Back in the 90’s a star was born and that star was Crash Bandicoot. The Crash game’s were a thing of beauty in my opinion and to say I had many fun and memorable hours playing these game’s would be a massive understatement. In fact I enjoyed these game’s that much that I would say that Crash Bandicoot is as profound in the gaming industry as both Mario and Sonic, and that’s quite a feat considering how huge both of them franchises are. As you can imagine then when I learnt that Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy was finally making its way to the Xbox One I jumped for joy and the best thing is that it was definitely worth the wait. This isn’t a bog standard remaster because a great deal of thought and effort has gone into all aspects of the different game’s that are available to you. They have also added a few extra features as well so what you get is the best Crash Bandicoot experience with new and extra content which fans of the game will love. These new features add to an overall package that is dripping in content and trust me you won’t find yourself getting bored anytime soon. In fact you will find it very difficult to put the game down because the replay value is off the charts and you definitely get great value for your money. You’ll also be pleased to know then that as far as the gameplay goes it’s pretty much perfect. Platforming and traversing in the game has never felt better and on the whole the gameplay is the right sort of challenging because it is both fun and challenging at the same time. There is also a huge amount of variety present in the gameplay as well and this is most evident when it comes to the level design. Each level is so intricate and cleverly designed which in turn means playing them never seems to get boring. In terms of gripes I only really have one and that isn’t a particular big gripe either. My gripe is about the vehicle levels because they aren’t as fun as the other levels due to the controls not being as responsive as they should. Like I said though this only a small gripe because I don’t actually dislike the vehicle levels. One of the most improved aspects over the original game’s is definitely the presentation side of things and without a doubt Crash Bandicoot has never looked and sounded better which means it fits in with today’s modern characters extremely well. At the end of the day Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is an absolutely glorious collection of game’s that are both perfect for veterans of the series and newcomers as well. Everything about the Trilogy screams perfection and when it’s all said and done it’s probably going to be up there with my top game’s of the year this year.

Crash is back. They did a very nice job updating the graphics. It's good to see some of the old PS1 games back. One thing that differs from the original is that going back through the level to get the other boxes seemed more difficult due to the bottom of the screen is a little shorter in its view. That makes it hard to see the pits and obstacles before your right on top of them. Great compilation of the Crash games.

The Crash Bandicoot N Sane trilogy brings back so many memories from my childhood. I played all of the Crash games on my original Playstation, and thoroughly enjoyed them. When I saw the remaster coming out I knew I would pick it up and introduce my kids to the world of Crash Bandicoot. The game is just as I remember it being - except I forgot how hard it was. I must have been better at this game when I was a kid because I don't remember needing as many resets. Haha. Anyways, as far as a remaster goes this is pretty top notch. The graphics look great, the sound is great, and I haven't come across any bugs or issues. This is a great game or adults and kids alike. I have had a few game nights with friends where we have loaded up Crash - your turn ends when you die. My kids love it too, albeit more for the dying rather than the winning. The game is signle player so you do have to swap controllers if more than one person wants to play. I hope they can pull together a remaster of Crash Team Racing to add to this - that would be awesome.

While the graphical update is stunning, the gameplay has not really aged all that well. It was frustrating then and it's even moreso now that I'm older. I just don't have the patience for repeating the same parts over and over again. My kids won't touch these games either, they're far too difficult for most kids. There is some fun to be had, but you will need to have some patience for these games to be enjoyable

So far I’ve barely put it down! If you played the old ones 20 years ago, you’ll enjoy the nostalgia. I forgot how hard these old seemingly simple games were. Also the graphics improvements are a huge plus. Highly recommend!

First off I would like to thank Activision for bringing this insanely fun, addictive and incredibly easy yet incredibly challenging at the same time game to the Xbox!!! That being said the once PlayStation exclusive is now on the Xbox and is all 3 games with two new bonus levels and incredible 4K graphics I couldn't be happier! Not to mention on deal with the day it was only $19.99, even at $39.99 it is a steal just for Nostalgia Factor I mean come on it's three games, 2 new levels Never released before and it's Crash Bandicoot! On Xbox you can't beat it! I think my greatest joy was watching my daughter play it for the first time and the look in her face and how much fun she was having reminded me of the first time I played it on the original PlayStation!

Love this game. Brings me back to my childhood. I do Feel as this game is a little harder than the PS one versions. But besides that. It’s still a fantastic game. And the graphics make it look absolutely gorgeous.

Crash Bandicoot is back for a nostalgia trip for those that have experienced the first three games, but only this time, the games are remastered to fit them all into a modern console. This is a game that I do recommend so you can at least experience the first three games in high definition whether for fun or nostalgia.

If you grew up with the Crash games in the 90's than this is more than worth the price. Controls are a bit wonky for the original game, but you'll get used to it, just don't count on muscle memory.
