Powerful and portable. Great on-the-go laptop
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've seen a lot of ads and such for Copilot PCs recently so thought it'd might be good to check one out finally. ASUS, Samsung and a host of other manufacturers have these however I went with the Dell just based off previous experience with them. SIZE: Really liking this 13" size. It's perfect for travel and functionality without giving up much of anything really....except screen size. WEIGHT: coming in at around 5 pounds or so, this is super lightweight by any laptop standards and carries easily. You'll have no problem throwing this in your bag/purse as it's thin, lightweight and very portable. The charger is also pretty small as well so no issues with toting that around either. FIT/FINISH: this is a really well put together laptop. The seams and construction of the laptop is really solid. The function keys are backlit and touch capacitive which looks really nice. The integrated touchpad looks really slick and functoins quite well. And the OLED screen is just gorgeous. Deep blacks and rich contrast from this display makes everything just pop that much more. YouTube or Netflix really comes through on this display. COPILOT: is actually quite interesting to use. From my experience, it's a bit more than just simple voice commands or questions. I tried it out by asking if the illuminated logo on my GPU can be changed? Pretty random question but it pulled back an actual answer, no...unfortunately, as well as posts and additional background info on my request. It further added to my inquiry by asking if I wanted to contact the manufacturer about this as well as local PC shops. I thought it was a bit much but, surprisingly, it answered my question and prompted me to continue the "conversation". Definitely will need some more playtime with this but, so far, it's actually been quite promising and useful.

A Powerful, AI-Enhanced Ultraportable pc
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this ultra light weight and power efficient pc.it’s super snappy. It has excellent build quality, ultra thin, sleek and durable. Its 3K FHD+ IPS OLED display offer vibrant colors and sharper images. The XPS 13 Copilot+ features a quad-speaker design with dual tweeters and dual woofers, powered by the Qualcomm® WSA8845 audio codec. Each speaker is rated at 2W, providing a total output of 8W. This setup delivers clear and rich audio, making it ideal for media consumption and video calls. I love both picture quality and super Audio experience on this device. Something’s to be aware of , this pc features a capacitive function row and an “invisible” touchpad, zero-lattice keyboard which some users might find less intuitive compared to traditional designs but I love it as very rarely I use function keys. It’s zero-lattice keyboard with large keycaps and minimal spacing between keys provides a unique typing experience that is both responsive and comfortable. The keys are backlit, making it easy to type in low-light conditions, and the keyboard includes a fingerprint reader for added security. Check http://worksonwoa.com/ crowdsourced GitHub link for compatibility of apps. Nordvpn has added native support today, davinci resolve couple of weeks back, mcafee one year subscription is free with purchase and it is natively supported, most/all Microsoft apps natively supported. Chrome/brave/edge have native support and many more.

Amazing laptop with on-board AI integration!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have always been a huge fan of Dell laptops. For decades they have delivered great quality machines at a fairly affordable price. This new line of laptops is no exception. They seem to have made a few changes in the look of their laptops with these machines. They are sleeker, smaller, and look more modern than what they usually put out. The keyboard on this laptop literally stretches the entire length. There are keys from edge to edge and no number pad. With that design they are able to make this machine as small, compact, and lightweight as possible. Even the packaging is now as minimalistic as possible. Out of the box the laptop looks and feels great. It has a completely aluminum shell. If you are someone who likes to hook up a lot of peripherals, you might be a little disappointed. There is literally one USB-C port on each side of the laptop, and that is it. Dell is going for the ultimate minimalist design with these laptops. As far as what is in the machine, it’s a very quick laptop for everyday use. It has a very solid Snapdragon X processor paired with 16GB of RAM which is more than enough for all your day-to-day tasks. There is only a 512GB SSD drive which is a little small. I would like to have seen at least 1TB, so that is something to keep in mind if you like to install a lot of programs or store a lot of files locally on your machine. Performance wise, I found this laptop to be very quick with things such as office programs, photo editing, watching streaming videos and most tasks you would use a laptop for. One caveat is that this is not a gaming laptop by any means. Any high end games will struggle on this machine. Little games like you would get in the Microsoft App store will work fine though. One big new selling point of these machines is the integration of AI. This has on-device AI built into it versus a cloud-based AI. This means that it will work a lot faster because it processes everything locally instead of having to go to the cloud to process tasks. It has the basic features like asking questions and getting answers, generating images from a description you give it and things like that. For example, I asked it to create a picture of a Boston Terrier sitting next to a waterfall and after a few seconds I had 4 different images of that. It worked great. There is really SO many different things you can do with copilot, it would take a long time to go through them all. The easiest way is to just experiment with it. I know you will be amazed! One other thing I love is real time language translation. I have a friend who speaks Spanish, and for fun I had home come over to try it. It worked amazingly well. He would just speak Spanish and the mic on the computer picked it up and translated in real time and displayed in English what he was saying on the screen. This is such an amazing feature! I really can’t wait to see what the future holds for Copilot, I know it is just scratching the surface right now. Having this integrated in such a small, lightweight, and portable laptop is a big bonus! Overall, I absolutely love this laptop, its another home-run for dell! I would like to see a larger hard drive and maybe a few more connection options on the side, but other than that, it’s a very solid machine!
