Great 1440p monitor.
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the colors. The 165 hz is great for gaming (and I do use it at 1440p with my 3090) usb hub is quite useful. No speakers but I’d recommend this monitor i love it. I use it in conjunction with my LG UK850 4K monitor set to 1440p and I like this one more.

Great monitor, no issues
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent display; crisp picture, easy to setup, and display port + hdmi makes it easy to connect two devices at once, or choose your preferred connection method. The only detriment is no on-board speakers, but if you're buying this monitor for gaming, you likely already have external speakers or headphones.

Solid performer, great deal. Long warranty too
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome: - I like that this comes with a 3 year warranty. My LG ultrawide died after 14 months, and their warranty is only 1 year. - The build quality is great. It feels solid. - It's a "gamer monitor" but it's no gaudy or full of neon plastic. The back glows blue but it's pretty subtle - 165 Hz is so smooth and nice to use - Branding is pretty subtle Caveats: - No internal speakers (but there's a stereo headphone jack on the bottom left) - The monitor rotates, which is great. But when you're assembling it, when you first unbox it, the bottom bracket LOOKS like it is misaligned (it is not) because it's rotated 10 degrees off center. Do not fret! Just assemble it, and once it's assembled, place it on its stand, and then will you have leverage to spin it on its base back to center. Having so many monitor issues lately, even on "high end" monitors makes me really rethink and place higher value on warranty policy than before. I will probably be seeking Dells or other manufacturers who have good warranty policies in the future for this reason.

Was $500 but is now $380 (5-13-21) Don't Sleep!!
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: Great for gaming. Lots of nice features. You can raise and lower the screen, pivot display from left-to-right as well as up-and-down (or maybe forward-and-back is a better descriptor), it looks cool, it has a nice blue light on the back that creates a cool blue glow on the wall/space behind the monitor, plenty of inputs (2 HDMI, 2 USB, one aux line out, 1 DP. Cons: Monitor is unable to provide blacks and other dark colors very well. While watching movies or TV shows with night time scenes or when characters are in a dark and dingy space, it makes for a poor viewing experience; it's a very blurry and splotchy feeling that kind of takes you out from behind the fourth wall. Also, no built-in speakers or camera/microphone. I think those features are available in the next higher bracket of spending (e.g., LG UltraFine 4K and LG UltraFine 5K displays for $700 and $1,300 respectively) as opposed to this monitor for which I paid $500 plus tax. There are a ton of settings to be messed around with. I honestly just keep it on "standard" or "normal" or I'll switch it to "warm" at night for the health of my eyes. I bet it'd be possible to fine tune all those display settings for an ever better picture image quality. The menu itself is *ok* - it's not great and super intuitive but it's really not that bad either. Overall I would recommend this to someone who is buying their first monitor and/or isn't flush with cash. It works well as a second display for my laptop but like I said if I go to watch a movie the dark colors look pretty bad. When I purchased this monitor (November 2020) it was $500 and now (May 2021) it's $380. Go for it!!

Satisfied
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had this bad boy for 6 months and not looking back. Upgraded from a 27in Samsung 1080p curved display. That one I still have as an extra monitor for my laptop but with getting the new Xbox, I wanted a monitor that can match the output of the Xbox. Sure, it isn't 4k but 1440p is such a sweet spot and even though the Xbox can only do 120Hz, it is noticeable jump from 60Hz. The UI is nice and the nipple button for navigating is super easy to use plus the subtle RGB behind the monitor is a nice touch and not overwhelming at night. Only con was it has no speakers so I had to buy those but a cheap $15 pair does the job when I want to watch Twitch or YouTube, otherwise would definitely buy again.

Get one if you are on the fence
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was stalking this monitor over the weekend and nearly bought it, went on sale today and picked it up. This is a great monitor, no speakers but get a good set of over ears and you'll be good. The other thing is (for some) is G-sync certification. Works with RTX cards this is Nvidia certified and my 3070 picked up the Dell without issue. I am not a power user but the colors are excellent out of the box, no dead pixels, or issues out of the box.
