Setup was extremely easy and straightforward. I am hoping that the ink lasts as advertised. I purchased the Canon matte photo paper and the print quality is very nice. Just make sure to print on the whiter side. Overall I am pleased with the printer and quality for the price. The photo attached was printed on the photo paper. You can also print borderless images which is a nice feature.

The G3270 is a capable printer for anyone looking to leave cartridges behind, but unfortunately does omit some of the features you might expect from an all-in-one device at this price point. The setup process for the printer is very simple. The paper trays are all permanently affixed and simply slide and/or fold out, and there are only a few pieces of tape holding everything in place. There are only two major assembly steps: installing the print heads and loading the ink tanks. Both simply require you to drop the requisite parts into their corresponding slots. Everything is keyed so that there shouldn't be any risk of accidentally mixing up which one goes where, and gravity does all the work getting the ink out of the bottles so there's no mess to worry about if you're less than perfect. WiFi setup is handled via an app, making up for the somewhat basic control panel. All in all, you should be able to get up and running in just a few minutes (though it may take longer to fully prime the pumps responsible for delivering the ink.) As far as printing goes, quality is quite good on both standard and photo paper (though the latter, as expected, makes a significant difference in terms of color quality and overal clarity.) Text is sharp and can be produced relatively quickly. And with tanks this big, you should be able to do plenty of large jobs without exhausting the supply. The scanner is also quite sharp and offers very high quality results. The top mounted paper tray also means it has no issues working with banner paper for larger displays, and its ability to print borderless media appears absolutely flawless. This, however, is when some of the printer's less impressive attributes started to show. To start, it is mechanically quite noisy while operating. I don't know if the ink delivery system is adding to it or if there are just some loud stepper motors driving the print carriage, but it can be a bit distracting while it's going. I also found while testing the copier that the control panel is pretty non-user friendly. It is not adjustable at all and the tiny LCD screen used for feedback and settings is only really easily readable when viewed head on - which isn't likely to occur unless you're fairly short or you've placed the printer up unusually high. Finally, it doesn't have a lot of the features that I've started to just come to expect as standard for something that takes up this much space. There's no built in duplexer for dual-sided printer, no automatic document feeder for the scanner, and only a single paper tray. As such I'd say this is much better suited for occasional home use than an office setting.

Easy & quick setup. I like that you connect through Wifi and no cords to mess around with. The pictures quality is great and quick. A great choice for a home printer.

Not a bad printer. Fairly easy to set up and not the fastest but reliable so far. If you print off an iphone or ipad the pages look faded. Prints off my pc's and macs are sharp and clear.

I love this printer! Now I can finally save on ink cartridges by just buying ink for a fraction of the cost. And the best part is that I could stay with Canon. Sorry Epson. The installation was a breeze. Setup next to my laptop, followed the instructions and the next thing I knew I was printing, Copying to a PDF was easy. It's a great printer.

Easy setup ( use phone app). Seamlessly works with W11, IOS, and android ( Chromebox), with zero setup for all connected devices. Turns itself off, which we like. But have to remember to turn on when sending a print job. No big deal as this is like flipping a light switch.

Paper printing and photos very nice quality. Setup was easy with app that is downloaded to desktop. Scanner works well. Issue with paper printing. Multiple times corner has caught on roller and created crooked print or paper jam. Found on line solution to run utility to clean roller. This has happened 3-4 times and I'm not a heavy user.

The Canon PIXMA MegaTank G3270 is very good basic all-in-one printer for a home or small office. The printer is very easy to use, features both wired and wireless connectivity, and per print cost is quite low with ink, which is astonishingly high capacity. However, it lacks two features that may give you pause if they are ones you need: there is no duplexing print option, so single-sided is it, and there isn't an automatic document feeder, so copies and scans have to be performed manually on the flatbed scanner. Out of the box setup is really easy--you can let the printer itself evidently walk you through setup on the small LCD, but I scanned a QR code and let my phone take me through setup. It took just a couple of minutes to install the print heads, fill the tanks, and connect the printer to WiFi. The printer does not make you do an alignment but I highly recommend it, as my initial test print wasn't that great and the alignment, which prints out a test page for the scanner to read, fixed readily. Paper capacity isn't very high--only 100 sheets of plain paper--so you may find yourself needing to refill it more often than others with higher capacities. Print quality was good, if not laser sharp, in both color and black and white. It's fast enough for most users, I'd suspect, but it's definitely not the fastest printer I've used. What's very nice though is that the ink capacity is just incredible--with tanks full, it's rated for 6,000 black and 7,700 color prints. Another thing I really liked is the app and wireless printing. I didn't need to create yet another account, and I didn't have to be bombarded with offers to subscribe to an ink refill service. It just prints without fuss, and that's what I want out of a printer. Printing from my Android phone from Google Docs also worked flawlessly. Overall, I think this is a good printer for most people, with the caveat that those who need an ADF or duplexing will need to look elsewhere. I really wish it had those particular features, as the rest of the printer is really easy to use and produces very good results, and the print capacity in ink is insanely good. That said, this is replacing my printer that did have ADF and duplexing, but was so completely frustrating to use that the no nonsense, easy to use Canon is a welcome change.

So far I am very happy with the Canon G3270 printer. It has everything you need for a good home or small office printer. The scanning and copying work great. But the printing is the real show stopper. I've used it for documents and some photo printing as well. All have turned out fantastic. Although you wouldn't generally think of an office style printer such as this for photo printing, I've found the results using Canon glossy photo paper to be impressive. The two things that stand out to me the most are how easy it was to set up, and the generous amount of ink. Using the Canon online guide for setting it up had me printing in no time. The Canon print utility is very easy to use. The software is much easier to use than what I've experienced with other brands. Wireless printing with both my laptop and my phone have worked perfectly. As for the ink, I love the new way of dealing with ink! Instead of the small cartridges that never seem to last very long, you fill each color with a bottle of ink. And these are sizeable bottles that I have no doubt will last a very long time. Far longer than any previous ink cartridges I've used. And filling the ink is so simple. Just tip the bottle and let it flow. Each color has a keyed tip so it's impossible to put the wrong color in each ink holder. Brilliant! Can't think of a single bad thing about the G3270.

The printer was easy to set up . Connection of phones and computer were very easy . The print quality was exceptional. The only thing I wish was different is how the paper is loaded to be printed. I’ve only had it a short time . It looks to be a excellent printer .
