It worked right away and without any problems. I was a little worried that it would not work since it is not a dell branded charger but that was not an issue. I like the long cord and the Velcro strap to help keep the cord neat when not using it or traveling. Overall this is a good charger and at a better price than one from dell.

Rated for quality and value because the item didn't look defective and the price was good.
