This keyboard has shown me that spending extra for a mechanical keyboard is worth it! With the sensitive cherry switched in the keys and the helpful light up display this keyboard is made for gaming.

This is my first mechanical keyboard and it's great. Plenty of backlight customization. Keys have a great clicking feel/sound to them. I really like the USB port on the keyboard that allows my phone to charge while I'm playing. Also comes with textured keys for FPS and MOBA style games.

This is my first mechanical keyboard. I do quite a bit of typing and gaming and it feels really good. Was skeptical at first but now i cant see myself going back to non-mechanical.

Awesome keyboard, fast install drivers. Love the feel of the keys and the sound, plus the lights make it easier for night typing. recomended for people that like fancy keyboards

The keys are so responsive. There is a positive felt click when engaging the keys. No squishy nonsense that leaves you checking the screen to see if you hit the letter or not. I can type faster with more confidence with having to look up at screen when looking at another monitor. The keys can be switched for directional arrow keys asdw when gaming which feels natural and you don't have to look down when gaming because you can feel the direction keys. I am older but I am sure a younger gamer crowd will like the lighting patterns and options.

Excellent keyboard for what you're paying. You'll see a lot of competition at this price range but for both cherry reds (which are the quieter keys) and the corsair warranty, this cannot be beat. Easy setup with an additional USB port on the backside as well as drivers that allow customization of the lights. I'm boring and have mine set to the solid red color, but there are some interesting profiles like a rain effect or having waves come out with each key press. Whether veteran user of mechanical keyboards or just making the switch away from regular keyboards, look no further.

The keyboard is great for gaming and the keys are smooth to type. Software for Windows works very well can customize the lights on the keyboard.

Works great. Sensitive keys, 3 different light brightness settings, changeable grip keys for awsd. Fairly priced. I'd say go for it

First mechanical keyboard since before I knew what they were. I used to have one at my first job as a web developer 15 years ago. I'm new to PC gaming and sprung for this one with cherry red keys. It took some getting used to but now I'm loving it. Very few misfires now that I'm used to it. This keyboard is just awesome for gaming and for web development. The tool for changing to the FPS keys is handy and super easy. Definitely go try out different key flavors though. Most people like brown for their first.

Corsair puts out great products and this keyboard is no exception. The keys are firm and I love the way it lights up. Get one!

I love mechanical keyboards. Cherry MX Red switches hit just the right feel and noise level for me, personally. You will never really understand the wonderful feel of a good mechanical keyboard unless you try it for yourself. Perfect for any computer use, whether typing or gaming. Do your fingers a favor and spend a little extra cash for one of these over the "standard," cheap, membrane keyboards. You won't regret it. My only real complaint about this keyboard is that the LED options are a bit limited, but for the price that's a sacrifice I was willing to make.

I was looking for a mid range keyboard that had lights and was mechanical. This fit the pill perfectly! It's well crafted, is just as solid as the razor keyboards I've worked with before, and Corsair has a good support team. I love the key caps for Moba and FPS games. The red lighting only might be a deal breaker, but you can adjust it per key which was a big plus for me. I really love this keyboard as it offers Big Bang for your buck!

Great keyboard for gaming. Quick responding keys with no sticking. Seems to be a better quality than a previous keyboard that lasted less than a year.

Light touch, short travel, positive feedback. This is a real easy keyboard to like. I use multiple keyboards a day at work, mostly name brands, and they are pretty much interchangeable. I like coming home and using MY keyboard. It just has a better feel. Other nice features too like the lighting and different texture WASD keys for gamers. I have even used the macro program to assign a pattern of keypresses to a single key. Try it out;

I play PUBG and having this keyboard has been the best, it’s great because if you have a wired mouse it lets you attach it to the keyboard for easier access.
