My husband and I absolutely love this machine. It is as close to a professional espresso you can get with an automatic machine and without all the mess. The milk frothing carafe does a great job and the grinder dial can be adjusted for optimal extraction results. We decided to purchase a second milk carafe so we can each have our own milk or non-dairy option. The only issue I've encountered is if you run low on water in the middle of making a drink, the machine does not start back where it left off once you refill the water bin. It's not a problem, just make sure you have enough water before hitting the start button. I love that you can adjust all pre-loaded drink recipes to your liking. I also found it extremely easy to create my own drink in the app and save it to the machine. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for an automatic espresso machine.

This is the best coffee machine that can be. Extremely tasty coffee is obtained, the aroma of brewed coffee lingers in the house for a long time. This coffee machine has many options for ready-made coffee, you can also create coffee to your taste. You can make simple coffee, Espresso, cappuccino and many other different coffees. There is also a function of just hot water or milk. The coffee maker turns on very quickly, is very easy to use. I have never regretted buying this coffee machine. It is very easy to wash. It is also very convenient that the coffee grinds the coffee beans itself and regulates the amount needed per cup, also with milk, added in the amount that is in the original recipe. I highly recommend this coffee maker❤️

I've been using the machine for a few weeks now so I feel like I have a decent understanding of its functionality, its kinks and its overall quality. Before purchasing the Delonghi I had been using a Jura One for over 8 years without any issues. The Jura is without a doubt the Mercedes/Lamborghini of the coffee/espresso machine world and makes some of the best coffee and espresso one can drink anywhere. When it finally stopped working I was tempted to buy another but after seeing the increased pricing on the units not to mention some reviews on deteriorating quality I decided to give the Delonghi a shot. Since owning it I've made many of the offered drinks using both oatmilk and whole milk. The machine makes great foam using whole milk though the oatmilk foam leaves alot to be desired. Making the drinks is quite simple especially when using the app which, since a recent update has been working much better then previous versions. As you can see in the posted photo the machine makes great pucks, nice and solid and when making a flat white using whole milk you can see from the other posted photo that there is plenty of solid foam and a good layer difference between the milk, coffee and foam. The only two improvements I'd like to see being implemented is hotter steamed milk and the ability to edited the drinks from the machine itself versus having to use the app. As of this review the only thing you can edit on the machine when customizing drinks is the coffee strength. All other changes or additions have to be done via the app. All in all I feel like the machine offers a lot of bang for your buck and so far has worked flawlessly.

We made a decision to invest in a coffee maker and this one is probably one of the best decisions we’ve made. We love having coffee and to have several options on what type of coffee we can make in just a few steps is so convenient and pleasurable. This coffee maker have tons of options on how you like your coffee and is probably one of the easiest to operate. If you’re like us who doesn’t want to do a lot of work when making the coffee, this is one of the best options out there. Though this product is great, there’s still some way the company can make it better. This coffee make can be connected to an app but the app takes a long time to connect to the coffee maker and the worst part is, it does this every time we open the app. So having the app so you can easily customize and make your coffee right away forfeits the purpose of having it. It is nice though to have the app because we can read some information about the coffee (like how much milk is in there and how strong the coffee is), the coffee is customizable once connected to the app and is actually really useful if you have all the time to wait to connect the coffee to the app everyday day or every time you want to use the app. The coffee maker also does rinsing every time it turns off or on, so unless you have it set to always on, that’s really the only way you can make coffee from the app or else, you’ll have the water from cleaning the coffee maker right into your coffee cup. But overall we love the convenience of this coffee maker and it’s just feels great to have a cup of coffee on demand without taking to much effort and time to enjoy it. It is expensive but I think for something we enjoy everyday, I think it’s worth the investment.

First time user of fully automatic machine, so I can't compare to others, but I'm very pleased with this purchase. This is daily driver to get quick and convenient cup of coffee in the morning before work. Friends and family enjoy espresso or latte/cappuchino drinks on weekends. Its so convenient that a few friends purchased this machine after seeing how easy it is to make a coffee. Milk foaming system is a bit tedios to clean after each use if you forget it attached. I wouldbe nice if there was some sort of refrigeration attachment, so milk could just sit there on the counter for couple days without spoiling. Purchased in Dec 2022 and its price definitely paid off, comparing to not so cheap gas station poison or higher priced coffee shops. Amount of time saved is very hard to calculate. It takes ~33 seconds to warm up and clense in the morning, after that its ready to make the drinks. 1m 15 sec to make a coffee (default setting) or 50 seconds to make default double espresso. It dumps about 2oz of water during start up / shut down procedures, so water needs to be refilled relatively frequently, even if you just make 1 espresso. I place a small cup/or container to catch dirty water instead of letting it go to drip container, this way it does not require watercleaned after few days of use, and rather once a month or so. Machine will tell you when water needs to be refilled, grounds container needs to be emptied(~10 cups), water filter to be replaced (~2mo) or descaling must be done (approx 1 every 6 month for my machine). What it will not tell you, is when you are low on beans. You will hear it when you run out and will have to stop the process or drink watered down coffee.

This was the best decision. I was concerned that it would be another machine that I couldn’t figure out how to use. But it literally does everything for you at the push of a button. It tells you exactly what you need to do, and makes a perfect cup every time, no matter if it’s a latte or a cappuccino or an espresso, or just the best cup of coffee you will have.

The machine is flawless in all different drink options. I’ve own other expresó machines and I could never keep a consistent recipe so this Delonghi Dinamica Plus is the best thing I have ever bought. I had some issues initially with the connectivity app but it has been resolved. Cannot express how happy my family is with this new addition to the kitchen.

De’Longhi’s new Dinamica Plus consolidates the entire drink-making process into a compact, fully automatic espresso machine that handles every step of the process on its own, from grinding espresso beans to frothing milk, taking the guesswork out of making 16 types of drinks and allowing you to customize individual recipes to your liking. After a week with this all-in-one coffee shop on my countertop, I came away extremely impressed...and thoroughly caffeinated. - Unboxing and Setup The Dinamica Plus is well-packaged with ample protection for the espresso machine and all its included accessories. The unit ships fully assembled with only a few small accessories to pop together, such as the LatteCrema thermal milk carafe, and a small box containing espresso bean samples and the instruction manual means you only need about 10 to 15 minutes to set up and brew your first drinks. While I would have liked to see a quick start guide, the machine’s 3.5” LCD display does provide step-by-step instructions when you power on for the first time. I still recommend following the instruction manual if you plan on using tap water for brewing, as an included water filter is not installed by default and the machine has settings to compensate for water hardness which are not mentioned on the machine’s quick setup instructions. Once the water tank is filled you’re ready to brew your first cups of espresso, and after swapping the hot water spout for the LatteCrema carafe you can begin brewing your first milk-based drinks. De’Longhi advises that after setup it will take about five cappuccinos for the machine to brew optimal drinks. I did notice a slight improvement in flavor by my third or fourth cappuccino, but I would not say it was particularly dramatic. - Brew Impressions I am absolutely floored by how fully-integrated the machine is and how simple it makes brewing coffee. Simply load whole coffee beans, water, and optionally milk in the thermal carafe (which can be stored in the refrigerator when not in use, negating the need to empty and clean it daily), and the machine takes care of the rest. Simply place your cup under the height-adjustable spout, pick a drink, and moments later your hot beverage of choice is ready to go. Even after brewing there is no espresso carafe to empty - all spent grounds are deposited in a removable plastic container behind the drip tray for quick and easy cleanup. I’m hard-pressed to think of any espresso machine I’ve seen or used previously that is as automated and easy to use - the Dinamica Plus may very well be the most tightly-integrated and convenient espresso machine available. Of course, convenience would be moot if beverage quality was anything less than great, and De’Longhi’s decades of experience in home espresso machines culminate in their top model to deliver exceptionally rich, smooth drinks at the press of a button. Using a local coffee roaster’s espresso beans with my Dinamica Plus and comparing against the offerings from their own highly-rated cafe, I honestly don’t believe I would be able to pick which drink was made in my kitchen in a blind taste test after I dialed in the grinder’s coarseness setting. No matter which drink I prepared, the machine consistently extracted robust flavor for all the espresso-based drinks available. There is a fill port to bypass the grinder and brew using externally-ground coffee for individual drinks as well - a handy option for the traditional coffee drinks the machine can brew, which also came out tasting great overall. The Dinamica Plus takes about 20 seconds from power-on to bring the heating element up to temperature, and prep times for most drinks is under a minute. The size and strength of each drink can be changed using the buttons on the front of the machine prior to selecting the beverage. I found the default size settings to be a bit too small for my taste, and in scaling up the size the machine seems to scale the strength appropriately. Adjusting the strength dramatically alters the coffee profile - even going from the default 3/5 to 4/5 strength the espresso flavor nearly overpowers its cappuccinos. While some premium espresso machines feature built-in milk frothers, the Dinamica Plus goes a step further by integrating De’Longhi’s unique LatteCrema system, which itself is an automatic milk frother with three intensity settings appropriate for the full range of cafe drinks on tap. The process is as simple as can be - simply pull out the hot water spout and plug in the carafe with frother. The display will indicate which frother setting is appropriate for the drink being brewed, which is the only manual setting to set on the machine. After a short delay the machine takes over and creates the drink in just a few moments. De’Longhi recommends skim or partially-skimmed (e.g. 2%) milk for best results, and I found partially skimmed delivered the best frothed milk on every drink I tried - a perfect balance of richness and creaminess. The bean container at the rear of the machine can hold about half a pound of espresso beans at a time, and the hopper does a good job of avoiding jams (though I did need to stir the beans to reset a “fill bean container” notice at one point during my week of testing). Inside the bean container a manual dial adjusts the built-in Burr grinder’s coarseness setting with 15 levels of fineness. The machine can detect when the grounds are too fine to make a quality espresso, and while I didn’t run into this even when using the finest setting, I settled on the third-finest option to avoid the issue in the long run. - Tech & Customization With a 3.5” LCD touch screen providing simple instructions and selections for brewing beverages, the Dinamica Plus takes all the guesswork out of making premium espresso drinks. You do not need to intervene at any point during the brewing or frothing process unless an error occurs, such as the espresso grounds being too fine. The level of automation here rivals commercial coffee machines you see on corporate campuses, only really needing attention to top up the water tank and milk carafe every couple days. Noise is overall well-controlled - the machine never gets particularly loud when brewing, with the loudest noises coming from the milk frother as is to be expected with a steam system. To further the tech-connected experience, the available De’Longhi “Coffee Link” app (tested here on an Android 11 flagship phone) is touted as a major feature. Indeed, the bluetooth-connected Dinamica Plus allows more customization of the espresso machine than the buttons on the device, including profile names, coffee strength and size stored on a per-drink basis, and the ability to edit existing drinks or create entirely new ones to save and brew anytime. Drinks can be remotely brewed with the push of a button in the app, and any requirements or messages the espresso machine throws will be shown on with brewing paused until you allow it to continue. I genuinely appreciate the choice to use bluetooth here instead of WiFi as this makes the machine much less likely to be compromised as another vulnerable Internet of Things (IoT) device. - Maintenance & Build Quality The Dinamica Plus is largely a self-cleaning machine. At power-on and power-off, hot water will flow from the main coffee spout to clean and empty any loose residue within the machine, and after each use of the milk frother the machine will ask to set the dial to the “Clean” position where hot steam will flow through the frother to cleanse it. The drip tray will catch most of these for emptying later, though I found keeping a mug handy worked best as the tray is a bit long and unwieldy to handle. Most of the assemblies of the Dinamica Plus are easy to remove and clean, especially those that will be used the most frequently. The water tank, grounds container, drip tray, hot water spout, milk carafe, and LatteCrema system all remove without tools and are easy to empty, rinse, or clean with warm water and a mild soap. Cleaning the Burr grinder and machine internals will require a little more disassembly of course, but these do not require frequent cleaning or emptying like the easily-removable parts do. At about 25 pounds, the machine feels solidly built and tolerances within the individual component assemblies are tight. Everything fits securely with little effort required to slot, though I worry the hot water spigot will loosen and leak over time as this requires a bit more effort to remove than I would like. My only real complaint otherwise is that the coating used for the chrome drip tray is extremely susceptible to scratching - by my third drink I had already scratched and marred the tray from the all-glass mug I was using by simply sliding it to a better position. - Bottom Line Sitting confidently near the top of the home espresso machine stack, the De’Longhi Dinamica Plus Fully Automatic Espresso Machine is a stunner, delivering consistently high-quality, freshly brewed espresso drinks at the literal press of a button. Rapid brewing, automated frothing, fully customizable drinks, and simple maintenance all contribute to a luxurious espresso machine experience that can’t be beaten, all while taking up so little counter space it’s hard to imagine a kitchen where this won’t fit. I usually include a value proposition in my reviews, but seeing as espresso machines are luxury items and I’m hard-pressed to find any faults with the machine that aren’t cosmetic, the Dinamica Plus comes highly recommended!

Any coffee lover is going to love this machine. I love this machine. The craftsmanship, the technology, and the end result when that espresso or cappuccino or coffee is brewed is phenomenal. This machine screams convenience. I can control it from the app and I can brew 16 different combination of drinks straight from my phone. The customization options makes it feel as if I have a live in barista at my residence. On top of that, everyone in my household has their own profile set up with the preferred drinks programed. It does take a little bit of tinkering with the machine to get your drinks set up just the way you like them. You can choose the hardness of the water, the way the foam comes out, how it grinds the beans, and temperature of the water as well. This took me about 30 minutes to set up just right but it was well worth it when the espresso delivered was perfect to my personal taste. Aside from the perfect drink that is delivered, the machine itself has a great look. It's stainless steel look blends into the kitchen and the machine is narrow. It doesn't take up a lot of space on the countertop. One of my favorite features is the built in grinder. I just pore the beans where they need to go, click a button to make my drink choice, and I have exactly what I ordered in a few seconds. You can even add extra espresso shots while the drink if being made by clicking on the screen. When you're using the app you can see the progress of the drink being made and you can see the stage that it's in. Another favorite of mine is the milk container that can be detached and placed in the fridge. I always add too much milk to my cappuccino and this machine has the formula down to deliver just the right amount when needed. This machine does require maintenance to be at it's tip top performance but it's listed as about every 3 months to replace the filters and do some cleaning. Not much user interference is needed except during the set up making this one really convenient machine to be used at all hours of the day. Overall, I do not have one negative thing to say. DeLonghi put out a great product and now no one in my family will be buying coffee on the go. Perfetto!
