With no condensor, compressor, or evaporator, I didn't see how this thing could produce cold. Somehow it does though, very well actually. Its also very conveniently sized, allowing you to bring it anywhere, even in the car with the included car outlet power cord. That's right, a refrigerator in your car. I can't believe you haven't bought this yet.

I did review the product details, wife picked it up but when she unboxed it ,, was very excited and quickly plugged it in,,, left it plugged in over night,,, but doesn't seem to get cold enough,,, plus we noticed this item must of been a returned item from someone else or it wasn't correctly assembled,,, it seems to be defective so she umpluggedc it,,, feeling disappointed, unhappy and unsatisfied with this item,,, she re-boxed it ,, and just sadly put it to the side ,,,

This item is ok, just for the looks, it really doesn't keep your cans cold. The price was ok, but should have only been valued at $30 and not $49.00.

Decent value, fits on the office desk nicely and is a great conversation starter with people passing by.

Does the job, keeps soda cans cool but is quite loud. It would annoy me tremendously if it was to be in my room. Glad that it is one of the kids' room.

I used this because I had medication that needed to be cool. It doesn’t get “refrigerator cold,” but it stays cool. Great for 3-4 cans of your beverage of choice or something in need of “cooler than room temp.” Kept it for two years and then my circumstances changed, so I gifted it to an eye-balling friend.

I can't get Best Buy or Koolatron to address the misleading advertisement of automobile usage. I expected there to be a cord enclosed to plug into my lighter socket but I can't get a reply as to where it is!!! Even the ad above states "OPERATES ON 12V DC power" yet no plug is included except for household use. VERY MISLEADING......

Got this for grandson (age 10). He uses it in his room for his personal stash of soft drinks.

I was looking for a tiny refrigerator /cooler to keep on a shelf in my bedroom for coffee cream or two beers. The size was adequate . This product is noisy due to the fan that runs constantly. My search continues.

Bought this so it could be used during long distance travel.

I've read some of the other reviews and disagree with some of the criticisms. I found the unit to be quiet and far from excessively loid. I didn't start to run loud until a day or so before it stopped working altogether, approximately two years after purchase.

Perfecr for short trip and for desk at work, I would recommend this priduct to anyone.

I was concerned in buying this device because reviews of these types of devices are very mixed. Most say the beverages aren't cold enough or that they are too loud. I have been pretty happy with mine. It gets the beverages as cold as the regular refrigerator. There is some fan noise, but I put it under my desk at work so it isn't too bad. It isn't really any louder than a desktop computer fan. So far so good at least.

This is a nice size for needing to keep a small number of items chilled. A typical mini-fridge would have been too much.

Not as cold as a mini frig but does good job as a drink chiller. Ours is by the bed!

I put this little cooler on my desk at work. A little noisy but works good.

Keeps the few things I needed at the perfect temperature.

KEEP DRINKS COLD UNDER DESK AT WORK. DOES NOT TAKE UP MUCH SPACE.

If you only want to drink something cold..and not a big can.this this is for you. Water bottles are too big but small ones are just right
