I like that the buttons light up when its moved (helps at night). Alexas feature is pretty awesome. Smaller as well. My only issues are that there is no page up/down and I cant get it to work with "find my remote" on the receiver. But other than that, its a big step up from the regular dish remotes.

This has been a great replacement remote, all the bells and whistles you would need.

Works well, but durability may be an issue

It's not as intuitive as the TiVo remote we used to use, but ... that works only with TiVo. My only complaint is that we had to buy another one. The first one lasted a couple of years, then stopped working with the DVR, but only some of the time. You would suspect weak batteries, but that's when I found out that the slider that opens the battery compartment is small and fragile, and wouldn't completely disengage so I could open the back. After prying it open a couple of times to try new batteries, which didn't fix the problem reliably, we ordered the replacement.

Great remote for DISH subscribers!

Already had one of these and bought the remote to upgrade another DISH older model remote. Since we subscribe to DISH, I am unaware of how it may work with other devices not connected with DISH.

Now my wife has a remote for herself and we don't have to share. Once the newer remote is activated the old original unit doesn't work.

Would have given a 5 star review if it wasn't for that issue! Will probably have to bring it in for an exchange
