I've been wanting one of these for awhile now, finally caught this one on sale at half off and just had to jump on it. I've used it a couple times now and so far so good, very much looking forward to getting some new recipes and cooking some more dishes, particularly having it cook during the day while I'm at work and coming home to a fresh meal. This thing is big but not so big where you'll have trouble finding space for it, seems fairly easy to use thus far, but may have to play with the settings to get things dialed in. For now this is as good as I thought it would be, technically it deserves 5 stars, but the way it was shipped just ticked me off once it arrived. The box it was shipped in was way too big, plenty of room for it to bounce around in with only one piece of bubble wrap taped to one side of the crock pot's original packaging which was laughable, then the tap on the outside was so poorly done that you could not only look in the box but easily reach into it as well. I was happy they did use a box to ship it in as opposed to just slapping postage on the outside of the original packaging as sometimes best buy will do but this was just so ridiculous that I just had to say something about it.

I've only just started experimenting with this device but it seems to live up to its advertised claims. Set-up was simple and clearly annotated. Pre-use cleaning was also straight-forward. I made Kalua Pork last weekend and it turned out well in about 1/4 the time it takes in the Slow-cooker. I'm glad I opted for the larger model as a 10 lb. pork shoulder would have been a tight squeeze in the 6 qt. size. My next experiment will be Chili or Black Bean Soup using the slow-cooking settings. I purchased this unit because it has settings for both traditional slow-cooking and pressure assisted cooking. It takes some getting used to, I suspect, especially the additional time you have to allow for pre-heating and cool-down for pressure cooking. I remember my grandmother had a stove-top Pressure Cooker but I can't recall anything she made in it so I will be starting fresh exploring all the many recipes which can be found online. All in all, I think this was a good investment for a Deal Of The Day.

Great and simple, but mine has a problem.

This multi-cooker is good for its value, but it does have its problems. My product issue might be rare, as other video based reviews have not shown issue with the pressure bob/valve. My pressure bobber has an issue with sometimes getting stuck during pressure cooker heating. I have to use the end of scissors to “assist” in helping the bobber rise while steam/pressure builds up. I have tried washing it and taking out the seal and resetting it but it still happens. It’s not a major problem but does require me to be present during heating. That is the only complaint I have, but it’s definitely worth the value. It’s very simple to use and easy to clean.

Bought this online. Amazing shipping super fast. Wonderful product and the bigger size is great for large families. Only downside is the box the actual product was in was pretty beat up with a rather big hole in the side. Thought it happened during shipping but the box it shipped in is absolutley fine. You can touch the product the hole is so big. Would say to buy instore if possible.

Easy to use and I love the way it browns and cooks. I’ve had it for about 3 weeks and use it like twice a week. I’m not really a fan of the quality or style of the little spoon that comes with it and it would have been nice if it came with a measuring cup. I have another brand also and it came with a measuring cup and it’s quite convenient

I had an electric pressure cooker that went belly-up and I wanted to replace it. I saw this as a "Deal of the Day" and couldn't pass it up. It is very easy to use, instructions are clear and intuitive. I've used both the pressure cooker and slow cooker functions and even boiled and simmered. It does take quite a bit of time to boil, so it would be nice if it came with the optional glass lid to help speed that up. I can't even find one online right now. That's my only knock on this appliance. So far, so good.

The slow cooker cooks good, the pressure cooker keeps triggering the error code E6, E5. The multi cooker which allows you to brown, boil and saute. this function will scorch your food because it appears that the program to simmer keeps it on high heat. Almost burnt up my chili, stews and sauces if I didn't stand there and monitor it. We should have did more research and read more reviews.

Fast and easy to use. 4 stars because the ads claim you can make a meal in 15 minutes - but that only means the cooking time is 15 minutes. It takes about 10 minutes to heat up then 15 minutes to cook then 10 minutes cool down. And doesn't seem to be a meal. you still need to cook the rice or veggies.

I just wanted a rice cooker to be honest. But my husband convinced me to get one of these since he watches too many cooking shows on YouTube. I've made spaghetti in it several times. It's super convenient...you brown your meat and cook your onions and garlic right in it using the sautée function. Then you put completely uncooked spaghetti (I buy the half length kind) on top of your meat and cover with whatever sauce you want. Add some water so the pasta is completely covered and cook it on high pressure for 8 minutes. Do a quick release and voila....homemade spaghetti in about 15 minutes and only dirtying the one pot. This pot is also even nicer than instant pots version because it's non stick. So much easier to clean!

It was a good deal at the time. Construction are very similar to other brands, just the buttons were different. Only cook with this unit once so far but it had issues using the steam function. It was shutting down by itself. Had to use another function to cook a chicken. Also the steam lock and unlock were a little picky to used. Had to move the mechanical lever a few times to lock the steam in the pot.

Bought it for discounted price $50. It's huge in size. Its actually an instant pot though it says crockpot. The first one the display went weird after first run. Bestbuy was quick and fast to order the replacement. The second one is working fine till now. Has pressure, non pressure, broil, slow cook, etc. It has literally all the functions you can think of in any other instantpot out there.

I got used to it and it replaced using my traditional stock pans that I used for cooking. This pressure cooker makes a huge difference when cooking thick slices of meat, chicken, and others. I also use it to make yogurt. The only two things I am not happy with are (1) the rack that is to be placed under a chicken for example, it became discolored from one cook and later became rusty, it is cheaply made. (2) a white small washer that keeps the bobbler in place came off when I was washing the lid. I didn't notice it before. I had to look inside the sink and around me and I finally found it and put it back. Such little piece can prevent this machine from functioning properly.

I am happy with my purchase, especially for the price. I've cooked various meals from gumbo, seafood boil with crab legs, salmon, steamed vegetables and chicken breast. My only complaint so far is that it forces you to unplug it when there is a error instead of just working once the error is fixed. It also heats for a very long time and if the food is already in there it overcooks.

This was certainly worth the purchase. I'm glad I was shopping for a gift for someone and ended up finding this bad boy. Cooked a roast and it was amazing. Only downside was I had trouble getting the lid off. After giving it a lot of time to cool down, I pushed the blow off valve all the way down and just like magic, the top came off!

Totally awesome machine. I have so far used every function it offers! It flies through cook time on the pressure cook function! Love it! Would have given it a 5 star, but it is so heavy. Wish it would have been more compact, and not so bulky, but still a great product!!

I’ve only used it 2 times so far. Once to make spaghetti, which was awesome because I didn’t even have to drain it, and last night I cooked potatoes for mashed potatoes. A little hard to drain without a regular lid. Lost a couple of potatoes to the sink, but worked nicely otherwise. It IS very large to store, but holds a lot. I wish it had a stainless steel insert though because from reading other reviews, the finish is kind of delicate & I am so afraid to scratch it. I might try ordering the stainless steel replacement pot made by Instapot, (if it fits) it is much nicer and can be put in the oven or stove too. Adding the price of the insert to the cost of the the Crock-Pot cooker, I should have probably bought an Instapot.

Am a big cook and I use this pot a lot. Sears very well before I pressure cook the meat. Simmers soups very well. Would’ve given a 5 star but recipes are very limited and some cooking times need to be adjusted. Overall excellent purchase and recommending it for beginners and hike cooks. Saves a lot of time!
