are reason enough to give less than five stars.

This is a stunning refrigerator. I received it on April 3rd and it is making ice but does not dispense. I have a scheduled service call later in the month. It is beautiful and the entire set makes my kitchen look brand new. Carolyn from Kentucky

This refrigerator is absolutely amazing the only issue I had was a small scratch. I returned a couple of time and every time there was an scratch on a different place so at the end I decided to keep it. Because I love the refrigerator.

First off, hats off to Best Buy for their excellent service! Fast delivery and installation. This Café Refrigerator has been on our wish list since before we bought our home. The styling, the features, and the space are what prompted the 5 stars. We are remodeling our kitchen and with the darker theme this is a whole mood! Now all that’s left is to order the brushed bronze handle kit!

So far this fridge is great, we purchased this GE Cafe to replace our Samsung because of the temperature being inconsistent , and so far this fridge keeps things cold and fresh. Our milk and cheese are not going bad any more like they were with our old fridge. Fridge was delivered with a little uneven doors, but once I mentioned this to the delivery people they worked on getting this corrected, and before you know it doors were even. I definitely can recommend this GE Cafe or any GE Fridge. The Sales people at Pacific Sales and Best buy were great.

Due to Covid the delivery team was not able to take off all plastic and wrapping. As they departed I began doing in and found a nice scratch on one of the handles and a piece of the enamel damaged on the inside of the door. For the high price of this fridge I would expect it to be flawless! I have purchased 4 cafe appliances from Best Buy for my new kitchen and 3 have been damaged when they arrive?! Not sure if it’s an issue from Best Buy or from the factory?

Beautiful refrigerator. But we have had multiple issues within the first few weeks of ownership. The technician has come out three times now to fix a strange noise coming from the inside. The front right door has insulation leaked out all over it and over 12 tiny holes where it was leaking. The gasket around the door is really loose. The water dispenser drips randomly. The ice machine shoots ice out almost sideways so you have to hold the cup up against the dispenser at the top. The little green tape is hard to remove, we were told to use a utility knife to remove. The only problem with this is that is where rust starts, which happened on our last refrigerator. For the very steep price tag it seems we sacrificed performance for aesthetic.

Absolutely LOVE this fridge. It’s amazing, spacious, back lit, and beautiful inside and out. If you’re looking for an upgrade this is it. We saw some complaints about the smaller ice holder and small ice cubes but we haven’t noticed any flaws there yet. The app makes it super easy to keep track of temps, ice, and the water filter.

Excellent experience at the Ocoee outlet! Brent was professional, helpful, and knowledgeable! We drove over an hour to this location to see what they had available for same day purchase and it did not disappoint! We’ve already told many of our friends, neighbors, and family! We will return in the future for other appliance needs. For reference we purchased the GE Cafe

The beauty of my kitchen! It is quite spacious and the backlit made everything easy to find. I got so many compliment and the matte white paint does not look cheap at all. The handle matches my delta champagne bronze faucet, everything is perfect.

It’s really nice and very spacious. Everything just perfect. I can’t stop looking at it especially inside that looks like a little pantry. Just love my fridge.
