The printer works ok, does not print pictures clearly, so just know that. Also, the "free 100 pages" is ONLY if you use them in the first month. After that, you lose them. I find their printing plan to not be fantastic, you get charged a lot if you go over the amount of pages you think you'll use (which I think it's hard to guesstimate how many pages you're going to print in a month, especially in school). HP was so much easier, they send you ink when you're low. Period. I miss that so much. I do like that the printer has a screen so you can actually see what's going on, buttons so you can copy or whatever you need to do. It prints very quietly, also a plus. If they had a better ink replacement plan, I would probably be happier with this printer. Yes, there is an auto-replenish plan that only sends you ink when you're low, but this printer doesn't qualify for that plan apparently, that's what their tech support told me. Do some homework and figure out what works best for you.

The printer has to be turned on manually before it will accept the print job, otherwise the print is great!

It turns off by itself, it always gives an error on the paper. But anyway, it works well

I’m stuck in a loop with this one. I can’t finish the setup. It’s not easy. I’ve even called out for help. So far nobody can help.

This is a nice little printer. it’s compact, not that heavy and it’s good for the price. Easy to set up and use. Some things to note: you do not have individual color tanks, so if you run low on blue, you have to toss yellow and red when you replace blue. when you set it up your paper tray extends about 2 1/2 inches out in front of your printer there is no way to get it to be flush with the printer. that does change the size of the profile. there is a cbl printer port, however it’s important to note that the port is in a location and in such a small place that no printer plug will actually fit because of the size of the cbl plug’s head. The printer port itself is located in a tiny little funneled out hole in the printer housing that no plug will actually fit. All in all it’s a fine little printer but if you want to print securely and not use Wi-Fi you need to select another printer. I took a photo of the printer port location to upload for my review but it’s black and the port hole is so small it actually doesn’t show up on a photo and the printer box itself does not have that image.

If your printing/scanning needs are relatively light, this is a decent purchase. It prints documents adequately. I haven't tried printing photos yet, but color documents print well. You have to be close by when printing or have the printer on a desk because the documents drop from the unit and not into a receiving tray of any sort. So if your printer is placed on the edge of a desk the printed copy drops onto the floor. The scanner works just fine. We're in our 60s and scanning documents to be emailed accounts for the greater usage of this printer for us. Haven't had a problem with that yet. Connecting the printer to the wifi is a bit of hassle owing to the toggling between caps, lower case, numbers and symbols. If your electricity goes off due to weather or other conditions, it will disconnect the printer from the wifi and you will have to re-connect. This was not necessary with my previous printer. When electricity came back on, the printer found and reconnected without having to re-enter wifi password. User interface buttons are a bit wonky and the outer casing is on the cheap side. On the up side, ink for this unit is less expensive than the other models.

It’s too loud and slow. I give it 3 stars and would give it 4, but my experience purchasing it was not great. The printer prints amazingly well, but it does print slowly but for this price point you cant expect more. I love the color and the sleek look. If you have a lot to print or scan, then this one might not be for you but if you only print important documents every now and then, I recommend it. The reason I took a star off was because BB promised to price match with Amazon ($10 off, no big deal) but got an error message and refused to attempt anything else. I had to call BB directly to get those $10 reimbursed to my account days later.

Nice low cost wireless all-in-one printer. Good for modest copying / printing needs at home. They get you on the ink.

The printer, print well but the printer itself is built very poor and will easily fall apart within the first week. It has a paper feeding tray at the top and the bottom, but the bottom try is hard to put back in correctly and if you don’t align it correctly it gives you and error and you want be able to use. It token me Over and hour trying to put thus paper in the tray and I got someone else to try and they couldn’t do it either. Save your money and read the reviews and buy another printer because bestbuy is not good on taking products back when they don’t work. They be wanting you to send to the manufacturer and that’s a hassle for a handicapped person like me.

Like the title says, when it works, its great. The printer intermittently works whenver I try printing documents using canon’s app or via airprint. I find myself constantly having to unplug and plug the printer back in just so that it can function properly. Otherwise, it just stays frozen saying preparing to print. Considering the price I paid for this printer, its fine and gets the job done but you get what you pay for.

Fair quality for the low price. Print quality is good and it can handle small print jobs just fine, but if you have a high volume of items to print at once...50 pages at once for example...it lags. It'll say "printer unavailable" after about 15 pages and you have to begin again. At least that was our experience printing via wifi. Perhaps being connected via a USB port would have proven to be more efficient.

It took a while to set up, and the printer doesn't recognize when you put different-sized paper. I tried to change the settings but had no option to do so. It was working fine with my Macbook until it stopped working after a month, and I cannot reconnect or use the printer at all using my MacBook. Super annoying, and I can only use the app. The power button on the printer also doesn't work and I have to press it numerous times in different ways for it to actually turn off.

Good printer for the price. It is very finicky and it has froze when trying to turn it off or connect it. I have had to unplug it multiple times but when it prints, it does a good job.

In general the printer fits the price point for general household printing. The paper loading is a bit confusing with top loading and cassette loading. The quality of prints are okay/good, maybe there are different settings for quality but unfortunately I don’t have the time or effort to invest…as a home printer I’m more print and ready to go. Lastly the printer powers off after 1-2 hours and will not power or connect remotely when off. I need to get up and turn of the printer, a huge inconvenience.

This printer was easy to set up. It prints well for my purposes and has some convenient features. I like the duplex printing. I wish it has auto feed for the scanner. I absolutely hate proprietary ink though. At least this printer does not force a link to the company website like some others.

When it prints text and images look great. Speed is ok for the price. We print wirelessly and for some reason this printer drops from the network, We usually have tp shut it off and turn it back on and than it shows on our network again. A bit annoying, But for the sale price we are living with it. Too bad as for actual printing its good. Had another HP printer that did the same thing. I don't have any issues with any of the other 50+ devices connected to my Orbi 960 network. I would recommend for anyone hard wiring this printer.

Works fine, a bit on the slow side, the print quality is nice for cardstock, plain, and photo paper. The main issue is the ink. I ran out of the ink this came with after printing 10 pages of a meal planner template, and another 20 pages of a fitness tracking template. so I got 30 pages with amount 30% of the page needing print. I bought the XL, I printed 10 pages of a worksheet for my team; with one small yellow box on it, that took a little under 25% of my XL "high yield" ink. i think this might be more for someone who is printing every once in a while, not someone who is printing often. This is not office friendly. It's good for Mom or Dad who needs it to print off an application or a recipe. But to print multiple pages many times a week/month, it will run you up on ink costs. I'm a little disappointed although the print quality is very nice. I wish I got more out of my ink, especially since I'm spending $60 on ink for both black and color. Ink shoudn't cost more than $20 and it should yield more than 200 pages, not 30 at standard quality.

This is a very good printer. The faults I have are not print quality, or set up. Set up was pretty easy. The paper capacity is very small compared to the last printer and the color ink cartridges are in one which means wasted ink with replacement. I prefer individual however the printer with this wasn’t in stock. I would probably not purchase this again because of these 2 things but I like Canon printers so for the price I can’t really complain.

The paper feeds from the bottom of the printer. I did not like that. Sometimes I like to use a half sheet of paper to print so I don't waste any paper. You can't do that. I also did not like the extra piece sticking out at the bottom since the paper is there. I ended up taking it back.

I’ve had this printer 10months and have had no problems with it Pros- Decent quality for the price, easy setup, great for minimal printing. Cons- prints very slow, powers off after 10min not used, not for daily use or business.
