Customers are saying

Customers enjoy the Digital Air Fryer Toaster Oven's ease of use, air frying capabilities, and its ability to replace multiple kitchen appliances. Many appreciate its size and the quality of the food it produces, although some experienced issues with the control dial and inconsistent temperature. A few users reported a malfunctioning dial and excessive heat, while others noted some noise from the appliance. Despite these drawbacks, the positive feedback on ease of use and cooking performance is prominent.

    Sleek!

Initially I was concerned this appliance would overwhelm my counter space but I quickly adjusted to the size. So far it has been easy to keep clean. I like the features but it definitely takes time to learn how to use it! Many others have made similar comments. The directions need to be rewritten to include such things as the fact that while the appliance is off the light and motor continues to run as the unit cools down. I am never sure if it is on or off. May just be a learning curve so time will tell if I have a better understanding of it. It definitely is taking me much longer to figure it out. The unit runs very hot. Decrease the time and temperature or you will overcook things! I have tried the air-fry feature only once. (See previous sentence)

Good Air fryer. Runs hotter than displayed temp.

It is a good air fryer and does great baking. The main issue is that it seems to run hotter than the displayed temperature. Had to constantly either reduce the heat or the timer or both. It also tends to smoke the kitchen up for certain foods.

    Controls Broke Down

Worked fine for half a year, but the knob stopped working properly, so it can't tell which way it is being turned anymore. It's very annoying that trying to increase the time or the temp using that knob might instead decrease it, so I have to just sit there and keep trying. Planning on replacing it.

I replaced my toaster oven with this unit. Great saleprice by the way. Oven runs hot. Can't run it more than 300 degrees. The air fry is a great feature but everything cooks quickly and will overcook unless you watch. After 6 month. Just before Thanksgiving it made a loud noise and wouldn't shut off unless the plug was pulled. Cuisinart was good and say they will replace it. Then I must send the other back at their expense. With all the appliances I purchased over the years I never had one so bad. Thankfully I will get the new one soon.

Our second air fryer, this once also replaces our toaster oven. Be careful with the temps and cooking times. A little larger than expected. Easy to use and works well in both air fryer and toaster oven modes.

Very nice built unit with the AIR FRYER option. Does seem to run a little hot but just takes some getting use to.

My first TOA-65: selector dial went wonky after 5 months and stopped working after 9 months. Cuisinart replaced unit with another. My 2nd TOA-65: arrived with loose but functioning selector dial. After 6 weeks, unit remains in PreHeat Mode, does not cook at selected heat, and timer stops working. Cuisinart offers to send another, but I opt for the TOA-70 model which is not digital and has different selector dials. And sells for about $75 less than I paid for the TOA-65. Additionally, Cuisinart is now demanding I return the 26lb TOA-65 via UPS. I explained I am handicapped, & don't have a box or a means of transporting it. Cuisinart tells me to "work it out with UPS." Another note: Both my 1st and 2nd TOA-65 units cooked at about 75 degrees higher than the selected temperature, causing many things to burn or overcook. How my 3rd unit in less than a year, the TOA-70, will work out remains to be seen. I'm not optimistic.

It takes a little practice to get the temperature right but once you use it works great.

Disappointed. Bought this model because Consumer Reports recommended it over the next one down but in hindsight I would have preferred the easier operation of the other one. To me, this one isn't user friendly or intuitive. In my experience the recommended temps burn the outside and undercook the inside. Trial and error to find temps/times that work is a hassle. Drip tray stained after first use. Would be more upset if I hadn't mostly used rewards points to purchase it. My mistake that I didn't use it until after the return window had closed, wouldn't have kept it.
