Good extended monitor for laptop
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to use, plug and play device; would give 5 stars if it had bluetooth for the price I paid for it, i.e., $350. The built-in-speaker quality is not impressive, but the picture quality compensates for it. I use it as an extended monitor occasionally and it makes toggling across screens effortless - certainly has been a game changer for my eyes, not necessarily my wallet though.

My TV is on a break.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I barely use my tv anymore. This is probably one of the best investments i purchased. My only regret is that i did not buy the upgradeversion with the Android TV. My hallway has a use now. Even early in the morning the picture is clear. The only bad thing it does not seem to be compatible with the Samsung S6 lite. I TRIED SEVERAL CONVERTERS.

It's an Epson...silver lining here
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a generous 4 stars for the CO-W01 , and only because it’s an Epson. It’s built well, compact, and lightweight , which is good because this is made for businessmen and women, or anyone that will be traveling and needs a projector. So many other projectors out there at this price point that blow this one out of the water, it makes me wonder why Epson even bothered. Video – Resolution 1280 x 800 (16:10, WXGA) 3,000 lumens is a sales tactic, don’t buy into that. The screen size and manual focus, were both excellent quality, as to be expected from an Epson. One of my favorite things about the video options on Epson is the Keystone corrections that you can make. Allows for mounting or placing the projector in out of the way spots, and tweaking the picture just right on your wall, or screen. No slouch in that department on this projector. Not the worst, not the best. It has a good look to the picture, but again, spend a little more for the full HD, you won’t regret it. There’s a feature where you can click on the remote for higher brightness. If you decide to utilize that, it gets pretty doggone hot, and raises the noise level of the fan considerably. (eventually it eases off, or maybe I just got used to it, but it’s annoying for quite some time at first) Audio – 5W monaural The one thing that really bothers me is the USB-B input choice. I don’t understand why they made that choice. If they put an audio input, it takes this projector into the same ballgame as the rest of them are at. Don’t buy this thing thinking it can play movies right out of the gate and sound great. Well, if you do, then I guess your new to the projector game in the first place. They never have the best speakers, I don’t care what brand you look at. This CO-W01 sounds like I’m back in grade school watching a science movie on the old-school light projectors. If you plan to use this for movies, tv shows, streaming, or gaming at home, it’s an absolute must to use this in conjunction with a sound bar, or speaker of some sort. Good luck finding a USB-B plug that works with most speakers. If you need a lightweight projector for work, or that you can travel with, and you don’t care much about audio/video capabilities, this is not the smallest one you can find out there, but you can trust the Epson name when it comes to projectors. This one will work for you. If you are looking for a replacement for your home theater, console gaming, or streaming, spend a little more and get more for your money.

one great mini projector for your home
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Epson EpiqVision Flex CO-W01 Portable Projector is an amazing portable projector, still new to using the projector but wow im so impressive with this little guy, it’s 1080p projector and wow so far im loving it. I tested this inside my game room, watching anime and trying out netflix, having HDMI does help a lot, you can plug gaming consoles or an apple tv, which what I end up doing . quality of this Epiqvision delivers, it’s simple to use, it’s also nice to have the built in speaker but for me it’s hard to rely on this, honestly it’s not the greatest speaker either, but one issue i’ve notice I don’t see is bluetooth on the setting option to maybe improve my audio clarity in the future, I know some people who just enjoy having video in the back ground then I guess a better sound is not needed. I also made some changes on pictures setting to see what’s better, i usually have my preset on cinema mode but it seems like this will be the first time i’d be using the vivid setting, it doesn’t ruin any picture quality but it does enhance it far better than cinema mode, cinema modes color seems wash out from my experience, pretty his has all standard other features projector have, adjustable feet to adjust the image height you prefer, focus level to adjust your sharpness level and to adjust the perfect angle of the screen itself. Epson EpiqVision also support USB B so you can connect your desktop to laptop as well. I like the remotes look it’s also rubberized button so it feels like it has grip. very simple remote that support all your needs when controlling this projector. so far I can wait to use this outside my patio to have an outdoor movie night. just gotta find my way around on how i’ll connect to better speaker, but so far if you use a laptop, you can just connect through bluetooth using your laptop to a much better speaker. again it’s the single issue i’ve notice , but when it comes to quality images this one has no issue delivering.

Ok Projector for entertainment better for work
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Epson EpiqVision Flex CO-W01 Portable Projector, 3-Chip 3LCD, Built-in Speaker, 300-Inch Home Entertainment and Work, is a good plug and play projector right out of the box. Easy set up, without having to tinker with the settings. Plugged a streaming device right into the HDMI port and the projector immediately detected it and the provided controller was able to control the streaming stick without having to pair it which was extremely nice. I was very surprised by just how good the picture quality was for a projector. My biggest issue with this projector being touted for entertainment is the speakers, in that it’s just one speaker that shoots the sound upwards, which does not sound the greatest if the projector is behind you. The that lack of Bluetooth or a 3mm aux cord port is kinda confusing especially for a device like this in todays market. Where this projector really stands out is using it for business applications and being able to plug your laptop into the hdmi and then being able to use the laptop speakers or being able to use your laptop’s Bluetooth connection for speakers so you can get better sound. Overall this a good entry projector where it’s adequate for entertainment purposes, I plan on using it outside for my kids to do a movie night and will also being using this in my office for meetings.

Our first projector - nice picture
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve read so many bad reviews on projectors that we put this purchase off for years. The Amazon reviews of many unknown-brand products had us believing that streaming wouldn’t work or wouldn’t work without an Android device or would be blocked. We took a chance on this and after logging into everything, setup was complete. And shockingly, we were able to log into Prime, YouTube, Disney, and Netflix flawlessly. Picture quality and brightness were surprisingly nice! I learned to take many of the reviews on projectors with a grain of salt because there are snobs who expect IMAX experiences from a couple, hundred dollar product. My only complaint with this projector is the sound, which we are still working on finding a speaker that is easy to carry with it. Good thing we have Best Buy.

Solid Product
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my fourth Epson projector. I trust the brand and I use the machine for work and for streaming video content in a variety of settings. I run the unit 2000+ hrs/yr and I expect this to last ~4-5 years at that pace as have its predecessors. As one might expect, picture quality is exceptional now. Even golf in HD is brilliantly precise. Be aware: the reduction in user interfaces for varying the image means this unit must be closer to the screen than prior versions.

Good but...
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The projector meets what is required, it has the regular size of the projectors, less brightness than the others, but enough for my house. Good image quality, but it would be ideal if streaming was integrated from it.
