History books will teach your legacy

I must admit I love to this game so my review will be biased. It may be as I'm European and this is like a fun history class for me. Become a king and rule as you please: create a dynasty and decide how you want to be remembered. Love the fact you can be a evil or a nice ruler, all has pros and cons and there is no size that fits all. The conspiracies and court gossips are super fun (and I'd say quite realistic based on the history class back in school). You can conquer using love (marry your distant family member if you want her/his territory) or war, the goal is the same: rule them all (or as many territories as you can, as I'm not sure you can conquer the whole world). Each area has its own characteristics and you can't use same approach for Middle Age Europe or North Africa or Asia, so learn your history before you repeat old kings mistakes. It's not an easy game, it has an steep learning curve and it doesn't have smashing button techniques. It's more a management game than a quick fighting one, but if you like that style, you can play for years and never feel bored.

A game unlike any other on consoles. It is not a game with gameplay so if you expect a action game it will be a let down. But the depth of this game is amazing. No two games will play out the same.

I purchased this for my grandson. It took five months to get it because of the company that was releasing it but he likes it.

First time playing this game; I found it way too confusing and severely lacking in a modern-day UI experience.

This game mirrors the PC version. There is a decent ramp up. Most console players are not accustomed to this level of strategy. It does take awhile, but when get out of tutorial, game opens up to a tactical genius of a game.
