I bought this product because my 2013 laptop is old and slow. Unfortunately, this product is slower than my old computer. I think what I bought is defective and I cannot return it anymore. As you can see the image below, internet rakes about 4-5 seconds to open and it's the same with any software. The mouse keeps freezing. Word documents are doesn't work sometimes. I am extremely upset.

      Micjac,

Thanks for your review. We're sorry that your computer is performing slowly. We'd recommend running the Windows Performance Troubleshooter to see if there are ways for your computer to run faster:

      1. Close all open windows.
      2. Press the Windows logo key + X key on the keyboard.
      3. Click Control Panel.
      4. Click System and Security.
      5. Under Security and Maintenance, select Troubleshoot common problems.
      6. Under System and Security, click Run maintenance tasks.
      7. Follow the on-screen instructions and prompts to complete the process.
      8. Restart the PC.

So far , this machine works well . It is pretty fast . Convenient touch screen and the mouse and keyboard work well . The mouse that came with the computer was defective - the right mouse click button was broken , but we had a back up . Good for the low price . Does email , Facebook , web search , news page and other things we might not even use . Buy yourself one and see ...

Seems to be okay. Trying to get familiar with settings and how-to's. Keyboard must be a cheap one; it doesn't even have the symbols on the F keys. Having a little trouble with the Dell mouse stalling. Just working out the kinks, so to speak.

The computer itself is ok nothing to Bragg about. The mouse and key board are junk: The mouse doesn't always detect that you moved it and the key board fails to type some letters or types up to 8 more of the same letters with just one press. Even if you only press one key at a time. This is a problem when you type a password. Sometimes you have to do it several times and hope you don't get locked out.

I bought this to replace the one that was basically the same thing that was freezing up all the time. This one does not freeze up but some times the mouse does and it runs slower then my previous one which was a Dell inspiron 23.8 also. It was 5 years old. This one works it is just not fast and the mouse freezes up sometimes.

      pro623,

We're sorry to hear about your If you'd like to re-calibrate your mouse you can follow these steps: Some Notebooks and Tablets with Keyboards have added gesture features to the touchpad hardware and drivers. A few of these features are two or three finger scrolling, pinch zoom, circle zoom, rotate and swiping. These new features may be the reason for the erratic cursor movement since most are turned on by default. You can disable or modify the way the features work in the touchpad driver properties. Here are some tips to modify these settings:

      1. In the Search box, type main.cpl.
      2. Touch or click main.cpl in the list of programs.
      3. Touch or click the Dell Touchpad tab.
      4. Touch or click on the picture of the touchpad.
      5. Touch or click Gestures (depending on your computer there may not be a Gestures option).
      6. Change the options as preferred.
      7. Touch or click Save.
      8. Touch or click the X in the upper-right corner to close the Dell Touchpad Utility.
      9. Touch or click OK on the Mouse Properties window.
      10. If the touchpad still does not work after following the preceding steps, refer to Dell Knowledge Base article - http://dell.to/2iaiujA.

In a very tough and trying time trying to survive a pandemic such as COVID-19 trying to keep our jobs and being forced to purchase two desktops in order to successfully continuing working from home as our employers do not have enough computers or laptops to provide, we personally purchased two desktops with the only option to buy open box items as this product has been sold out for new ones for months. We bought two of the exact same Dell All in One Desktops. One came with everything described in the Product Description and the other one did not. One was shipped from Florida with everything as described while the second one was shipped from OH and was missing the wireless keyboard and mouse and was switched out with a regular keyboard and mouse that was not wireless which was not what the product description provides. Yes we got this at a discounted price for an open item; however, switching out items that are not in the product description is just wrong and not good business. You would think during this tough time business would not come to this by switching out products like this and provided items that are not listed in the product overview and description.
