I’ve been using this vacuum for a few weeks, and it’s been a solid addition to the household—a great replacement for the older robot vacuum it’s taking over for. The new roller mop design is one of my favorite features. It hugs the wall closely along my baseboards and overall seems to clean my wood floors more effectively than my previous spinning mop vacuum. The dirty water it collects is always murky and gross. The first time I emptied the dirty water tank, I was honestly shocked that it pulled that off my floor. That said, the fact that the water looks that bad is kind of reassuring that it’s doing its job well. The vacuum function is definitely on the louder side. In fact much louder than I was expecting, or than my old bot, but with that loudness, it seems to be doing more actual work and picking up more debris. After each run, the dustbin is full of dog hair, and I’ve found I’m able to go longer between manual “deep cleans” with my stick vacuum than before. Not gonna lie, I was skeptical about the “ZeroTangle” brush, but I haven’t had to deal with any hair tangles yet. I’m used to pulling out the brush and cutting away a mess of hair every few runs, and so far that hasn’t been an issue. The self-cleaning mop feature is super convenient, and the robot does a good job navigating around our busy home, even with the usual obstacles that come from having three teens. The app is straightforward, and I’ve been able to set up scheduling and room-specific cleaning with no hassle. I also love that this vacuum has Matter built in, so I’ve been able to integrate it into my smart home using Apple HomeKit. I can see the status or send it out on a cleaning run straight from HomeKit, which is where I already manage most of my smart devices. While it’s not perfect, the X8 Pro Omni has been an excellent upgrade from my aging robot vacuum, a smart addition to my home setup, and has definitely made keeping the house clean easier.

My husband complained about why I would spend such a big fortune on one robot. Here is why: 1) It does the cleaning job nicely. The corner brush makes a big difference, so the room would not have a dead end. It is all automatic, from vacuuming to mopping, no need to worry. You can even start the cleaning anywhere out of the house. 2) It can jump a little bit. I have a bathroom threshold that is a little bit higher, initially I was worried whether it can make it. I am so happy to see it jumps a little bit to make it. so funny. 3) It is quiet, which is really important since we work at home these days. Of course, I only own this unit for a couple days, so can not comment on how long it would last, but considering how little I need to do to keep the house clean, I would say this is my best investment for myself this year.

I’ve been using the X8 PRO OMNI for a few days now, and it’s been awesome. It’s really quiet that I can run it during my baby’s nap and it doesn’t disturb her at all. The cleaning power is impressive, even with everything set to basic in the app. I haven’t needed to mess with any advanced settings. I’ve scheduled it to run at the same time every day, and it just does its thing. The floors stay clean without me having to think about it. The battery easily lasts through a full clean, no issues there. Honestly, it’s been super convenient and well worth the price.

This robot cleaner is definitely a step up from my pervious one! It has a app that allows you to see what area the robot will be cleaning and can be controlled remotely! You can even make it go back over an area if you think it didnt do a good enough job. Sitting on the couch watching it do its thing is quite nice. The noise wasn’t as loud as i thought it would be, its rather quiet. I think it does a exceptional job at cleaning as well.

This vacuum has truly changed the way I approach cleaning—it’s made everything so much more effortless and hands-free. It’s not only powerful, but also smart enough to clean efficiently and handle some of its own maintenance, which is a huge help during a busy week. After using it several times, I can confidently say it's been a solid investment. One small issue I noticed is that it struggles with a certain carpeted area and occasionally gets stuck, but setting a 'no-go zone' in the app solved that easily.

The new features are amazing the way, the mopping roller expands out as well as the bristle for sweeping. The only reason I didn’t give it. A five star is for some reason it won’t empty the dust into the dust bin. I’ve cleaned it multiple times which it does suck up a lot of dirt into the little bin on the vacuum itself, but it still won’t empty into the dust bag. I have swapped it out waiting on a new one hopefully the dust bag will work and it’ll be an amazing addition.

Unfortunately, we may have gotten a bad unit. I loved the concept of have a robot mop and vacuum my house with the touch of a button. It mapped the house pretty well. I set the robot to clean the home. It was very user friendly. It was pretty good at getting around obstacles. However, half way into cleaning, we received the error code “Robot dirty water box error”. We cleaned the water box multiple times to no avail. After reading the manual and trying to troubleshoot the error, it told us to contact customer service. Back to the store it goes. We will have to try a different model.

Within the first 5 minutes of mapping the house, it got stuck on an exercise mat under the exercise equipment. My old Shark could navigate the mats wth ease. The Shark matrix cost $360 (with a mop system included). This cost me $1299.99 and couldnt even set up the mopping…Its going back immediately. The only reason i replaced the Shark is bc it only lasted 11 months but it was still under warranty. I thought i would try another brand with more suction. Guess I’ll switch back to Shark.
