This is a great computer for an excellent price. The only reason I gave this computer 4 stars instead of 5 has nothing to do with the computer but the fact that the advertising by best buy is slightly misleading. (I'm not sure if Best Buy is aware that it is inaccurate.) Best Buy advertises this computer with 8GB of RAM which technically it does. However you only have 6 GB of RAM usable since 2GB is shared with the Graphics Card.

So far, so GOOD! I just got a job as a Telephone Interviewer (from home job). So, I needed a newer laptop. I got this one after hours of debating and I’m glad I picked it! I love Dell computers. I’ve used them for YEARS. If you’re looking to use this for gaming, I can tell you right off the bat that this isn’t really a gaming laptop. But, for personal use, business/work, school, and anything along those lines, FOR SURE!

Meets all of of my needs for light work related tasks and general browsing the internet. Wish the keys were backlit; however, I knew when I bought it that they weren't but didn't want to pay more. All in all I'm satisfied with my purchase.

Bought dell laptop from Best Buy. The laptop breakdown in 3 weeks!

Overall this is a pretty good laptop. Its SSD is very fast, 8gb of RAM is a little weak (with nothing else running, the OS takES up about 40% of RAM by itself), but the RAM is easily upgradeable. Its $80 for another stick on HP's website and if you sign up with them you get a 20% off coupon. Something that surprised me was enjoying the touchscreen. I expected it to be a gimmic, but it ia very useful. It does lead to one of my two complaints that I'll touch on now. My first complaint is after getting the laptop and starting to enjoy the touch screen, i found myself really desiring it to have the 360 degree rotation like some other models. This is not a big deal, just something i noticed myself wanting. The second negative is the plastic case. I went with this model because I was trying to stay under a certain price, and valued the larger screen and the numerical pad on the keyboard over an aluminum case and I definitely made the wrong call. If this thing is going to sit on your desk or stay in your house and not go very far its no big deal. But if you've got it shoved in a backpack with 30 pounds of books, its a no go. Half the time I'll pull it out of my bag and it will be turned on, I guess the plastic case is flexing so much that the power button gets pressed? Idk but I wish I would've gone with a 14" model with an aluminum case instead. Overall though its a great laptop for what it is, good for lighter workloads like internet browsing, reading etc. I'm an online student so lots of times I'll have a bunch of tabs on Chrome open, along with Word or PowerPoint and a few other programs running all at once. This will in no way hurt the computer (Linus Tech Tips did a video where he opened I believe over 200 Chrome windows before he got a similar speced PC to lock up). However it is getting the utilization on that 8gb of RAM up there. If you're doing anything more than what I just described, this one isn't for you. If you're just web surfing and doing some light workload stuff, it wont be a problem.

Great laptop for the price. At first I was skeptical, out last AMD product was sub par and we went back to intel only purchases. After a good 5 years away, I decided to try another AMD product. This laptop is fast and does everything my son needs for college!

I purchased this laptop because I needed a touch-screen laptop for my upcoming business that was a reasonable price, fast, and convenient. I came across this laptop since I always loved Dell and decided to give this a shot after reading reviews and sounded like a good quality laptop and let me tell you this is seriously the best laptop that I have owned in years! Have owned this for 2 years and is running strong. Bought this out of a last minute need and has been great. Plays video games just fine, love the touch screen for when using on the couch.

Excellent for the price; after owning HP computers for 15 years I was hesitant to try another brand among so many others. I grew to dislike HP due to overheating issues that seems to plague HP. This Dell meets what is required of it daily. I don't write reviews but felt compelled to influence anyone trying to make a decision. Only downside I can state is opening the the laptop seems awkward if you have big hands; ergonomically would help if there was a notch for your finger to physically open, Battery life is true to specs.

This computer is great for what I need. It is easy to use and fast enough for all the jobs I have for it. I am not a tech savy person so I relied on the Tech at Bestbuy to guide me through the process of picking a computer to replace my old one using Windows 7. He asked me several questions including how I will be using it and for what purposes as well as how much I would like to spend and gave me a couple of choices. I told him I like to touch and see the computer before buying and he checked to make sure the ones he picked were in stock at a branch near me. With that info I was able to go and pick which one I wanted. It has worked great so far!
