I love these speakers . The HEOS app is a superb ecosystem that integrates devices effortlessly. I have the Sonos and Bose systems in my home and they each bring their unique features with them. While they were on clearance, I started out with purchasing one speaker to see how much I'd like the sound at home. Well, I went back and prchased 3 more. The sound is amazingly crisp and strong. I have all of them paired and 2 of them paired as stereo so the app controls it as 3 speakers and they work seemlessly together via the Heos app. I give it Four stars because the bass begins to drop off around 80% volume, which I believe is due to the type of magnet used. Regardless, I would buy more if I could.

The black Denon Home 150 is a good-looking speaker. The fabric around the speaker is of terrific quality. The base, top edge, and back panel are made of strong plastic, and the top panel is covered by glass and can be a fingerprint magnet, so keeping a wiping cloth around is recommended. It is rather small, making it a good fit for night tables and countertops. The top features some controls that cannot be seen until you hover your hand above and they light up, which is a cool effect. There’s also a subtle status LED at the very bottom. I would say it’s a rather classy design. As far as connectivity, there are several options available. You can connect the speaker via Bluetooth, WiFi, Ethernet, USB-A port, and through a 3.5mm auxiliary port. While you could use the 150 by itself through AUX, USB port, or Bluetooth, in order to get the best experience, the HEOS app must be downloaded to your phone or tablet (Android or iOS). The app is basically the command center for using all the speaker’s features. Setting it up does involve a series of steps, which are somewhat well explained through the app. The clean-looking HEOS app is rather useful and allows for operating more than one Denon device separately or at the same time as well as getting firmware updates. It also provides a portal to connect to the most popular streaming channels such as Amazon HD, Pandora, Spotify, Tidal, and many more. Interestingly, you must create a HESOS account in order to make use of it, which I found odd, but not a big deal. Now, these speakers get surprisingly loud. The device has a dynamic 1” tweeter and a 3.5 mid-bass driver, which were more than enough to fill a room-sized dance studio at about 50%-60% volume. Out of the box and listening to Amazon Ultra-HD content (192kHz/24bit), the sound is full, dynamic, and rather pleasant. This is quite an accomplishment since the speaker only produces mono sound (you’d need two speakers to create stereo). The bass is rich, impactful, and has sub-bass that can be felt. For all that bass, I was happy to find that the midrange was not recessed, as vocals and instruments were clearly depicted. The treble was distinct and provided more clarity. However, at higher volumes -above 70%, I did experience some distortion on the low end and some significant sibilance, which implies that this may not be best for full 100% blasting at a dance party. This became even more apparent when playing lower-res content. Thankfully, the HEOS app features a much-needed EQ which helps quite a bit. Since I am using two Home 150s, I tried the stereo feature in my home entertainment, and it worked wonderfully. The channel separation brought an impressive level of imaging and soundstage to music and video, especially action-oriented flicks. It’s fascinating how much bass can be felt without a sub-woofer. To be honest, I’m not sure this would take the place of a good home theater sound system, considering the price of two speakers, and I still believe the 150’s work best for multi-room setups. My main complaint is that the Home 150 does not have a native Voice Assistance functionality. In order to use it with Amazon Echo, Google Assistant, or Siri, one must set it up through the HEOS app, which requires further steps. Although I am comfortable with these types of processes, I can imagine someone who is not used to technology integration and wants things to just work becoming a bit frustrated. While the speaker played whatever I wanted by asking Alexa through my phone or my echo devices, I felt a little bit disappointed. Another rather small complaint is that the top controls don’t allow for skipping tracks. I feel sometimes as if the Home 150 is just a slightly better shelf speaker. In the end, if you want a hassle-free voice-controlled “smart” speaker, this is not for you. However, I think the Home 150 is a respectable offering from Denon. It produces surprisingly good HD-quality sound, looks classy, has a ton of connectivity options, and can be placed anywhere. If you don’t mind pulling out your phone at all times to control it, or through a secondary Assistant device, then this is certainly a decent purchase -especially if you are already part of the Denon ecosystem.

THE BREAKDOWN: The Denon Home 150 is a great wireless speaker. It measures 7.4 inches (height), 4.7 inches (width), 4.7 inches (depth) and weighs around 3.8 pounds. It is rectangular in shape and is surrounded by a grey cloth grill. The top of the speaker has a touch panel that is hidden until you touch it. There are play and pause buttons, plus and minus volume buttons. There are also numbers on the top 1 through 3 that are quick selection buttons you can assign. Under the hood there is a 1-inch tweeter, one 3.5-inch woofer and dual amps. This speaker has the capability of playing high-resolution audio files to include, FLAC, WAV, ALAC, DSD2.8/5.6MHZ USB or streaming. On the back of the speaker there is a USB pairing button, Ethernet port, USB-A, 3.5mm aux port and power cable. There is also a threaded insert to be able to mount the speaker. There is an app called HEOS for both Android and iOS. I used the iOS app personally. The app was simple and easy to use and it walks you through setting up your speaker. The app also has a lot streaming services available such as, Pandora, Spotify, TuneIn, Amazon Music, Deezer, Napster, iHeartRADIO, SirusiXM, SOUNDCLOUD, TIDAL, and Rhapsody. Just a note you must have active accounts to use those accounts. I personally used the Bluetooth connection instead of the app as I found it much easier to use. The Home 150 does support 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi and is AirPlay2 compatible. The speaker currently does not work with Amazon Alexa, at least in my testing it did not. The sound for me was amazing. I thought the bass and highs were clear and crisp, even at high levels. I was not able to test the multi-room feature but the stand-alone single speaker was excellent. I have other completely wireless Bluetooth speakers that cost a portion of this price that could hang with the audio of this device. PRO’s: -Crisp highs and great lows -Stream high resolution audio -3 quick select buttons -USB support -2.4GHz and 5GHz network capable CON’s: -Expensive -Alexa not actively working yet SUMMARY: Overall, this product worked well and as intended, and I would recommend this to a friend if they are in the market for device like this.

High Fidelity Sound in a Small Form Factor

This Denon wireless speaker is replacing my old google home wireless speaker. I used to think my Google speaker sounded pretty good for it's size. To me, this Denon speaker sounds at least ten times better. This is one of those products that's a no brainer for me to blindly recommend to anyone. If you just want a small versatile indoor speaker that produces high end level audio, give this a try. I don't think that I've ever been this impressed with any wireless speaker. As mentioned previously, the sound is incredible for it's size. This is one of those speakers that you don't need to turn up the volume high for it to sound good. Even at low volume, the sound produced is pristine. The sound is full and rich with very crisp vocals and very impressive lows. What's most impressive is how the low frequency is tight and punchy but it never drowns out the mids and highs. I played a lot of classical, reggae, pop, techno, hip hop, and metal. I couldn't find a single genre that resulted in this Denon speaker rendering a poor sound signature. The build quality is very impressive. The controls on the top of the speaker are touch sensitive but also "proximity sensitive". They activate when your hand is near the speaker. The speaker comes with a very modern and high quality feel non-removable grill cover. The bottom and top panels of the speaker are made of a high quality plastic. You can tell it's a high quality speaker by just picking it up. It's heavy for it's size which means they used top notch internals. Back in the day, working in the audio industry, this is how you could tell a good receiver from a better receiver. Pick it up and see how heavy it is! Setup was incredibly easy. By far the easiest wireless device that I've paired in the last...year...2 years? 3? It's been a while since I've had a product where I just download the app, make sure bluetooth is enabled on my phone and that I'm connected to my home Wi-Fi, and that's it. The Denon HEOS app just finds the product, pushes the latest update to it, and allows you to control everything from the app. I certainly didn't have to use the HEOS app to play back audio sources from my phone via bluetooth, but I liked that I could access my spotify playlists and also my SiriusXM profile directly from it. If you dont care about any of those things just make sure to open the app once in a while to see if there is a new firmware update for your Denon 150 wireless speaker. Also, thank you Denon for including a physical LAN port on this device! Great if you have spotty Wi-FI issues and want the most interrupted music experience possible! Although this wireless speaker is probably one of the pricier options out there, it's sound reproduction lives up to the price. If you're looking for great sound to come from a nightstand in your bedroom, a coffee or end table in your living room, this is easily the one to get.

Right off the bat, I'd like you to know this has the typical sound quality you'd expect from a name like Denon. Amazing sound. Nothing can come close to the sound quality of something like Denon. These speakers look as great as they sound. They are also very well built - and are not lightweight. These things are solid, solid like a rock! I can tell you so many times today you expect something to weight alot and then it doesn't, it is kind of a letdown. These do not disappoint. There are lots of options for these for connectivity AND for ease of playing. You can connect via WIFI, wired network, bluetooth, airplay 2, USB, or Aux cable. Then you can use the HEOS app (free) to auto login to your music services to play music more easily. I can tell you that there is much more that this can do then even I was able to get around to, like Alexa. What I will tell you is that between WIFI and bluetooth, there is nothing more that I need. I was so happy to also use Airplay 2 to send audio from Youtube over to the speakers. Besides the sound quality, the next biggest thing I would tell you about these is that you can play them in different rooms, and play different things in different rooms, OR you can use these as a stereo speaker set. I really like the stereo speaker set option. Why? Today we often use a single speaker to play music but I'll be honest, I feel like I need to hear things in stereo. This makes this need of mine be completely fulfilled. If I don't hear things in stereo I feel like I'm losing my hearing and that makes me feel like I'm getting old or something. So, without a doubt, these are a favorite of mine and the HEOS software brings this whole thing together very well. I've shown a couple of pics below how you can play on different speakers or put the speakers together and play the same thing on the different speakers. If you want a nice way to go for sound quality, a piece of hardware that is as solid as a rock, with lots of connectivity options, and a decent app that has software to bring this all together and make this a real success, read no more and get this/these. I have two of them now and will be getting at least two more. If you love music, you owe it to yourself to try these. Best Buy has a generous return policy and will make you feel confident that if they aren't for you, you can return them without any hassles.

The Denon Home 150 is a fantastic speaker that can push out some big sound with its compact form. The speaker has been a fantastic addition to my home and doesn’t take up much space on either a desk or shelf. I have been thoroughly impressed by its ability to play music clearly and crisply at any volume, and even at full volume. The HEOS app on my iPhone works well and allows for a simple interface with many various music services like Pandora, Spotify, Amazon Music HD, Tidal, etc. I have been extremely impressed with Amazon Music HD and it’s ability to sound concert like on so many songs that I feel like the music is coming from a larger stereo setup. The Denon Home 150 has a modern look and style to it that makes it stand apart from other similar type speakers. There aren’t any physical buttons present on here. Instead the buttons are touch buttons that light up when your hand approaches or hovers near the top of the speaker. When lit up you see a play/pause, volume up and down buttons. Also you see a row of 1,2,3 buttons and these can be programmed to your favorite selections of music, or artist from your preferred music service. The nice thing about this feature is that your phone does not need to be used to do this. The HEOS app will connect to your 2.4g or 5g home wifi and always be able to play music without a phone present. Certainly you can always pair your phone with Bluetooth, Apple AirPlay 2, and also via an AUX line as well. Phenomenal sound from a compact form. I will recommend this speaker and will guess that you’ll also enjoy it as much as I have been in my home.

I have used plenty of smart speakers in my lifetime but this one takes the cake in terms of app compatibility and user friendliness. The sound is booming too, so no concerns there. The compatibility of this app is hand down the best ive seen so far. After pairing to your speaker you are prompted with multiple, not one or 2, but more like a dozen plus options of hi-res music streaming options. All of the big names included. From there you can easily add and sync additional speakers which is a breeze, super easy to do. Secondly, the design and user friendliness is outstanding too. The speaker senses when your had is close the the face and lights up the pre-set buttons on top. You can control volume via the app or physically on the unit. Its very evident that the design was well thought out. All in all i would highly recommend this speaker to anyone who is in the market for a similar device due to its wide array of compatible hi res streaming services and its potential multi-room capabilities. Well worth picking up.

Unboxing & Set Up – on unboxing the Denon Home 150 the first thing I noticed was that it’s more substantial than other wireless speakers I’ve purchased. It’s a very modern and minimalistic design with the cool preset quick select buttons on the top of the unit. In the box is the speaker, power cord and quick start guide. It’s pretty straight forward, download the HEOS app, plug in and power up the unit and configure the speaker. There was a software update that ran and then the 150 was ready to use. I used my Sirius XM account to stream directly through the speaker as well as through the HEOS app. All in it took about 10 minutes to unbox and setup. Performance – I don’t consider myself an audiophile, but you don’t need to be to hear the quality of this speaker. Right out of the box the depth of the music is evident, but with the HEOS app, sound settings can be adjusted depending on where the speaker is placed in the room and there’s an EQ adjustment for bass and treble settings. As the 150 packs a 1” tweeter and a 3 ½” woofer into a ported enclosure the sound is like no other wireless/BT speaker of its size. I use a Home 350 in our living room which is 14” x 24” space with vaulted ceilings and this speaker fills the room with no problems. This Home 150 is paired to the 350 in a small office off the living room. With this connected setup, the Denon speakers fill the entire area with music of my choice. What’s great about this Denon system and the HEOS app is multiple Denon speakers can be run in different rooms to create whole-home music or mixing up with different music in each room…all from the app. HEOS App – I’ve used a few different apps and the HEOS app is right up there with the best available. The app provides total control and setup of the speakers and the music services of choice. The speaker can be connected directly through, say Sirius, via AirPlay 2 or BT, but it was convenient to have multiple streaming services under one app. As mentioned previously, the HEOS app also provides a number of controls to adjust the sound and functions on the speaker like the 3 preset quick select buttons and the length and brightness of the control light. Very cool and easy to use. When pairing multiple speakers, it’s as easy as dragging and dropping to create a group or ungroup. Pros: - Sound quality, sound quality, sound quality…enough said! - Ability to connect multiple Denon speakers in a room or across your home, office, etc. - Multiple programmable pre-set buttons on the speaker, no phone needed to play music - Great build quality and modern, minimalistic design including touch panel on top of unit - HEOS App – provides great controls for single or multiple speakers, adjusting sound, etc. Cons: - HEOS App – (yes a pro & a con) is not super intuitive or user friendly, but seems to be getting better with each update. You need to muddle around to find what you need. All-in-all the Denon Home 150 is an amazing sounding and well-designed and built wireless speaker that should be considered for anyone looking for high-end music output and easy wireless use. You will not be disappointed with the Denon Home 150!

From one of the most well know and reliable names in the audio business comes the new Denon Home 150 wireless speaker. I have been a fan of anything Denon over the past several decades and for good reason; every audio device I have ever owned from Denon, whether it be a receiver, amplifier, etc. is very well made and the sound they have been able to create over 100 years of experience still stands true with the new Home 150 wireless speaker. Considering this is the smallest speaker in their line of wireless smart speakers, I was amazed by the power and sound just one sounds in a large room. Now with the option to sync multiple speakers throughout your house, business, etc. opens so many opportunities for audiophiles like myself and puts the Denon home wireless line near the front of the line as many other companies who have had the edge on this market for years. Right out of the box and before I even plugged the speaker in, I could really see and feel the craftsmanship from the weight and materials they used to put this speaker together. The instructions for setting it up were fairly simple and similar to most other devices in this generation. After you plug in the speaker, you download the HEOS application on your smart device and, after logging in or creating an account, it will automatically recognize the speaker and sync it with your account along with your other Denon, Marantz, Definitive Technology, or other devices such as addition speakers and receivers with the HEOS technology/logo. The app provided an easy walkthrough during set up. After the speaker and/or other devices are synced on your account, you can add any music services you subscribe to stream to the speaker including Pandora, Spotify, Amazon Music, Deezer, Napster, iHeart Radio, Sirius XM, etc. The speaker also has options on the rear for an auxiliary input, USB input for digital audio, Bluetooth sync button, mounting screw hole and an ethernet input if you opt for a wired internet connection instead of Wi-Fi. Unfortunately, at this time, the smart speaker support has not been set up yet therefore I was unable to test those capabilities until the application receives a software update. The entire set up process including downloading the app, creating an account, and logging in to sync all my music streaming services took about 30 minutes. Now for my favorite part, the sound. Initially I tried to use the speaker with the voice assistant however that is when I realized the software update has not been provided yet which is mentioned on a disclaimer on the side of the packaging. Therefore, I opted to stream music directly through a third-party service offered on the smart phone HEOS app. Saying I was surprised at the sound from the speaker would be an understatement, and this was even without adjusting the highs and lows. If you are familiar with the brand, it is what anyone would expect from a Denon product. The overall sound was incredible, better than most other devices I have used in the recent past. One of the distinct features of all Denon products I have owned in the past is their ability to provide ample power for low end bass while not overpowering or distorting the highs. I planted this speaker in a discreet area in the corner of our master bedroom to not distract from how my wife decorated which she was happy with and was only able to turn this speaker up to about 75% before it was so overpowering that we could hear it clearly on the other floor on the other side of our 3600 square foot house. Keep in mind, this was just with one speaker. Pairing it with additional HEOS compatible speakers/devices throughout that large of a space should amaze anyone who is into music as much as us and I can only imagine what the larger, more expensive, speakers in this line sound like. Not only do you have availability to change the streaming service through the smart device app, you can also set up to three presets on the top of the speaker itself as well as control the volume and play/pause and I can’t wait until voice assistance is added at a later date. Overall, I’m very impressed with this speaker considering it’s the lowest model in this lineup and would recommend it to anyone in the market for a wireless smart speaker that loves crisp, loud sound.

Smart speakers are a big deal nowadays, not only do you want something that delivers big sound, but you want it to be compatible with your smart voice enabled environment. The Denon Home 150 is an amazingly compact and wonderful sounding smart speaker at a great pricepoint. The Denon Home 150 is an entry smart speaker you can buy in the smart speaker market and it does NOT disappoint. Not only is it small, compact, and full of promise, the top stickers give you an idea of the multiple compatibility options supported including BT, favorite stations, and sources at up to 6 presets that are programmable. As I mentioned I was extremely impressed with how fast and easy it was to pair and activate this speaker. I just downloaded the HEOS software, hit discover, allowed bluetooth and within a minute the device was paired and online. There were 2 additional downloads and updates that needed to finish but they gave the option to complete later. Updates took a bit longer than the 350 and I had at least 1 update that failed but it wasn't a deal breaker or brick the unit. Overall I was extremely impressed with the sound of the 150 despite its size. It is a tiny speaker so it gives you great sound well suited for smaller rooms or to supplementa a larger room. The HEOS software does a great job of allowing you to group multiple speakers together to give you multiple room coverage. The HEOS app also supports an extremely high number of music services, however, if you want to cast to speakers of multiple different makes or Apple Music, you can use Airplay 2 and cast to multiple speakers from different vendors which is amazing. Overall these are great speakers, the only downside I found was they do not have actual sound adjustment capabilities that I have seen, but the native HEOS app integration as well as the Alexa app integration are great. They don't support cross-vendor multi speaker support across different rooms but we will see if that resolves itself over time. The number of music services it supports is impressive but again, no Apple Music native support. Can be worked around via AirPlay 2. Overall great looking and sounding speakers!!!

This speaker has so much with-in it's small package. Inside the box, is simply the Denon 150 speaker( black or white), a power cord and quick start guide. I used the HEOS app from the Android Play Store, to sync up and get the speaker all updated. After that, I set up a couple accounts ( Amazon Music/ Spotify, etc.) It only takes a few minutes to get the room jumping. Just as the title states, this little speaker has so much range. The lows are felt and the highs are heard. A crisp thumping sound flows out into your room and and just engulfs your spirit. I was amazed at the noise coming from this speaker. There are a couple music apps I would've preferred to be added to the list of choices ( Youtube Music, for one. But that's where the bluetooth feature comes into play. Just sync the you device of choice and you're jamming whatever playlist you desire. It's Wifi compatible, but you can also connect an ethernet cable if you, for some reason, don't have the password. It's also surprisingly heavy for it's size. I like that. It feels very well built. The design is basic, but that's also a plus in my book. There are other speakers in the Denon line-up, that can be placed throughout your home for true stereo sound. Honestly, as cool as that is, it's not super necessary in smaller homes. The other speakers are larger (meaning they're packing much more thump), so larger homes will definitely benefit from that. Outside of the music apps selection being limited, I can't see any reason why this isn't an easy buy. My friends are stunned by the sound as well, so I may have already sold a couple. Lol.

I now own and use ten of Denon's HEOS/Home series of wireless speakers. The newest versions are these Home 150 models and they are by far the easiest to set up and use. They also have "buttons" on the top panel that makes it easy to have up to three presets assigned. So far I haven't the need but when I do it looks to be quite easy to do so. These 150s can be used individually or as a stereo pair. It is also now possible to assign different models in the Home series (i.e., 150, 250 and 350) as stereo pairs. And it is EASY! Denon's Application is very easy to use. I have it on iPhones, Android phones, iPads and an Amazon Tablet and it works superbly across those devices. My HEOS system allows me to play music from my Pandora, SiriusXM and Amazon Music UHD accounts with ease and I can send that music to my speakers or different services to different speakers. I can even wireless send my CD players music (a new Onkyo 6 disc player I bought here at BB!) or even my records! Yup! I can send the output of my turntable to any speaker or speakers in our home, wirelessly. Denon's Home 150 speakers and their HEOS system is without a doubt the best I have experienced. I have given Denon and HEOS/Home 150s to my older brother and his wonderful wife. It really is easy and the sound is superb! And unlike some companies, to date all of Denon's HEOS speakers are backward COMPATIBLE for use with the newer Home series of speakers. Denon is my choice in home entertainment! As a long time home theater dealer of high-end home audio electronics, I’ve long admired the Denon Electronics and Marantz brands for their feature sets, continuously pushing the envelope of cutting edge technology, as well as their sonic warmth and smoothness compared to other brands too shrill and sterile for my tastes. As a stand-alone sound system this Home 150 (solo) provides super easy access to multiple streaming music sources, with or without using the mobile app. Where this product truly shines in my humble opinion is integrated as a whole house audio system. This can be accomplished multiple ways. First by simply adding Denon speakers and HEOS devices wherever audio is desired. They can play independence streaming sources, left right channels as a stereo pair, or synchronize with whole house HEOS. Another is utilizing a Denon/Marantz home AVR audio video receiver with HEOS built-in. This adds another benefit of being able to use other audio sources from a living room or theater like TV, movies, talk shows. Etc. Our living room system is a mid-level Denon AVR-4400H AVR (2017) feeding a Control 4 distribution amp to power deck speakers, additional basement room, and living room 5.2.4 system. This Home 150 let’s is add another indoor/outdoor/garage zone wirelessly wherever there is power. Incredibly Versatile. I also found usage augmenting a modest pair of Klipsch 6.5 deck speakers, entirely eliminating the mud adding clarity to vocals and mid-range. Side note: While the kids seemingly prefer selecting a specific song or set playlist to match their mood, or massive whole library shuffle, I consider myself an old school lean, much preferring the provider to curate like-songs together. This allows greater variety and long forgotten songs to find my ears not manually added to my library. While HEOS offers many sources, I find myself listening to Sirius XM satellite radio far more often than anything else. In fact, traditional DJs, sans advertising, adding factoids and insight every other song block really adds to the listening experience imho. Beware, Denon 150 / 350 Home speakers will add dimension and usability all around your house. More music, everywhere, … that’s a very good thing! PROS + ease of usability + diverse feature set + acoustic self-calibration + well thought out solid design + sufficiently lengthy power cable + surprising bass extension for small spk + HEOS is absolutely the true shining star + independent streams or multi-zone + variety of sources including >>> Amazon Prime Music HD >>> Apple Music AirPlay 2 >>> Bluetooth >>> Deezer >>> Pandora >>> Spotify >>> Tune-in >>> TIDAL (subscription) >>> XM Sirius Satellite (subscription) >>> USB audio (FLAC, HQ VBR, high-bitrate MP3) >>> many more + can play individual sources, or drag to zone + variable volumes for each audio zone + phone-free usage, with touch buttons + proximity sensor illuminates touch display + boundary compensation in -app device setup CONS -I’m unable to find anywhere this product falls short -if challenged individual pricing skews high comparably -maybe a truly wireless battery-powered version? -now I want stereo 150s and a pair of 350s too CONCLUSION If you enjoy audio, and benefit from portability, (or even set it and forget it) in various rooms, there’s no easier way to whole-house audio than adding these speakers. No sheetrock dust, attic insulation, complicated control schemes to deal with; truly plug-n-play, and voila, whole-house audio. Recommend Strong Buy 5-star

I’m an Apple guy, so whenever I see something that says AirPlay, I’m pretty much going to get it. This speaker to put it mildly is pretty awesome. To look at the size of this speaker and then to listen to it, I wouldn’t have believed it. The quality is amazing with no discernible distortion at the audio level I played it at and it has some pretty good low end for a speaker of this size. Incredible to say the least. I had some trouble setting it up with my iPhone, but I reached out to their customer service and after a few back and forth emails, my problem was resolved. If you are setting this up with an iPhone, you have to make sure you allow “local network” when going through the app. A simple fix and then I was up and running. Kudos to their customer support who responded within 30 minutes. I was expecting several days before I received a response so I was more than satisfied with the service. Unlike most apps that are really only beneficial during setup, updates and adjusting a few settings, this one is very useful. You can program three of your favorite radio stations to the buttons on the top of the speaker, which is a great feature if you have multiple users. Although I only have one speaker (at least for now), if you have multiples you can play a different source on each speaker. My speaker is setup in my office, but if I had one in another part of the house, that speaker could play something completely different. This is great when my wife wants to listen to podcasts in the kitchen and I’m in baby’s room trying to put him to sleep lullabies. I tried playing a movie on Netflix using the speaker and I noticed there was a slight delay. I saw in the manual some troubleshooting tips to correct this, but since this is going to be used primary for music, I didn’t try to correct it. If you have a hi definition audio subscription such as Tidal or Amazon HD music, you will truly appreciate the quality of this speaker. The sound was amazing while playing Amazon and even better on Tidal. I also played some Pandora and Apple Music tracks and it still produced great audio. I literally have no complaints about the quality of this speaker and I will definitely be adding at least one or two more to my collection. The only thing The OCD in me noticed, was on one of the setup screens, the word “please” was misspelled. You can see it in the screen shot that I took. Pretty minor as it doesn’t affect anything but just something I noticed. All in all this a great little speaker and I don’t think you can go wrong with it.

It's important to judge this product by its price point. With that in mind, I am very happy with the sound. the magnificent and harmonious set of a wonderful audio. Its pure and crystalline sound with the most current standards is part of Music DNA. The HEOS App for IOS is perfect for all its functions. Product capability with Alexa are very poor only drawback. Being able to have the same ambience throughout the house is very cool function.

Works well with my other HEOS speakers. Good sound. A little pricey and I wish they had a battery powered option so that can use them outside without a long extension cord.

This speaker has an excellent connectivity and sound. I realized that better when I compared with other good sound system that I have. Said that, getting a pair of this would be the best scenario. It sounds better when paired with another one.
