Flawless Wireless Keyboard/Mouse Package
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am very impressed with the design and operation of this wireless keyboard and mouse package. I am able to instantly and reliably connect it to Windows or Chrome devices. I can not recommend this package highly enough, the performance and multi-device pairing is flawless. Do not be concerned about them being too compact, they make for an excellent primary mouse and keyboard. The mouse is very comfortable to use and fits naturally in my hand. The optics are outstanding and makes for very precise tracking. The scroll wheel operation is smooth and controlled. The mouse is right hand oriented, so left handed users might have to make some adjustments to compensate. I normally don’t prefer compact keyboards because they make too many compromises, but this keyboard is an exception. It strikes the perfect balance between function and size. It is very ergonomic, and the layout makes the buttons easy to reach and use. The keyboard is not backlit, but likely this is to maximize the battery life. The 2 possible connection methods are wireless (1) or Bluetooth (2,and 3). Two different Bluetooth devices can be paired into memory for an instant connection via keyboard hotkeys. Whichever method is used, setup and use could not be easier. For wireless (1), the first step is to pop the mouse cover off and remove the USB receiver and insert the included AA battery. Then insert the 2 included AA batteries into the keyboard by removing the cover on the underside. Then turn them both on by way of an on/off switch. Insert the USB receiver into your device If you are using the wireless connection (1 is the default connection). To use the USB receiver there must be an available USB-A port. Once the USB receiver is inserted, Plug and Play is initiated and the necessary driver is downloaded and configured. It only takes a few seconds before the keyboard and mouse are ready to use. To use Bluetooth there are buttons on the top right hand corner of the keyboard that toggles between the connection choices (1,2,3). Then search for the Dell mouse or keyboard in your Bluetooth device list, and pair it. Once paired it will be permanently stored and easily selected via the keyboard hotkey. Using Bluetooth to connect does not interfere with the use of Bluetooth headphones or speakers at the same time. If Bluetooth is the primary connection method, then the USB receiver can be conveniently stored in the mouse until it is needed. The AA batteries are rated to last 36 months. I have been using them extensively for the last week and the batteries are still showing as 100 percent, so I have no doubt that they will last as long as they are rated too.

Need a versatile, high quality keyboard? Get this!
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.WIth a metal chassis and compact, well spaced keys, I couldn't ask for anything more from this keyboard. The mouse fits perfectly into my palm and eliminates cramping which I have experienced with many other (un)ergonomic mice. Also it connects to three seperate devices so you can switch back and forth effortlessly. Key height is the perfect middle ground, giving a satisfying soft click without being loud or hard to navigate. One set of AA batteries last at least a year if not more! Would recommend.

wireless keyboard mouse combo
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like this wireless keyboard and mouse. I had been using a different wireless mouse and a wired keyboard. This keyboard is thinner and the keys don’t travel as far. It didn’t take long to get used to the shorter travel on this keyboard. I really like it now. Both the keyboard and the mouse have a small power on/off switch. I like that so the batteries should last longer. The keyboard is a bit narrower than my old keyboard and does not have full size arrow up/down keys. That is really my only complaint about the keyboard. The height is fixed, so you cannot tilt the keyboard, but it works fine for me. They seem built very solid and there is no lag for me when using either the mouse or keyboard. When I turn them on, they connect quickly every time. There is a USB wireless remote that you plug into your computer. Once it loaded the driver it was ready to go. If you are looking for a wireless keyboard/mouse combo, I would highly recommend this one.

Excellent combo.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I received this to review because the insane amount of wires attached to my work setup was driving me up the wall. This setup was a night and day improvement. The keyboard is made of what looks to be aluminum and both the keyboard and mouse have some weight to them making them feel well made. The connection went relatively flawlessly to my Dell laptop. I did have a problem updating the firmware, it took about 5 tries till the mouse firmware finally updated. End result is a heavy duty keyboard and mouse that has upwards of 36 months of battery life. It looks and feels spectacular and the price can't be beat in my book.
