I purchased this camera because I read the reviews for it already, and they were all great. I just got the camera today and I like it, but I don't love it. The video quality is great, the picture quality is great, but the sound quality is sub-par. Unless you're right in front of or next to the camera, the audio will barely pick you up. If you like great sound quality in your camcorders, this may not be for you. If you can handle a little bad sound but good picture quality then it's just for you. It's still good for the price.

This camera is flawless!(other than the zoom). I can't put it down. It's easy to use, offordable, has good battery power, takes very good pictures, and is perfect for making movies, home videos, OR short clips. It does well in dimmed enviorments, and has creative effetcs such as: black and white, serpia, ect. It can easily put on computer and copied to disks for watch on HDTV. I recommend it to ANYONE..This camcorder beats any other HD/Memory Card camcorder. Rock on!

Yes, as you can see, the pros are greatly more significant than the cons (or shall I say, con), but the con is actually a big deal. If you want to record right away when you get this camera, buy an SD card while you're purchasing it. But if you get that, nothing about this camera is worth complaining about. It's small enough to fit in my pocket! Oh, and something I was happy about is how you can change it from HD to a lower setting (HD with a slight decrease in quality, and no "black bars") and the capability of a 1G SD card goes from 32:00 free space to 3:00:00. This is the perfect thing to do if you're going on a family vacation and you want more tape.

I think if you have a budget for a video camcorder, or a digital camera, this a good choice. I've taken some of the best pictures i've ever seen with this camcorder. Especially with the macro focus pictures up to 6 inches away look amazing. This doesn't have many uses besides for bugs and flowers tho. The only bad thing about it is the sound quality. when u move the camera you can hear the parts moving around but other than that, it is small and compact and performs well and has a decent battery life.

this camera compares with HD cameras worth over $1,000! it is a fantastic deal with the price of only $149.99. I would recommend this to any video lover! i love this camcorder, it is the best on the internet!

Great for the price, extremely compact and satisfactory quality. However, the sound is very disappointing and the zoom is worthless. The sound pick up while recording video is very poor even if you are right next to the person whom you are recording. The zoom is more akin to some disposable camera feature.

I purchased this for a birthday party and I am shocked at the quality of the pictures for the price. They do not carry this product locally and so order fast before they are gone.

Don't buy this camera! It might sound to good to be true for the price and it is! The video is awful! It takes good pictures, but who buys a VIDEO camera to take pictures... we returned this camera, looking into a Camon or Sony Video Camera
