Most mother boards only have one fan port. Having the commander made it so easy for plug and play with fans and rgb. Also you can run other brand fans on it however can’t control some of the fans speed. It will show the rpm of the fans so weird. All in all if you wanna run six fans and run their rgb effortlessly with having some temp sensors to check your rig this is the one to do it all

Excellent product with a good rating. It takes up precious room in your case. It cost more than it should. It's probably already obsolete with the latest and greatest RGB out to date. Not very user friendly... But at the time I bought this, Corsair was the best RGB solution.

Assuming you have bought into the rest of the Corsair PC parts ecosystem everything works perfectly together. However you need to still use a Corsair RGB hub with the commander Pro to get the full RGB functionality. I used a custom fan curve profile set to kick all case fans up when GPU hits 60 and up. Works flawlessly!

If you need more than 3 case fans, this is a good option for that. It can control up to 6 fans, in addition to the 3 or 4 fans that the motherboard can control. It also can be an internal USB hub for plugging in the Node Core light control and IAO cooler into it. If you are using all Corsair lighting components this is the best solution, and it adds the ability to control the case LED lighting.

Bought this to connect my corsair LL fans + aio since I have limited USB 2.0 headers. Works great, and helps control all the RGB in my system. Makes cable management a lot easier as well since you're able to keep it all plugged into one hub instead of a mess of hubs that corsair gives you if you have a bit of RGB fans.

The commander pro is an amazing product! I is an essential to anyone who wants to control their fan speed and colors with iCue. I did previously use Corsair fans without the commander pro, and honestly you’re only getting half of usage out of them because settings are limited without the commander pro. It’s still possible to use fans without it but honestly being able to control everything from the iCue app is worth it, so if you can’t get it right away save up. I would say this product is essential to anyone using Corsair fans and iCue. The only issue is their instructions are terrible. I found graphical instructions (layouts) on the official corsair forums for several different configuration types, and it made everything quite easy. Bought this since I had 6 LL Series 120mm fans that needed to be installed into a PC and not enough fan connectors on the motherboard. Also wanted control of the RGB lighting for all the fans. Connecting a Lighting Node Pro and the six fans to the Commander Pro was literal plug-n-play. Instructions provided were helpful. Once everything was installed everything worked fine but did encounter an issue with the RGB lights turning on and off once ICUE was installed and custom lighting profiles were made. Also the fans would briefly reset to the default RGB lighting and then return to the custom lighting effects. Had to resolve the issue by purchasing an internal USB 2.0 hub and only connecting the Commander Pro to it. Once connected to the USB hub I haven't encountered the lights turning on and off and the RGB lighting profiles do not reset. Not sure why the internal USB hub fixed it but definitely recommend one should you choose to purchase the Commander Pro to connect multiple fans to it.

It does what its supposed to, but feels like its too expensive. And messing with corsair RGB in general can be a hassle, especially if you have different fan types. Good luck with that. Otherwise it’s relatively easy to use and control in ICue. I mainly use it to turn a couple 3 pin fans into pwm fans.

I have a Lian Lee XL and needed 2 of these for all 10 fans plus the pump. The price is a little high but there is really no competition when i comes to the software and having everything in my pc from lighting to the fan control all in one spot is priceless.

I have used the corsair commander pro hardware controller not for one computer but up to 4 different computers that I run I work in aviation industry as mechanical flight engineer and aircraft design so I only run corsair components and this is definitely something that I would recommend

If you enjoy Corsair RGB system then this is the addition you need for added fan control. ICue software is easy to use and the commander pro offers a lot of features in the addition of RGB and fan control(temp senors, and a USB 2.0 internal header splitter)

It works as it's supposed to and does a pretty decent job at it. Corsair command center makes this a breeze to customize lighting and sync up all your fans. my motherboard no longer has to control fan speeds and I can change it on the fly for different situations

Great product. It works as indented and is easy to use and set up. I works well with other products not only with corsair. I'm using it to control my EK pump, and Lian Li fans. I would totally recommend this product.

I have 2 of these monsters in my new build in my 5000D Airflow. 10 fans and all are RGB made these a necessity. I have been using these in every build I do. LOVE them. They are super easy to find a spot to mount and make cable managing a breeze.

The Commander Pro allowed me to control my fan speed and also provide additional USB plugs for my other personalized devices in my computer. The product also came with 3M foam pads for me to easily stick it in the back behind my motherboard.

Trying to add a little more RGB control to my son's PC. The instructions weren't real clear on how this goes together. After watching a few videos on Youtube, we were able to get it working with the software. We have a Corsair 460X case and the Corsair Gaming Essential bundle with RGB components that work well with everything.

Love this thing. Made my life so much easier when building my new PC. You can connect up to 6 different RGB fans into this to make your life easier not only when building the PC but when controlling the RGB on the software. Would recommend.

This only works for Corsair and the ICUE software. Allows you to control the exact RPM for Corsair fans. This also makes technically allows you to add 6 more additional fans to your case. Wish the price wasn't so high, but all in all a good product.

I have six corsair LL120 white fans connected to it and I have another USB port on this unit that I can use for other devices if you dont have enough USB on your motherboard. Great product for RGB

Corsair Commander PRO is a must-have if you are desiring to run 3 or more fans with RGB and using Corsair's proprietary ICUE software. I have 8 fans in my rig and I simply need this to bring it all together.
