Very Nice, With a Few Issues

I'm on day 3 with this computer and here are my thoughts so far: Pros: - PRICE. This machine was a very good value for what I paid (about 1100 open box). - The display and refresh rate are amazing. Coming from a 60HZ machine, I can definitely tell the difference! Scrolling web pages is soooo smooth! - The design and LED accents are very nice. Easy to match the keyboard and front light to your desk setup. Cons: I've experienced a few issues so far: 1. I have experienced the sudden drop in frame rate ( to less then 10 fps) while gaming that other reviewers have described. Remember to, not only use the Dell driver updater and Windows update...but also download Nvidia Geforce Experience and update the video drivers. I did this once and had the frame rate issues. Turns out, there was another video driver update available the following day. Since that update, I haven't had that frame rate issue again. 2. I had a really weird crash tonight. I wasn't gaming...just watching Netflix. Suddenly, everything froze. I couldn't even hold the power button to restart machine. I had to literally unplug the power supply, take off the bottom cover, and unplug the battery from the motherboard for a minute. After that, everything turned back on fine. I'm not sure what that was, but it concerns me that it happened after only 3 days. (All my dell drivers and windows were up to date.) 3. The machine does get a little hot for me. Playing Call of Duty on ultra gets me to around 80-90+ degrees, even on my cooling pad...getting about 60-70+ fps. 4. It's a little silly that Dell did not provide the required bracket to install a second M.2 hard drive on the motherboard. The little piece ( part number: PXNWV) is tough to find. Folks are even having to 3D print their own. Very silly. Overall, I'm enjoying the machine so far. I'll update this review as needed.

Bought this laptop recently, and have to say that it’s a great 17” gaming laptop. Battery life will last 5-6 hours on average easily and can be extended easily in settings. The 2070 and Intel i7 combo is giving me great gaming experiences. I will say though many will say thermals aren’t good on these on models but After doing all bios updates and updates in general, I’m seeing thermal performance typicality around 80-83c for the cpu and 70 for the gpu. Overall a great buy!

I heard alot about the throttling and overheating of this model but like other reviews say get it only if you are brave. If you have worked on computers or have good google search skills to learn how to cool this puppy down it is worth it. This is almost as fast as my Desktop that has an i9-9900k/ 32gb RAM/ GTX 1080TI. First do the bios updates, fix thermal settings, adjust power settings, and turn off turbo boost. You should be able to play most games on high. If you want to play Cyberpunk 2077 on RTX Ultra then you will need to replace the thermal paste, remove dust filters, and buy a specific cooling pad for it. I play on Ultra RTX settings just fine like this. You can also turn back on the turbo boost at this point. It runs from 70c to 80c with turbo boost off cpu and gpu run from 58 to 70. FYI I only use Cool power mode or Optimized so far in bios. I have not used Ultra Performance yet cause I believe ot would send me over the 85c in heat. Its seems the GPU gets more power in this mode by default to boost it but does not make much or any difference in performance. There are other tips and tricks you can find out online. If you are a gamer then you know that not everything comes together sometimes you need to put some work but this one requires actual work.

Great machine !!! pretty fast, beautiful design and easy to use. Some of the cool features include a lighted keyboard along with the housing lights under the front lower area for which you may use the color and the format of your choosing, the 'Alienware Command Center' interaction among many others. This device does operates pretty hot but a cooling pad easily keep those high temps in check.

I'm normally an HP Omen fan, still am, but with the current PC situation and not a lot of stock I thought I'd give the Dell G7 7700 a shot and I can say that this thing is amazing, with great graphics, speed and sound the only thing I wish was in it was a larger drive but other than that super in love with this system. Runs smooth only one minor issue and it's resolved easily by settings so for those on the fence about this PC I say get it, totally worth it! I'm still an Omen fan but I can say Dell has renewed my faith in their work!

I tasted more then 3 laptops, the most truly review. Why so many exchanges and 5 stars? in all this laptop is 4-, but I give to bestbuy 1 star more for the excellent job and patient to my decision. First one I've got was excellent at work, it was keeping all temperatures as needed without coolers, but it had problem with screen and backlight bleeding was at some points super extra, it was seen even on grey background G7 like yellow color. I checked 3 stores and all G7 "in store" didn't have any bleeding at all. At that moment I decided to exchange it and I couldn't imaging that all others will be vary tricky. They didn't have bleeding, but they were super overheated. During Browsing the internet they were 70-80 C. During games on mid settings CPU 90-100C GPU 83-87C, FPS? - no FPS.... Coolers helped get it Down to 90C and 80C and got FPS 60. I had to stop the game. One by one they were exchanged, I was trying to find the first one, no matter what bleeding there would be. what was the cause? - NO "normal" auto undervolting. And I found mine one! The last try - and I got it! At first it had horrible bleeding, seems it was under pressure, but it is vary light and seen only at start up black screen at night. And like first one it keeps temperature of CPU without coolers. Tests were passed well under 90C, sometimes it got 94 but immediately throw it down without big undervolting. Auto Undervolting working awesome when you're browsing internet or working in MS Office... No noise, no fan, absolutely calm! Games under 90C - CPU. GPU was 74C, on the high settings it is keeping 80C. But if I lift it some degree it is CPU 85, GPU 78C. I bought some cool thing (pad and vacuum), you can see on pics, they are awesome and help me keep temps under 80C- CPU 78C (4.2 Mhz), GPU 74C(1800Mhz), FPS over 100. So I'm happy, I'm giving mine 5 stars! Love it! So? what was the cause with overheating, where were problems and defects? Great question, but I have some answers. Maybe it can be intel defects? Difficult to figure out, but likely 30%. 35%-Dell's software, 35% motherboard. Dell has crazy soft. It is poor, always on errors and conflicting with all others that are monitoring FPS, CPU, GPU, even with GeForce Experience, - no it is not joke! Alienware CC was crazy, lost keyboard lights, stopped working, switched off games and do not installing properly, often reinstalling by itself. sometimes because of it you need to reinstall the windows. Power manager - the same picture - no errors - and no work. the problem is in the high performance mode, performance (G button). Bios do not help. when you're on the high performance it is not undervolting well, and I can say NO undervolting at all (0.02-0.15 - it's nothing when it is 99C). I change mode to balance - but undervolting still blocked, so the switching of the modes was a joke. After start up the fans were on 50% with empty screen and no tasks, no calm work at all. SO what will help to throw your temps? Uninstall all Dells software , switch to balance (adaptive) mode via BIOS. If there is still no undervolting you should speak to support, it shouldn't be so.

Overall, this has everything you need for a great gaming experience and do recommend, but be advised it is purpose built to be a gaming laptop. As such it is not a 2 in 1, so screen does not tent nor wrap around to create a “tablet”. There is no touch screen nor pen support. And while I think it is nicely packaged with 17.3-inch screen and .75-inch height x 15.7-inch width x 11.4-inch depth, its weight of around 7 pounds makes “portability” subjective. At this price point and with its specs I anticipated it would test out as a higher end machine but its 3DMARK score (a test for gaming performance/processing) of 7062 put it right in the middle for gaming machines. Average temp of 81 degrees C while testing is a tad high. Temp at rest is around 54 C. Its PC Mark 10 score of 5287 (more general everyday processing test), while being the highest of any computer I have tested, still just missed out as qualifying as a gaming device. To be fair it has run everything I have thrown at it. Running all my 1st person shooting games seamlessly averaging well over 120fps with some as high as 248 (but CPU hot 90C but didn’t really drop fps, but I don’t game for hours) and made using 2021 Adobe Photoshop and Premier (video) Elements editing MUCH faster and more pleasant experience than my desktop. Also, you have complete control over an array of color options which is fun to play with. Hard to believe that this unit could just be on the cusp of using “old” technology (it came out 10/20 I think), as there are already laptops coming out using Intel 11th gen CPU’s (and AMD) and newer GPU’s such as NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 – Asus comes to mind. The only constant is change particularly with computer components. This unit has the following specs; Unit is composed of Plastic/Polycarbonate and Aluminum. Has built in front facing 720p HD RGB camera, 30fps, with left/right microphones at the top. Right side Ports; SD card slot accepting SD, SDHC and SDXC 1 USB 3.2 Gen 1 connection – 5Gbps Left side Ports; Power port using supplied AC power brick Power and battery-status/hard drive activity light (use Fn+H to toggle between them) 1 USB 3.2 Gen 1 connection – 5Gbps. Has PowerShare (charge USB devices if connected even if laptop is off) 1 Headphone/Mic jack Back Ports; Thunderbolt 3 USB-C. Supports up to 40Gbps (I don’t have a thunderbolt device) but I do have a NVMe PCI-e external drive. I ran CrystalDisk using USB 3.2 and achieved max read speed of 430.55MB/s and max write speed of 418.62. Using Thunderbolt (using USB-C connection) I achieved max read of 1030.04MB/s and max write of 711.74. Also supports connecting USB-C to DisplayPort adapter for external monitor. Again, I didn’t have this adapter so could not test. 1 mini DisplayPort 1.4. I did not have this adapter either so could not test 1 HDMI 2.0 connection supporting 4K I do not have 4K monitor but did connect to one of my TV’s and it looked great but maxed out at 60 fps 1 USB 3.2 Gen 1 connection 5Gbps 1 Ethernet RJ45 Network Port. Documentation states using Realtek RTL8111H gigabit controller, but Speccy and Windows 10 device management states it is using Killer E2500 Gigabit controller. I copied 5.25GB movie using external NVMe PCI-e drive to laptop using USB-C port and it transferred in less than 7 seconds. Using same external drive using USB 3.1 port it took about 15 seconds. Same drive on my desktop using USB 3.0 connection took almost 25 seconds. So the laptop is definitely faster! Inside: Intel 10th gen I7-10750H at 2.6GHz (max 5GHz). 6 cores, 12 threads, 12MB cache. HM470 Chipset. I went into Bios and it stated was running at 3.3GHz. All cores are turned on as is Intel Turbo Boost and Intel Hyper-Threading 16GB DDR4 2933Mhz SODIMM memory (2 slots) expandable to 32GB (with rumor it will support 64GB). It is Intel Optane Memory compatible but I think Intel just announced they were dropping this. Windows 10 home 2 - M.2 PCIe 3.0x2 NVMe slots. Boot drive is 512GB Kioxia KBG40ZNS512G 2230 SSD. CrystalDisk score of 2107.26 Mb/s read and 1118.75 Mb/s write using 512MiB test, which is kind of middle of the road. The 512GB size created a problem when I tried to clone the drive for backup as 500GB drive doesn’t have enough space to do exact clone – wound up using 1TB drive I had lying around. Documentation indicates 2TB is max size for 2280 form – seems odd there is a limit. Also, in Bios settings RAID is turned on, but with only 1 drive I don’t know what, if any, version(s) of RAID it might support. 2nd slot is open but it seems there is a small bracket that is needed to attach the SSD that isn’t supplied. I opened it up to verify and it is not provided. I find this really annoying as it can’t be a 5-cent part. In researching this it appears to be difficult to find one and expensive if you do (part number: PXNWV) – I dropped 1 star just for this foolishness. This has been one of my issues with Dell for many years – way to proprietary (which they had gotten better) but they tend to shoot themselves in the foot by nickel and diming you with aftermarket needs. Screen is 17.3”, Full HD (1920 x 1080), (8.46 x 15.04 inches) with wide angle viewing. I could see it at almost 90 degrees. Display has a nice matte finish reducing glare nicely. Using Intel UHD graphics screen has 300.180 Hz. making for very smooth video. or NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070. States 8GB DDR6 memory with 288.05 Gbps, 2304 CUDA cores, 256-bit interface with clock boost of 1125 - 1590 MHz. Laptop screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 300MHz. Speccy states only 4GB memory so I am a tad confused about that. I connected to a 4K TV using HDMI connection (directly connected to card) and was able to set resolution at 4096 x 2160 60 MHz resolution (and it looked great with no stuttering watching a movie or playing a game). HDMI also allows for intel High-definition audio (HDA) output. Running thru soundbar audio seemed very separated by channel which is a good thing. For laptop sound there is Realtek ALC3281 with nahimic 3D Audio, Intel SST and NVIDIA high def and WDM as well. Built in stereo speakers with 2.5 W max output. They sound pretty good to me and are located on the bottom. Connected Shure Keyboard is a good size as you would expect given laptops 17-inch size, Id guestimate about 80% of my desktop keyboard. Has 4 zone RGB lighting and 12 zone Chassis lighting which can be setup using Alienware Command Center. I found the keys to have a nice tactile feel. Keypad is large with good feel but is offset to the left of center. Killer 1650i 160MHz wireless adapter. Compatible with 2.4/5 GHz and 802.11a/b/g, Wi-Fi 4(802.11n), 5(802.11ac) and 6(802.11ax). Stated max transfer rate of 2400Mbps. I 802.11ax router and the speeds I experienced were as fast as I pay for and matched what I get on my desktop using ethernet cable. Bluetooth 5.1 is also included with wireless adapter. Huge 97Wh, 6-cell lithium-ion battery. I looped a video with power set to balanced and it ran for just over 9 hours and didn’t have any issue with fan noise - Sweet! Took about 2 hrs. to fully re-charge 1-year warranty. Positives; Plug it in, start it up and it will walk you thru the setup process. I was up and running within 10 minutes. Extremely long 12 foot power cord. Alienware app allows you to customize machine to your liking, Settings including fan speed, performance, color, audio, etc. Has Dell SupportAssist – given your view on such things may be a plus or a minus. I ran it initially to verify everything was up-to-date and no issues. It takes a while if you run all of the options and sometimes “fights” with Intel or Windows updates. No real “bloat” software to get rid of. Boots really fast but I disable any software not really necessary during startup using Task Manager. It is very fast processing pretty much anything. Apps open quickly and having multiple windows open is no problem for this laptop. 1080P screen resolution/color is great for me with nice viewing angle. Being able to run multiple screens is nice and helps eliminate need for a docking station Fast as it gets wi-fi…. The USB ports are fast – especially if you have a USB-C device. 9-hour battery life is great. And comes with 2-piece almost 12-foot power cord with in-line power block. Easily “opened” to get to interior components. 8 screws on back and you are in. Interior is designed pretty well allowing easy access to battery, SSD’s and memory. Negatives; Does run hot. I have seen mention of redoing thermal paste and I will be doing this as soon as the paste arrives, I have ordered. Using Alienware Command Center to select Thermal setting of performance certainly helps but fan noise is a tad intrusive, but using headphones blocked that out. Can be somewhat confusing on where to go for settings as there is Alienware app, Intel Graphic Command Center, NVIDIA GeForce Experience & Control Center, Dell Power Manager, Realtek Audio Console as well as Windows 10 controls. Screen is attached to base with a large center support instead of the connection toward each edge. I am concerned about possible screen damage when opening/closing as screen is more prone to twist when using edges SSD is only 512GB which is small for gaming since each game can easily use over 20GB. 2nd SSD drive does not have needed bracket. I guess Dell had a price point to hit and they had to “fudge” somewhere but as I stated above this alone caused me to drop a star as its ridiculous. There are a lot of things to like about this rig. Overall, its nicely designed, easily upgraded and can be personalized easily and I do recommend. Just wish Dell sweated the small things as much as they do the large! Also be aware of newer laptops coming out all the time.

I really love this laptop. Its so much faster than my old one. I can actually play dead by daylight, phasmophobia, and other steam games on it. I love the keyboard and lights under the laptop. I will say, when you are playing games that take alot of power to work make sure the fans are not covered and well ventilated. It may be a good idea to get a laptop fan. Other than that I have had no issues and it has been wonderful.

Great Gaming Laptop it's fast and great running games and surfing the web ,It's updated to date. The only thing it gets very hot under load and starts to lower the frames, the fans can't keep the temperatures so I have it over my AC blowing cold air to keep the temperature at 45c.

This laptop can truly replace your desktop! The performance is absolutely amazing in a machine that is this, relatively, compact! Good battery life for a 17-inch laptop, much less a gaming laptop. I was able to achieve about 4 hours of lighter gaming and over 8 while doing light office work and listening to music! The fans stay very quiet through most workloads, only ramping up during heavier work. The fan noise during intense gaming is quieter than most other gaming laptops, still allowing for easy conversation over the fans, but still noticeable during talking and streaming. Performance during gaming is very impressive, offering similar performance to my desktop RTX 2060, including better performance in some titles (CS:GO, specifically at a 2-3% higher framerate). First person shooters are a blast, with the screen offering a fast and immersive experience that brings you right into the action. The built-in speakers are more than sufficient for gaming, music, TV and movies, sounding fairly full and loud enough to entertain a small group comfortably. Compared to other laptops, the speakers are some of the best at louder volumes, easily able to overpower the fan noise during intense gaming sessions. The biggest con to the system is the level of heat during intense workloads and gaming, it can get very warm while using on your lap, but this is easily mitigated by moving the laptop to a tabletop or placing on a laptop cooling pad. I would not recommend using any gaming laptop on your lap during any heavier workload or gaming session, but it is still comfortable to use on your lap in most situations. The 512GB of storage does leave something to be desired, but there is a second PCIe NVMe slot that is open for SSD upgrades (SSD bracket is required to be purchased from Dell). The system has a lot of room for upgrades and is very easy for user cleaning and upgrades! There are only 8 screws to open the casing, two of which pop the lid open like a car hood, leading to easily accessed common components that will allow the user or computer professional to upgrade the RAM, SSD, and for cleaning of components and fans (recommended to have a computer professional perform upgrades to not void your warranty)! Overall, this machine is very impressive for the performance it offers in gaming, office & schoolwork, video & photo graphics editing, and in battery life! I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a surprisingly portable gaming laptop that can easily replace a desktop, especially if upgrading from an older desktop (especially a GTX 1070 or earlier system). This would be an exceptional laptop for college students who are looking for a great option to perform on all levels they may need, including a capable 720P webcam build into the slim bezels! All games tested using GeForce Experience optimized settings, when available, and most recent drivers as of 2/26/2021. No other optimization of the laptop was done out of the box to show most accurate results for out of the box performance. COD: Black Ops Cold War on max settings, Ray Tracing and DLSS = 80 FPS campaign, 70-75 FPS online COD: Modern Warfare (2019) on max settings, Ray Tracing and DLSS = 85 FPS campaign, 75 FPS online CS:GO on max settings = 230 FPS (avg) The Outer Worlds on max settings = 130 FPS Doom Eternal on max settings = 135 FPS GTA V on max settings = Avg 75 FPS, GeForce Experience Optimized avg 110 FPS Cities Skyline on max settings, densely populated city = 55 FPS

I've had my eye on this laptop for some time. My laptop gave out so without skipping a beat I picked this beast up. I read several reviews regarding the high temps and thermal throttling prior to purchasing. I went online to see what could be done to mitigate this problem. All my research pointed toward replacing the thermal paste. At first glance the task seems a little daunting, but it really wasn't too bad. I took photos as I went along to make sure I put things back together correctly. The two thermal pastes that looked at were Arctic MX-4 and Kryonaut. I chose Arctic because it was considerably cheaper and Kryonaut only gives you and additional two degrees Celsius lower temps. Needless to say benchmark scores have improved and temperatures are significantly down. I have not changed any stock settings other than the thermal paste. So, if you are one of the brave that doesn't mind tinkering this laptop is well worth your while. Any other laptop with similar specs will run $800 to $1,000 more. Happy computing!!!

First thing about this. UPDATE THE BIOS. They come with 1.1 installed and that has a 300mhz video card lock issue. However with that said, update to 1.9 via the Dell easy update utility and let it run. I have had no issues since then. Running Battlefield V, Warzone, Star Trek Online, Mechwarrior Online, World of Warships and World of Warcraft with ZERO issues ever since at full graphics setting. So aside from the initial issue of bios needing updated I have been very satisfied with this desktop replacement. (PS - if you are buying a laptop for battery life this is not that laptop, this is a graphics power house and eats its own 95wh battery as if its pez candy)

Excellent Product, Overall rating 9.5/10 OVERALL The Dell G7 is everything you need right out the box for a 1080p gaming monster at high frame rates (200fps+). You can add 1 m.2 NVME SSD Hard drive in the motherboard by unscrewing 8 screws. You can also upgrade the graphics card by buying separately an external GPU enclosure and plug it in to the Thunderbolt 3 port. Beautiful Display 300Hz PERFORMANCE The RTX 2070 in this laptop is more than enough graphics power to play demanding AAA Games like Rainbow Six, where I am getting an average of 190 fps at Very High settings, low anti-aliasing. Rocket League maxed out the 250fps limit and played at 250fps at high settings in 3v3s. Because the graphics is the full power mobile RTX 2070, it is an awesome graphics card. SPEAKING of graphics cards, the Thunderbolt 3 USB-C port in the back is compatible for external GPUs. So if you want to upgrade the graphics down the line, you would just need an external GPU enclosure. DISPLAY The 300Hz 1080p display is a sight to behold. I have never gone over 144Hz but with the CPU and GPU combo you can get amazingly high framerates (250fps + high settings), super smooth, super bright. CONNECTIVITY The computer has a total of 3 USB ports and a THUNDERBOLT 3 USB-C port that is excellent. In the back, it has HDMI, DisplayPort Mini, Gigabit Ethernet, a USB port, and a Thunderbolt 3 USB-C. There is also a fullsize SD Card reader on the right side of the laptop. Everything you need. Great laptop, worth buying given the GPU situation.

So far, so good. It’s been a month now and I love my laptop. I needed to purchase an external hard drive so that I can download more games but that’s expected with pc gaming on a laptop. For what it’s worth, GET IT.

Over all an amazing computer the only reason I didn’t give five stars is because i use this computer for professional and personal use and I have to restart my computer every day because the caps lock light and the number lock light always get stuck either on or off. Also I know everything can be found online nowadays but this is my first ever laptop purchase and no where did it come with a user guide or manual either electronically or paper and I just find that really irritating for a $2000 laptop to not come with the user manual where I can review every single thing I would want to know about this computer, even on the dell website it’s only certain specifics not a whole manual.

Portable Desktop that plays today's games

Using the "laptop" for gaming and benchmarking, I was able to run any game today at ultra settings pretty well, though it is a very large computer and not very portable. Form and Design: When you get the laptop and take it out of the box, you'll notice how heavy it is. As Dell says, it is thin, which is accurate considering what you get, but the 17-inch display still makes this a big and heavy laptop. On top of that, you also have the massive power brick. From my experience because of this, the laptop is not very portable, you're going to put it on your desk and leave it there. The touchpad works great for office use, but you need a mouse (and probably a keyboard) when you're gaming. The keyboard on the laptop is kind of odd since it also includes a number pad and so it feels like everything is shifted to the left when compared to other laptops I've used. The touchpad is also under the main keyboard so it's also to the left, which seems like whoever designed this doest play games as it would make it somewhat useful if you had the touchpad on the right so you can use two hands. The other thing I would like to have seen is more USB (both a and c ports). You have one USB C and two USB A, but if you plug in a mouse and keyboard you don't have any free USB A ports so you need some sort of a hub in the USB C port. I would also have like to see the USB C be the primary way to charge the laptop, instead of the proprietary dell plug, but since it takes so much power most of your USB C chargers won't work. Considering the size of the laptop, when it's close it does look good. Specs and performance: I ran a few benchmarks and played a few of the games I normally play on my desktop. I played on ultra and didn't see any issues. The laptop also wasn't crazy loud even when running on gaming mode. So you'll be able to play any game out today at ultra or high settings. The screen looks good too, the colors are nice and probably the best laptop screen I've seen. Usually, I would say plug in a screen to play when at a desk, but this one looks good. The one thing though is I wish the refresh rate was lower and they went with 2k or 4k instead. Unless you're playing FPS online all the time, for most games (especially single player) the visuals are better with a higher resolution. The hard drive itself is too small. You only get one 512 GB SSD, which is good for performance but if you only have windows you'll be able to have 3 or maybe 4 modern games and you'll be out of space. So if you also use the computer for other things, you'll end up running out of space fast. Overall and recommended uses: The performance of the laptop is great, even though it's a little behind the current-gen on the graphics side (not getting the 30XX). But because of the size it's not something you'll be moving around. If you are playing games in the same house, you're better off getting a desktop as you'll just have this on your desk. If you do need a laptop because you go from one house to another then this is a good choice.

Fan goes from 0% to 50%

I bought this laptop and observed that CPU fan goes from 0% to 52%. It never runs at 20%, 30%, or 40%. I called Dell support and they said it is defected and they could send somebody to fix, but I declined because I had 15 days to return or exchange it. I decided to exchange for the same exact model. For my dispair, the new one came with the exact same problem. In both cases I did all that support recommended: updated drives, flashed BIOS, etc. Don't take me wrong. Fan at 50% is not that noisy, but the fact that I got 2 laptops in a row with the same problem may indicate a general problem with this model. And I am picky with new computers. I am willing to give it another try and exchange one more time, but if this is a common problem perhaps I should just go with another brand. So, I hope to get insights from other users. Can you please tell me if you have the same fan behave? To check fan speed, open Alienware, go to Fusion, set profile to Quiet. Do you get speeds like 33% in CPU fan? or does it go from 0% to 50% (or above) like mine? Thank you so much.
