Great For Your Personal and Business Endeavors!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, great product and would recommend! I have no complaints for the "Dell - Inspiron 15 3520 Touch" Laptop. It meets all of my personal and business endeavors. Work, school, and entertainment such as movies and music. Multitasking is a necessity for me and it meets my standards with 8GB of RAM (Random Access Memory.) One point I will take away is that the keys on the Keyboard do not light up, so it makes it a bit of a challenge to see what keys to press when I am not in a well lit area or simply desire for my room lights to be turned off unless I tilt the monitor in an uncomfortable position. It would have also been great if this PC had at least one USB-C port, but I can suffice with 3 USB-A ports. The touch screen feature is perfect and the sensitivity is precise. I love how the screen is also able to easily open with little resistance, and the henges are on firmly so I do not have to worry about striping the screen from the base of henges. It does not concern me to much that the laptop (specifically around the screen and keyboard area) is mainly consisting of plastic since I will be the only one using this PC.

Would buy again
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is more on the affordable side. Great for class with plenty of storage for large files. The only downside is the size of the laptop and the battery life seems to die more quickly than I’m used too. Otherwise, I love it.

Dell is good, Windows 11 AI is annoying
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good laptop overall. Dell is a quality brand. Didn't like the Windows 11 pre installed with a nanny AI...you have to go in the settings and manually turn it off for the laptop to function as expected.

Really nice laptop
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop has been a great investment. It works great for my needs with personal and school life. My only issue is after signing up for a dell account I get a lot of spam/scam emails and got a notice of my email on the dark web.

On the fence!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I tried to play pogo games and it constantly freezes. Otherwise the laptop runs smooth and no issues. It may be the game itself.

Great Laptop
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ive had the laptop for almost a year now and it hasn't given me any problems. The battery last around 5hrs a day and tge loading screen is quick. I think ym only negative is that it sometimes doesnt want to conncet to the wifi. Even going into settings to turn on the wifi isnt an option and so i have to restart the laptop again, but that could just be a me problem.

Great for the money
|Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let's get started with an obligatory "It's not perfect." This computer is made of plastic, it has a matte screen, no backlit keyboard, and uses a proprietary barrel connector for charging. At a distance, it looks sleek and professional. Up close, you realize it looks and feels like plastic... because it is. However, I was able to purchase this laptop for $150 with a year of protection after a sale and some trade ins, and what I got was a powerful 6 core, 12 thread AMD Ryzen 7000 processor with outstanding battery life and a touch screen display. It even comes with a full-size SD card slot. To put into perspective how well these components work together, I am able to use this laptop for an entire day of school and work, with about 2 hours of Jurassic World Evolution at 60FPS Medium with a single charge. Yes, it can play games at a respectable level on the battery and still get through the day. I'm going to cover it in stickers to hide the plastic and get a silicone keyboard cover to fix the unapologetically cheap-feeling keys, and you can also get an adaptor for the barrel connector so you can use a USB-C charger instead of the bulky proprietary one. Don't overpay for this laptop. If you can find it on sale, great. If you can trade in for an additional discount, even better. Again, I got mine for $150 with a year of protection. It is unbeatable for that.

Not high end, but worth the purchase
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fast i5 and a smoking deal if you catch it on sale. The touch screen is very responsive and the hinges are strong. You don't get the screen wobble. The plastic is a little soft, at full price, but if you catch it on sale, it's 100% exceptible and a great home/ school/ work outfit.

Great laptop
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great laptop for the price. I got it on sale for $380. Its a steal at that price. But the normal price is still good. No aux input, and the material gets covered in fingerprints. Those are the only minor flaws Ive found. Oh, huge flaw its something like an"S" model or something which means it wont allow any software or apps unless from the Microsoft store. However, you can bypass it. Follow steps on youtube as its hard to explain. That caused me a wasted afternoon to try and figure out.

Some reasonable trade-offs, but otherwise great.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have worked in IT for 20 years. When folks come to me needing a laptop, for most people I recommend any Chromebook that has what they want and meets their budget. It's really all the computer most people need. College students and small business owners need more than a Chromebook, and this would be my recommendation for them. This laptop should have all the processing power, storage, etc., needed for any average computer user. Downsides are minimal given the price. The keyboard is not backlit, but it is reasonably comfortable to type on. The screen isn't amazingly colorful or bright, but it is adequate. There are no USB-C or Thunderbolt ports. There is no biometric authentication (no fingerprint or Windows Hello camera). The webcam is 720P and acceptable. The HDMI port only allows 1080P output - fine. Battery life is acceptable - probably ~5 hours of light usage. Before Apple Silicon that would have been a bigger deal than it is today. The laptop is reasonably sturdy and well-built. I think it would easily survive a typical 4-year college career. I love the full-size SD card slot. I use SD cards often - both microSD with an adapter, and full size SD cards, so having a slot built in to the laptop is a big deal, and is honestly a big reason why I bought this laptop. I love the touch screen too. I will never understand why Apple refuses to put touch on their laptops. I don't use touch all the time, but it is nice to have. In a world where the M1 MacBook Air is often on sale for $750, I would not pay the full $600 for this laptop. Get the MacBook Air instead. But if you can get it on sale, I paid $350, it's a great bargain. And like I said, it's probably all the laptop you need.

Great value and dependable
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We purchase this model (and similar ones) for our restaurant operations reporting. The restaurant is a tough environment and we don’t like to risk expensive laptops where they are often spilled on, dropped, broken or stolen. I took away a star because it does feel a little flimsy but the core i5 is plenty for our basic needs. We’ve installed these models in over 100 installs for years and rarely have a problem. For the price, it’s a really great value, especially with the touch screen.

Hardy computer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a hardy computer. I don't feel like any of the pieces will break off (like my son's last laptop), but it makes it a little heavier than all the laptops in my home. The Touchscreen is responsive and works well for what we need. It's maybe not quite as fast as my husband's Acer, but definitely not slow. Otherwise, I've been very happy with it. Set up was quick and easy. It connected to the old and new printer easily.

Pretty Good
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far I like the laptop. It is quick and the screen looks nice. My only complaint is the keyboard feels really cheap and I wish it was lit. Lighted keyboards make such a big difference.
