A Game-Changer for Precision Gamers
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently purchased the CORSAIR M65 Ultra Wireless Optical Gaming Mouse with Slipstream Technology in Black for my brother, an avid gamer. As someone who's used traditional gaming mice, the tunable weight system of the M65 Ultra intrigued me. After seeing my brother use it extensively, I am delighted to share my thoughts on this remarkable gaming mouse. Design and Build Quality: The first thing that caught my attention was the sleek and edgy design of the CORSAIR M65 Ultra. Its black finish exudes a sense of professionalism and elegance, making it perfect for both gaming and office use. The ergonomic shape fits comfortably in hand, reducing fatigue during long gaming sessions. The textured side grips provide a secure hold and improve control, making it a pleasure to use. Tunable Weight System: The tunable weight system is an absolute game-changer. CORSAIR has cleverly integrated a set of weights that allow you to customize the mouse's weight to suit your preferences. My brother experimented with different weight configurations and found his perfect balance, enhancing his aiming and control in FPS games. This feature makes the M65 Ultra stand out from its competitors, giving gamers an edge when fine-tuning their performance. Wireless Performance with Slipstream Technology: The wireless performance of the M65 Ultra is impeccable, thanks to CORSAIR's Slipstream Technology. The ultra-fast wireless connection ensures virtually zero latency, providing a seamless and responsive gaming experience. My brother noticed a significant reduction in input lag, giving him an advantage in competitive games where every millisecond counts. Optical Sensor and DPI Customization: The mouse is equipped with a high-precision optical sensor, which translates to pixel-perfect accuracy. The DPI (dots per inch) settings are customizable, allowing my brother to switch between sensitivity levels on-the-fly. Whether he needed to make precise sniper shots or swift movements during fast-paced battles, the M65 Ultra handled it flawlessly. Customizable Buttons and iCUE Software: The CORSAIR M65 Ultra offers several programmable buttons, which my brother used to map essential in-game actions and macros. The intuitive iCUE software lets you tailor the mouse settings, RGB lighting, and button assignments, providing a truly personalized gaming experience. My brother appreciated the seamless integration with other CORSAIR products, creating a unified gaming setup. Battery Life: The M65 Ultra's battery life is outstanding. Even during long gaming sessions, my brother never had to worry about running out of power. CORSAIR claims it can last up to 50 hours on a single charge, and in his experience, it lived up to that promise. Conclusion: In conclusion, the CORSAIR M65 Ultra Wireless Optical Gaming Mouse with Slipstream Technology has exceeded all expectations. Its tunable weight system, responsive wireless performance, and precision optical sensor make it a must-have for serious gamers. The ergonomic design ensures comfort even during extended use, and the customizable features through the iCUE software allow for a personalized gaming setup. If you're seeking the ultimate gaming mouse to elevate your performance, the CORSAIR M65 Ultra is a fantastic choice. I highly recommend it to any gamer looking to up their game.

Better than I thought.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.People have been concerned about Corsair's M65 right click double clicking and not working. I have to say I have never had a problem with any of the M65s. Maybe I've been lucky. This is my first wireless mouse and I have nothing but positive things to say about it. Both right/left clicks feel great and tactile. The feel is premium IMO and it looks "futuristic" and very modern/clean. I have also shaken the mouse in every direction possible, nothing rattles or feels loose. I have tried the Razer Balisik Ultimate and G502 Lightspeed, but this one was the most comfortable for me. The scrolling is smooth. You can also set the wireless receiver polling rate to 2,000 Hz and it'd be 0.5 ms. Don't get me wrong, Razer and Logitec have fantastic mice. This one to me feels perfect. Everything from connectively, drag - zero issues. I play COD, Battlefield, Apex Legends, Overwatch and the aiming/buttons are super responsive. I'd say try it for yourself. There's always a return policy!

Exceeded Expectations
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Coming from a Razer Viper Ultimate, this mouse is just as good, if not arguably better. It does NOT feel heavy to me, but it definitely has some weight, especially in comparison. The button quality has a springy sound, so it's somewhat creaky yet not distracting to me at all. The left click is definitely louder than the right, but the right click is very quiet. Quieter than the Viper Ultimate. The left click is still not louder than other mice, but it has a lower tone than the higher pitched clicks of other mice. It's comfortable on my extra large hands, does not fatigue my wrist and is easily customizable in iCUE. I highly recommend this for most gaming.

||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Corsair M65 RGB ULTRA WIRELESS is very good for FPS gaming. It has low click latency over both a wired and USB receiver connection, a very low lift-off distance, and a very wide CPI range, with a CPI you can adjust very precisely in increments of one. Also, it has a maximum polling rate of 2000Hz. It feels very well-built, and it's suitable for most hand sizes with any grip type. Unfortunately, it's very heavy even in its lightest configuration, and its rubber cable isn't flexible.

Sleek Design Meets Performance – A Gamer's Friend
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been on the hunt for a gaming mouse that provides both aesthetic appeal and top-notch performance, and the CORSAIR M65 Ultra Wireless Optical Gaming Mouse has mostly delivered. Here's my take: - Design: The sleek black finish and ergonomic design are immediately appealing. It fits comfortably in my hand, allowing for long gaming sessions without fatigue. - Performance: With Slipstream Technology, the responsiveness is impressive, offering precise control and smooth tracking. It's become a vital part of my gaming arsenal. - Customization: The customizable buttons and DPI settings provide an added level of control, allowing me to tailor the mouse to my gaming style. - Wireless Convenience: The wireless functionality is seamless and provides flexibility without sacrificing performance. - Slight Concerns: While I am mostly satisfied, I did notice a minor issue with the scroll wheel feeling a bit loose over time. It's not a deal-breaker, but it's worth mentioning. Final Thoughts: The CORSAIR M65 Ultra Wireless Optical Gaming Mouse combines a sophisticated design with high performance, making it a great addition to any gamer's setup. While there's room for slight improvement, especially with the scroll wheel, the overall experience has been positive. If you're looking for a reliable, stylish gaming mouse, this one might just be for you!

What is happening to CORSAIR?
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The mouse itself is super nice. Software is really good. Weight and tactile feel is 10/10. My mouse did die at the 2 month mark. The optical sensor failed. I reached out to CORSAIR for support and they agreed to RMA the product. However... they tried to make me pay for shipping? Which isn't cool considering they are the ones that sold me a bad product. After I argued with CORSAIR support they sent me a shipping label and the RMA was free. I have been a CORSAIR customer for 15 years and never run into this issue during the RMA process before. Whatever is happening to the company, it isn't good. Suddenly their stock price is starting to make sense.

That's normal process, seems like the team was able to do a courtesy pre-paid label for you, however. Do let them know if there are any other issues.

Looks and works great! Very customizable
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I already have a Corsair computer so it made sense to get the corresponding mouse and keyboard. The mouse works great and it has in-depth customizability. While I have not noticed too much of a difference, I'm sure some will appreciate the ability to add/subtract weight from the mouse. The side buttons are very convenient, such as in games where I set one of them as my reload so that I don't have to go all the way to click the "R" key. I haven't used the "sniper" button much, but that's because of the games I play. I'm sure in other games it is immensely more useful. The customization that you get with the ICUE software is very in-depth and gives you full control.

G502 Killer! Finally a competitive fps mouse!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Finally found a Corsair mouse to make me retire my G502 Lightspeed. VERY Pleasantly Surprised. Well Done Corsair.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. To me Corsair has always made solid mice but never excellent mice. Recently there has been a dramatic shift in their specs which make them very alluring. But still think they are falling behind in other important aspects such as weight, shape, QA, and materials, that keep them from the top spots but are moving in the right direction. While this mouse does more things right than wrong there isn’t anything spectacular to set it apart from the competition (besides specs) leading to another solid mouse that is their closest yet to excellent. I’d rate it solid/excellent overall or a 4.0/5. Of all the M65 variants this is by far the best. So, if you’ve enjoyed the shape, size, and weight in the past, you’re in for an absolute treat. As the only reason I don’t give it top marks (5 stars) is because my first one had defective clicks, the weight is excessive for an FPS mouse, and the primary clicks just aren’t as premium as other greats I’ve tried. So, I subtracted a star. But keep in mind mice are very personal and what works and doesn’t work varies from person to person. PROS: • The M65 is one of Corsairs flagship devices with an excellent shape and size. Perfect for claw grip. But works well for fingertip and palm depending on hand size. As the hump on the back of the device is quite pronounced with nice tapering on the sides for grip. There is a slight decline to the right making it slightly ergonomic for right-handers. • The aluminum frame makes the entire device feel extremely sturdy. It has textured rubber sides for grips that some may or may not like. This is definitely one of the best built mice I’ve tried. It’s just SOLID. • It comes with Corsairs Marksman Sensor (26K DPI, 650 IPS, 50G acceleration). Which is one of the best sensors on the market. It feels incredible and is ultra-responsive. I LOVE it. • The Slipstream Wireless supports “2,000 Hz Hyper-Polling”. However, I’m not sure if this is true 2,000 Hz. As they report 0.9 ms response time and it should be 0.5 ms. Regardless, it feels responsive, and I didn’t notice any drops. However, with them not including an extender dongle most people will have their Wireless Dongle too far away from the mouse leading to dropouts and stutters. But when placed in the correct position I had zero issues. • The Optical Omron Switches with QuickStrike Buttons are a neat and appreciated technology. To explain simply optical switches means immunity to double clicks with zero debounce delay making them VERY fast. QuickStrike means there shouldn’t be any pre-travel leading to an immediate click. The first one I got my primary clicks were defective. The second one feels a lot better but I still have variance between left and right click. Where the right click is a lot louder and feels more crisp and the right click is more quiet and mildly less crisp. Where other premium mice have both of them feel nearly exactly the same. Other Corsair mice I’ve tried have better clicks and do a better job with the quickstrike optical switches. • The Six axis gyro and accelerometer is more of a gimmick feature to me. I didn’t really use it but found it helpful for productivity work or single player gaming over competitive play for shortcuts. • It has great battery life (90 hours with slipstream or 120 hours with low latency Bluetooth). Having both Bluetooth and Slipstream is appreciated. As you can either have this paired to two devices or can extend battery life on a single device depending on what you are doing. • I found no issues with the PTFE feet. • Solid RGB lighting. • Scroll wheel is amazing. It is easy to middle click and has defined steps that come across as smooth and accurate. • My non-defective clicks have near instant actuation (extremely low if any pretravel), moderate post travel (if you bottom out otherwise immediate), with the left click being strong springback force and the right click having medium. Overall, feel good but not great. • Sniper button is in the ideal place and very easy to hit if needed. • I think this would be a great productivity mouse. As there are 8 buttons along with tilt features which can really come in handy. • There is a spot to put the wireless dongle in the mouse for travel. • Very attractive design and look. COULD BE A PRO OR A CON: • Weight is going to hit or miss with people. It’s 110 grams and comes with six included weights that can make it 128 grams. Personally, I’m an avid believer that lighter is better due to physics. Especially for FPS mice which this is classified as. But there are still plenty of people that like heavier mice, so they are the target market. I think if they made an Ultralight version of this mouse (around 65 grams) it would be a lot of peoples main/endgame device. CONS: • Doesn’t come with an extender dongle which can cause dropouts of the wireless depending on PC placement. At this price point and in 2022 this should be included. • Primary clicks are meh. Had one that was defective the other that just doesn’t feel fantastic. But this is me being picky. • Weight to me is a con as it is simply too heavy to be a top-tier FPS mouse. But I can still perform extremely well with it. • Software works well with plenty of customization. But is not as intuitive as it should be. Also, doesn’t show all the information that I want. Such as the percentage of battery left on the mouse. If this is shown somewhere, I missed it which comes down to user error. But regardless is not shown where it should be (next to the battery symbol) so is still an issue. • The paint on it picks up fingerprints like a boss. I never mention this because usually I don’t notice or care. So, the fact that I do notice it means it is pretty intense. • The switch on the bottom for wireless or Bluetooth requires a lot of force and sometimes is difficult to get it right in the middle to turn it off.
